so im wondering if he knew that roxas sort of had a heart, or was he talking about sora's heart

I always saw it as Ansem hinting towards the connection Namine shares with Kairi and Roxas with Sora.

 

"Namine's encounter with Roxas put his heart in contact with Kairi's, and that in turn affected Sora."

I wouldn't say that he knew about Ven's heart in Roxas because he probably didn't, but he did know of the connection Roxas shares with Sora. When he said "his heart," it can be read as "Sora's heart through Roxas." -shruggs-

I don't know, but I think Roxas has a heart. The reason is, because he (and axel, but that's not important) are the only ones in the organization who can cry. Maybe Roxas had part of ven's heart. And was giving bits of it to people, and when roxas went back to sora, ven's heart came back to him.

I think it was already confirmed that Roxas had Ven's heart. And thanks to his connection to Axel, Axel was able to grow a form of heart on his own (i.e. he grew the ability to feel).

 

And to the TC, Ansem was just referring to the fact that Roxas and Sora were the same person.

Ok, so in the beginning of BBS Ven took in Sora's newly born heart, (but this was probably about four years before the events of bbs actually take place,) because his was shattered from Xehanort removing the darkness from his heart to make Vanitas. The reason why Vanitas looks like Sora is because of Ven taking in Sora's heart, since Vanitas was technically part of Ven, that change effected him as well. If Ven hadn't have needed to take in Sora's heart, Vanitas probably would have been Ven with much darker hair, probably still black, which might have been cool.

 

The reason why Roxas looks like Ven is because in the end of BBS in the secret ending, Sora takes in Ven's shattered heart (the result of destroying the X-blade since his heart became the X-blade) until it could recover. When Sora released his heart with the heart unlocker, he released his heart (which became the shadow you play as temporarily) and Kairi's heart (which returned to her body).However, Ven's heart stayed with in Sora's body(The heart basically depicts how the person's body looks, at the time. Since Ven's heart was weakened, it had no effect over Sora's body, but Kairi's did, in the sense that sometimes Sora thought he saw her and felt he knew places hed never been to before but she had [Hollow Bastion].). When both Sora's and Kairi's hearts were out of sora's body, which became a nobody of course, Ven's heart was the only heart that had an influence over that body, causining it to take on the appearance of Ven(it was still a technical nobody since the heart wasnt complete, the only difference is that unlike the nobodies that pretended to have emotions, roxas did have them because of vens heart).

Agree with this. You can kinda tell he's talking about Sora's heart by the way he says the sentence. He says it in a way where he's implying "affected him" instead of "affected Sora". I don't know how to explain it but if you listen he says it that way lol

DiZ is not a Keyblade wielder. There wouldn't be any way for him to extract part of Sora's heart and give it to someone else, so no.
