ShonenGameZ.com has uploaded and translated a new scan for the game, which confirms that Hanabi Hyuga in her appearance from The Last will be playable. It also confirms a new gameplay feature called Leader Change where you can switch between which character is playable in Team Battle.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. I like the sound of team battles in this one, reminds me of Clash of Ninja Revolution's team battles. Kinda funny that the PS/Xbox games are just now starting to catch up to the Wii games with these features.

Crunchyroll, as part of a feature on Bandai Namco Global Gamer's Day, got to play a demo for the game (shown in the newest trailer that came out) and found out some new details as well.

Some changes have also been announced for the game, such as combining the Ultimate Jutsu, Awakening, and Drive playstyles from Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution so characters can use both Ultimate Jutsu and Awakening in battle, and adjustments to counterattacks and Guard Breaking for a more fair, competitive experience. New faces from The Last: Naruto the Movie were also shown off, including Naruto, Sasuke, and Hanabi Hyuga.

Oh, goood. Glad they put these features back.

I hated how Revolution played. Totally destroyed character individuality, concerning how Ultimate Jutsus and Awakenings were pulled off.

So now that Rin is playable, it's pretty much fair game for any other character that hasn't been playable in a Storm game. Kurenai, Anko, the Sound Four, Team Dosu, Chiriku, Pakura, Gari, etc.

 

... Except the Seven Swordsmen and Gin/Kinkau, because seriously, who cares about them? lol
