FallnFeather 30 Posted January 2, 2015 I'm going to convience my brother to play and so I'm wondering what order I should give for a first time player? I'm thinking 1, COM, 2, 358/Re:coded, BBS, DDD. What would you say? What's going to make the most sense?
Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted January 2, 2015 Order of release is always best so that looks good. Peace! 1 HeyMouseSayCheese reacted to this
hatok 6,413 Posted January 2, 2015 KH1, KH2, BBS, maybe CoM, skip Days, Coded, and then maybe DDD
HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted January 3, 2015 Release order is best because you get to see how the games unfurled and how the story evolved over time. If you play, say, in chronological order, you'll notice some glaring differences in storytelling style between BBS and KH1, and it'd be really weird to a new player. (Also I feel KH1 is the best game to introduce new players to the series anyway.)
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) While I'd strongly recommend playing the games chronologically, playing them in order of release is also good, because that way it'll create questions in your brother's mind, which will be answered as he continues to play the games, so yeah, releasing order is a good way to go, and after playing all the games, then he should play them chronologically.
