allen95 208 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) I love Christmas because I have a chance to spend more precious time with people I love and I care about... And we never had exchanged gifts for any christmas cause christmas is not about that at all... That's my opinion... thecriticgamer 7 Posted December 24, 2014 I celebrate Hanukkah, it's like Christmes but.. not. There is also a Jewish holiday tht is called Purim where you dress in costumes. 1 Philip Ellwell reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 24, 2014 I do, but not as heavily as I once did. We don't have a tree this year due to money/space, and we didn't decorate beyond a snowglobe and wreath.
Ghost 1,857 Posted December 24, 2014 There are holidays besides christmas?
Skhyatze 165 Posted December 24, 2014 Kinda. Not a religious person at all so I don't celebrate it in THAT way. It was fun as a kid because presents but now it really isn't that exciting.
Ghost 1,857 Posted December 24, 2014 (pardon my last post, another poorly executed joke hehe) I celebrate Christmas but not for religious beliefs. i think its cool if you do, im just not a religious person Idk why some people are so against the idea of giving gifts? I mean if youre getting someone something generic because you feel obligated to then no shit, its not gonna be fun because your hearts not in it! (THE HEART OF THE CARDSSSS) but if youre like me and just buy gifts for the few people im close to, keeping in mind things i really think theyd like? its a blast! besides birthdays, this is the kne time a year where i give people gifts. whats the harm in a little commercialism every now and then, right? im not a religious person, but i do like the spirit and mood around christmas. its different, its nice. for some people of course i know it can be a miserable time, also due to the new years. a lot of people look back and reflect on themselves and that may not be a good thing for some. since i get gifts for people im only close to, i really put a lot of effort and love into whatever ive gotten. it may not mean anything to some, but to me, it does. its just one way that i express my love or appreciation for someone, yknow? thats how i express it, anyways As for other holidays, well I only ever celebrate christmas and nothing else so I dont know how it must feel. Id imagine id feel bad that my holiday was overshadowed by the biggest one...? but then again, other holidays like halloween and easter are popular, and youll always come across prople who dont celebrate it....trust me it was a bitch at work to wish children a "Happy Halloween!" only to find out that they dont celebrate it. who the firetruck deprives their kids of free cavity-inducing candy is beyond me, imfo I do have a friend whose entire family are a bunch of Jehovas witnesses...they dont celebrate anything but my friend is autistic and chill so my uncle gets him a christmas present secretly SO ENDING THIS with no matter what you celebrate, i extend my christmas wishes to you, as well as happy holidays!! if this is a sad time for you im sorry, but dont worry because its only once a year MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALLLLLLL
Master Keeper 687 Posted December 24, 2014 Never did because our country never celebrate for christmas anyways.
Rinax 473 Posted December 24, 2014 Not religiously. It's just a way for everyone to get together. IMO, it's all about the money and chocolate.

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 25, 2014 Yep, I've always celebrated Christmas with my family, and it's my favorite holiday! I just love how everything seems so much peaceful during Christmastime, and the cold breeze is so refreshing! Spending time with loved ones is a prime reason for celebrating Christmas! Family union, that's what it is. And well, Christmas is the day that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, so there's that too! Christmas overall is such a nice holiday. ^^
Minori 20 Posted December 25, 2014 Kinda neutral on it.
Ceriraye 485 Posted December 25, 2014 Mostly Xmas for me, is about spending time with family and friends and giving gifts to those you care for. Christmas was never about a religion to me. So yeah I do, but not the way the rest of my family does. If that makes sense.
