Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 24, 2014 Perfect. It's almost Christmas and it certainly doesn't feel like it. Nick sat in his little meeting room somewhere in Alaska: he was supposed to host the meeting today since it is almost HIS holiday. So he was. He would host it in the North Pole, but his dad was still pissed off at him. Took away most of his 'Santa Magic.' To top it all off, he was having a terrible hangover from drinking some Vodnog the night before. He sat there at the long round table, head in his arms as he tried to nap at the table before the others arrived. Miguel already arrived. He loved coming to these things just to watch Nick get annoyed at everyone. He sat down in his usual seat with a snicker. "Hola my red-nosed amigo." "Did you hear me say that you're not allowed to be here?" Nick asked with an aggravated groan. "Didn't YOU hear me say that I don't give a firetruck and I do what I want?" With that, Miguel kicked back and relaxed while he waited for the others, most notably Grim and Samhain. He liked them the most. Especially Samhain. He was so adorable. He didn't know if the other infected holidays would show up. The gloomed infected were technically banned from the meetings recently, but they could still show up. He was gloomed himself, but at least it didn't really change him; it was like a cold to him so far. 1 JennioNeli reacted to this
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted December 24, 2014 "Surprise." Shiiro said, it sounded monotone. She barged in the meeting room, giving Nick and Miguel some chocolates. "I got these for hoping Amor wasn't here yet. Thankfully that little—" Shiiro cut herself off to refrain from cursing. She really didn't like Valentines. White Day was so much better. Aside form that, Shiiro took a seat away from Miguel and Nick, miding her own business.
Naegi 149 Posted December 24, 2014 Ayano, the Easter Bunny sighed. One of her messangers came up to her today saying something about Nickolas Claus hosting a meeting. In her heart, she never liked that boy, always drinking booze, and making his father mad. Just the kind of person she dislikes. She let out another sigh as she got up from her desk. Despite Ayano's distaste for Nick, she really had no choice but to go to the meeting, it must be important afterall. "George, I'm heading out for a meeting, make sure everything stays in order while I'm gone ok?" George, her trusty bunny worker nodded his head. "As you wish my lady!" With that out of the way, Ayano summoned a tunnel on the floor. It was her main source of transportation, but it could only work if she was in her underground realm. Waving good bye to George, she jumped straight into the tunnel as everything around her became a blur. Back at the meeting room where the holidays were, a tunnel opened up at the ceiling as Ayano fell down right into her seat with a crash. "Ugh, I really need to improve my landing.." She muttered as got into a proper sitting position. Realizing the others just sitting there, the bunny awkwardly waved to them as a greeting. "Ah..hi..it's uh, been awhile." - - - - - ((I'll do Clover's in the next post, I'm abit tired))
Stardustblade358 806 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) “This year I’m going to get that job I really want!” “I’m going to get straight A’s this year, I promise!” Aoba heard the resolutions of everyone. At first to hear so many resolutions at once, it was hard to comprehend, and it gave him a lot of headaches. But after so many years he had found a way to cope it rather well. Every resolution made was converted into a small grain of light of the size of a pearl. Aoba would then store those grains in a jar he always carried inside his coat. By the end of the year, those grains and resolutions would be used to bring luck for the people for the new year. Aoba struggled to get to the meeting room. The snow swallowed up his legs and it was struggle to walk around! Father Time had dropped him off a few miles from the place. As much as he appreciated, he hopes to receive some hot chocolate in the end. His teeth chattering, he finally reached up to the cabin the middle of Alaska. Tripping on his feet against the snow, he knocked against the door, but the force of his knock only had a bunch of snow fall ontop of him, trapping him underneath. Between muffled complaints, he was suddenly pulled out of the snow by a familiar figure. “You seriously need to find a better ride.” Aoba glanced up to recognize the voice. “Grim.” Aoba said with a smile. The Grim Reaper put Aoba back down on his feet. Unlike Aoba, he wasn’t wearing any coats or scarves or anything of the sort, just his usual somewhat revealing outfit. “Aren’t you cold?! I’m freezing!” Aoba said as he watched Grim open the door for them. “The dead can’t feel cold. Come on.” Grim muttered, and the two walked in, Grim closing the door behind him. “I’m heeeeere!” Aoba called as he ran up to the table, picking out a random seat to sit in. “Do you have hot cocoa? I hope you have some.” Aoba asked as he smiled at Nick. Then turned to wave at the rest of the people, waving at them. “Hey everyone! Long time no see! How's it going?! My holiday is coming up so you better do your resolutions early while you can!"Aoba said cheerfully. Grim walked up behind Miguel, slightly ignoring the rest for a little big. "You shouldn't be here. You can infect us." Edited December 24, 2014 by Stardustblade358

Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted December 24, 2014 "So I guess I shouldn't be her either, Grim?" Shiiro asked a bit rudely, her eyes glaring at Grim. She was already mad. Nobody wanted her chocolates and someone already wanted her gone. Shiiro simply put one of her chocolates in her mouth, brushing her hair to the side and letting the chocolate melt. Arya Stark 1,337 Posted December 24, 2014 "You really shouldn't." A deep voice from behind Shiiro said. "As much as I'd love chocolate, it would be unwise to have those who have been infected to join us here." Ryonne said, stepping through the door. He brushed off the snow from his cloak, and without a further show, sat down in a chair. Azalea bounced in and took Shiiro's chocolate, then sat next to Ryonne. And finally, Severa strode in, arms crossed and angrily glaring as usual. She looked to Miguel, then to Shiiro. "What MD is too polite to say is, get the hell out before you endanger what could be a vital meeting towards the survival of life as we know it." She said crossly. Ryonne sighed loudly, and spoke up again. "Don't call me MD, and if they feel they should stay, than I will not stop them. Nor should you. They can still be of some help to us." Severa shook her head in disagreement, but took her seat anyway, kicking her legs up onto the table.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) Nick slowly pushed the chocolates away; no need to get infected. "Thank you..." He said hesitantly. He looked over to the many other holidays. "Hello Ayano." He rubbed his temples. He knew she hated him. He swiveled around in his chair to meet with Aoba. "On the table over there next to the water. I can make you some before the meeting starts." He was only ever nice to the children holidays, especially Aoba. They shared close dates. Samhain however, Nick thought the four year old was terrifying. "Ooooo sugar~" Miguel said gleefully as he munched on the chocolates. Infected or not, it wasn't going to do anything to him either way. "Thank you, seniorita~• he dramatically turned to see Grim behind him and put his hand to his chest as if he been shot. "But Muerto- I thought we were friends!" He said half jokingly. He thought Grim as a brotherly kind of friend, they were similar after all. Naegi 149 Posted December 24, 2014 Ayano folded her arms across her chest. She wanted no part in their conversation though in her head, she agreed that anyone affected with those glooms should not be here. 'This is why I hate meetings..' Meanwhile, an invisibile presence was hiding in the room. Clover was using his illusions to hide his appearance as he leaned against the wall with an eerie grin. He was finding this situation amusing. He never guess somebody with the gloom would attend the meeting, besides himself of course.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted December 24, 2014 “Yes, you shouldn’t.” Grim said bluntly as he turned to look at Shiiro. He wasn’t trying to pick a fight, but this Gloom has affected humans as well, and tragically, it has started to take lives earlier than their assigned dates, and that only made Grim get sad and frustrated. He then turned his gaze to Miguel, sighing before speaking again, taking out a book of calendars and schedules, all of when and who was meant to die at what date and time. “It’s not that I have anything against you guys. But this Gloom has affected humans too…the gloom infects and kills off the hosts if the person is not strong enough, that’s what I’ve seen in humans, and it’s throwing me off schedule. If spirits start to die too, then we’re going to have a problem.” Grim hissed as he pointed at a random page, showing crossed out names and white out marks on it. Aoba cheered at the offer of hot chocolate after the meeting. But in the meantime he would have to settle for Shiiro’s chocolates. “I’ll take a few!” Aoba said as he took a few of the chocolates and started to eat them up. “There’s no point in wasting chocolates, or fighting. We should just get along. We’re all friends after all.” Aoba said between a mouthull of chocolates. He then tapped on Ayano’s shoulder, offering one of his chocolates. “It’s chocolate truffle~” Aoba waved it. Grim walked over and took a seat. “I just want to take precaution-“ Grim started before he was interrupted by the door slamming open. “HELLLOOOOOOOOOO~” It was April, who walked across the room with her signature grin. “Nice to see you all!~”April said with a giggle. Grim gently rubbed his temples.
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) The Green Varmill, Or Patty for short, finally made it to Nick's residence. She had traveled on her own to get there. It has been so long since he has seen everyone. He knocked on the door, and opened it slowly, calling out. "O-Oi there, l-lads. It has been a while!...", She chuckled nervously, shivering violently. He closed the door, approached the table and took a seat. He was in his normal form. "It is such a delight t-to see ye' all here! So, what'd I miss?" He looked around the table and suddenly felt uneasy. There was Gloom here. He shrunk into her chair and remained silent for the time being. Then he heard a loud noise at the door. Oh dear. April. The Varmill quietly groaned. He never really liked her ever since the Gloom incident. It was heartbreaking, really. Naegi 149 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) When Aoba offered his choclate to Ayano, she gave him a gentle smile. "I would glady have one, thank you Aoba." Petting his head softly with one hand, she took the piece of chocolate with the other as she nibbled on the chocolate. Compared to the other holidays, Aoba was one of her favorites, mainly due to his innocent, cute nature, and the fact that he seems to be mature despite his age. Hearing the door open, she turned her head to see Green Varmill being nervous as usual. As he sat down in his seat, another person came in and it was..April. Immediately Ayano's ears shot up and her tail twitched. April was Ayano's least favorite holiday even before she got affected with the Gloom. Being pranked by her was not fun. - - - - - Clover paid no heed to April's appearance but stared daggers at Green Varmill, after all, Clover was an entity based off from his holiday. Hopefully that didn't alert the others his presence. Edited December 24, 2014 by Naegi
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 24, 2014 Miguel crossed his arms with a soft sigh. He did not want to be the bad guy all because of this Gloom. "I might be infected, but I barely changed from the gloom. Plus, I can smell gloom too." He gave his friend a grin. "So, I'd say you need me. I can help, after all. Save humans too by finding out who's infected and who's not. And besides, what are the infected supposed to do?" Nick was about to blow a gasket. He thought about the hot chocolate. He hasn't had hot chocolate when he was a kid back when he and the big guy were inseparable. Now that he thought about it, he acted just like Aoba when he was little. Always on the Nice List every year. "Will you all shut- APRIL!" He cried. Her sudden burst made his eardrums rock from his hangover. He could've sworn he just went deaf. Stray Reaper 143 Posted December 24, 2014 Samhain held a little Jack O Lantern about the size of his torso as he walked through the snow. It refused to stick to his body as he moved through it. Sam entered through the door of the meeting place and raised the lit pumpkin to his lips. The quick scan of the room advised him against it. "I thought we were here to talk about how to rid the world of these baddies rather then talk to them"said Sam in his usual childish tone. Rules had been broken but he couldn't risk attacking without more infomation. Sam's button eyes were still but his vision was slowly swinging between the two infected of their kind. Placing down the out of season ornament, a orange lollipop was placed in his mouth from his pocket of his onsie.
Firo_Procheniezio 71 Posted December 24, 2014 "One two three ... BANDZAI!" Mercury and Jack flew towards the door but sadly crashed into it. "Hey everyone!" They said synchronized. Both of them were energetic as could be especially jack for some reason. He and mercury had been up to no good most of the time so he was relaxed. His friend was less so but always good to see the others or the "Actives" as he called them. The chaos around the place is as lively as ever April was there too double trouble. The only thing that could go wrong was that somehow the place would blow up but that's impossible. Then again if April is here ...
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) Despite that entrance by April, The Varmill still greeted her politely. "'Ey there, lass...good to see ya'...", He waved. Then he saw little Aoba and waved with a light smile, saying he'd be happy to have hot chocolate after the meeting. Suddenly, The Varmill gave Nick a stern look and crossed his arms. "Ay. Lookit you. Ya' call us all here for a meetin', got somethin' important to tell us, it almost be yer' holiday, 'en you've been been drinkin'! You know, you could settle for something else that doesn't destroy yer' liver. Like cookies and milk, fruitcake, or candy canes. I know those used to be some a' your favorites. I know they were some of ol' Santy's favorites.", He scolded. Then little Samhain sat down. Such a terrifying child. Thinking of him reminded him of Clover. The Varmill sighed. He really liked Clover. They used to be such close friends, but now, that's was all for naught. Speaking of which, where is that scamp? If other gloom-infected folk were here, why not Clover. Even if the leprechaun was all Gloom-ified, The Varmill still cared about him a little bit. Besides, he felt as if there was more Gloom in here. The varmill hopped off his chair, but as soon as he did, Mercury and Jack burst through the door. Honestly, how loud is this room going to get?? "'Ello, Jack! Mercury! You both look mighty cheerful today! 'Tis the season, after all!", He shouted cheerfully. After his greeting, the varmill then proceeded to look for more Gloom. He scanned the room, and then proceeded to pat on the walls around it. "Don't mind me. Just...looking for something! Or, someone...", He muttered. TheGuide 177 Posted December 24, 2014 Ash trudged through the snow. He didnt want to be here, but he knew if all the holidays were meeting, it must be important. And if gloom was on the agenda to talk about, ash wanted to be there to help. He didnt let on, but gloom was the only thing that really got him riled up. His holiday was a day of reflection, so he wasnt one to let things bother him, but gloom was the one thing he just couldn't stand. As he moved toward the meeting, he said to himself "This snow isnt helping. i better do something to speed up, im already late." he looked over and saw a tree, devoid of leaves on the side of the field. He lifted up his hand and focused on it. The tree had no change for a few moments, and then starting at the top, it quickly turned to ash. The ash slid over the snow like a snake, lifted Ash up, and he rode it all the way to the meeting. as he walked in, he saw most other holidays were already there. "Hello everyone." He took an empty seat and awaited the beginning of the meeting.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 25, 2014 Nick ran his hands through his hair. "Will everyone just shut up! I know we shouldn't be talking to any of the gloomed holidays. It's not my fault they showed up!" He groaned. This meeting will never start. Then Varmill started to talk. "Yes, I know." His voice lowered and his face softened. "Don't mention /him/." Miguel looked rather upset at Samhain and Grim. "What the hell? I got infected because I was trying to help all of you fight the Glooms! Actually, I got infected trying to protect /HIM!/" he pointed to Nick. "If it wasn't for me, Christmas wouldn't even be happening right now. Oh and Varmill-" he sniffed the air and pointed to where Clover was. "Come out, darling. I can smell ya from here." Miguel usually never got upset like this. He was always laid back. But with his fellow holidays turning against him, he felt pretty angry.
Hazimie 1,595 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) Lir arrived on the meeting pretty late, where he carry his Black weapon with his left hand and he also bought some cookies inside the box as a Christmas Present on his right hand. " It seems the meeting was about to start....how lately I am here..." Lir said as he began to approach to other Holidays as he put the present on the table. "Looks like this Year's Christmas was more busier than the last time..." Lir said as he look forward to this holiday that they're celebrating... Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 25, 2014 "Tell me about it." Nick grumbled. He couldn't even count how many people were here. Oh my Rudolph was his migrane getting even worse. He ignored Miguel for now, he didn't have any time for Miguel's bull. "Welcome Lir, Ash, Jack, Mercury, and, uh... Samhain..." Nick suddenly felt a shiver down his spine. That kid always scared the hell out of him. He always slept with one eye open when Samhain was in the building. Miguel was about to go on, when he actually smelt something more than the other Gloom Holidays in the room. Suddenly he grabbed Aoba's wrist, and snatched a piece of chocolate that he was about to eat. "Don't want to eat this one Niño. It stinks of Gloom." Miguel actually popped the chocolate in his mouth and hummed to himself. "Gloom is pretty tasty, gotta admit. Don't worry, the rest of the chocolaté is fine." Stray Reaper 143 Posted December 25, 2014 The Jack O Lantern found its way onto Samhain's lap. The protection from it didn't just extend to himself but also everyone in the room gloomed or not. His dangling legs pendulums only meeting at the middle of their swing. "Aoba you know better you should always check your candy"said Sam looking over at Miguel taking candy away from the young boy. His head then turned to the rest of the gathered beings of this meeting. "So do we all leave and try again some other day" asked Sam in his usual innocent tone. The threat was pressing on everyone and Samhain knew it. He missed the old Santa, the old saint would have known how to rally everyone. The old man had always followed the rules and made sure his rules were followed. That aspect of him made Sam respect and like him.
Azure Flame 670 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) Kuro strode in, his black cloak trailing behind him. "Did I miss anything?" he asked. He sauntered over to his chair and plopped into it, kicking his feet up to rest on the table. His arms rested behind his head, interlocking his fingers as he looked upon them. They had no idea what he had planned for them, or what he was going to do once everyone was there. He was a little restless though, despite his relaxed position. He was itching to use his powers and infect them all, but he had to wait for all the holidays to show up, take them all out in one fell swoop. Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted December 25, 2014 "Oh, thank you, Miguel." As soon as Ash walked in, the varmill got distracted from his searching and waved happily at him. Since they shared the same month, the varmill was usually nice to him. He then continued his wall scanning for Clover. However, he also talked to some of the others at the table. "Ay. Shiro, dear woman, just look at how array the holiday's 'ave gotten because a' your sweets! Why, were you trying to fool us all with tha' ol' trick? Tsk, tsk, tsk. You know, at this point, a' think we all know what Gloom looks like, so why even try?", the varmill scolded again. "I apologise, but I just cannot stand holidays bringing Gloom and hiding from their responsibilities!" Just as he said that, he felt an invisible space on the wall. "Speakin' o' which..." The varmill then gently slapped the lump on the wall. "Aha! I think I've found ya'! Come on, stop hidin'! I-I 'm not afraid of ya'!", the varmill taunted, slapping the invisible space a couple more times.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted December 25, 2014 (Forgive me for not posting I’ve been playing 12 straight hours of Dragon Age: Inquisition and I’m awake purely by coffee.) April took a seat, spinning it around so the chair was facing backwards, sitting down on it and resting her arms on the back of the hair, and her head on her arms. “Why is everyone soooo grumpy about Gloooom? It’s like being high all day loooong~” April squealed. Aoba, being the friendly and playful child he was, couldn’t help but to feel excited by seeing all of the holiday entities come by one by one. It made him happy to see his friends, even April despite how annoying she was. “Truthfully we shouldn’t be worrying so much about the Gloom. Even as it is a threat, none of the Gloom infected holidays within this meeting have done anything to prove that the Gloom has corrupted them beyond their natural state. Unless something does happen, they are our friends no less. Besides, we should focus on the meeting concerning Nick’s holiday. A few days afterwards it will be mine after all.” Aoba commented. Even as a child, he had lived for a long time enough to be able to act responsible when it was necessary…even if it was only once every a few decades. Grim rubbed his temples. “Alright, alright! No more complaints from the Gloom infested from me! Let’s just get this over with can we?!” Grim hissed, feeling a headache about to come up to him any second now. As far as he knew the Gloom only affected heavily the weak. As the child of Death, if he was to be affected, he didn’t know what would happen, or how it would affect him. Kingdom Key D 160 Posted December 26, 2014 Late. Aurora hated being late. It had been six hundred and twenty eight years since the last time (of course it was twenty eight years. Unlucky number), and she was not enjoying breaking her streak. She had an excuse, naturally. Winter Solstice was two days ago, and she was picking up from a small celebration with her friends. She smiled, maybe some of the younger holidays didn't even know what her holiday was. Ah well. Aurora folded her wings as her feet broke through the snow at the door of the Pole. She took a deep breath. Best to get this over with. Then she opened the door quietly, wincing slightly as the wind blew in, and moved inside the room, slipping over to the wall. She might be late, but Aurora certainly wasn't going to be loud about it.
