Atlantica glitch in 1.5HD

I recently got 1.5 and 2.5. While on my playthrough of KH1 in Atlantica, I noticed that in one particular area (don't recall which) White Mushrooms tend to spawn. However since they really aren't an aquatic Heartless, they are out of place. They have no animations while in Atlantica and just stand there unmoving in various spots, most floating in one spot.

 

Was this a glitch in the original game, or was it something missed over in Final Mix or FMHD?

 

Just an odd observation.

Just an odd observation.

They help you summon a specific heartless through use of Stop. It's a Final Mix only enemy.

Don't worry! It's not a glitch, you have to cast stop on them to make the Pink agaricus appear(a special heartless that vives you itens for synthesis). They appear in the tree house on deep jungle too

It's a Final Mix only enemy you summon by using Stop on all three of the White Mushrooms. When you do, the giant heartless appears and you have to use Stop on it as well and keep attacking it. Then when the spell wears off, the Heartless will be defeated and leave prizes for you to pick up.

 

(And I was a bit confuse the first time I experienced this. But then I remember that there are new special heartless that only appear in a certain world.)

It should be noted that the Atlantica version is all but impossible to satisfy for the synthesis requirements, so why they stuck it there is absolutely beyond me. But it also appears in Deep Jungle too, so head there if you're doing making the Ultima Weapon!
