Great! I've been hoping for great games on my PS4. This and FFXV and maybe Type-0 will hold me over till 2017.

So, decided to write up a list of who all I think has a chance of getting in the game, and who I'd personally like to see be announced (One's got a really low chance, but hey, my Kushina prediction came true, so I'm hoping that will keep up)

 

First off, returning characters: Everyone from Revolution will hopefully return. I see no reason to cut anyone aside from the PTS characters, and even then, the fact that they returned for Revolution means they've still got a shot, right?

 

Now, for new characters (Might miss a few likely ones, I apologize in advance):

 

 

 

Juubito- Obito as the Ten Tails Jinchuuriki. Considering how huge this was in the story at the time it occurred, I think he'll become his own character.

Revived Madara- Madara after being revived. Might be more of a cosmetic change than anything else, but I feel like this one's likely.

Sage Madara- Madara with the power of the Sage of Six Paths (SO6P). This one's pretty obvious.

Kaguya- The final villain obviously needs to be playable, right?

SO6P Naruto- Naruto after gaining power from the SO6P.

SO6P Sasuke- Sasuke after gaining power from the SO6P.

Eighth Gate Guy- This might just be an Awakening, but a separate slot for Guy with the Eighth Gate techniques would be pretty cool.

 

And... That's all I can think of for the main series characters at the moment. On to The Last!

 

The Last characters:

The Last Sasuke- Since we're getting Naruto's The Last design, Sasuke will also need to be included. I'd be surprised if he isn't.

The Last Sakura- Rounding out the original three characters would make sense Even though CC2 obviously hates Sakura

Kakashi (Hokage)- This one just makes a lot of sense to me. Considering how much CC2 loves their Kage characters, he's got to make it in.

The Last Hinata- With her importance in The Last, I get a feeling she'll also be playable.

Toneri- If we're getting characters from The Last, we'll have to get the main villain.

 

And, of course, chapter 700 characters!

Naruto (Hokage)- Well... Why wouldn't he be in? We've already had a Hokage costume for Naruto, although I feel like adult Naruto with his Hokage cloak would easily make it in the game.

Sasuke (Adult)- Again, can't have Naruto without Sasuke.

 

Now on to the characters who I hope will get in, but I don't think are quite as likely.

 

Main series:

Kurenai- Oh come on, CC2. She's been a support for how many games now? She was playable in the original Ultimate Ninja games, you can just reuse that moveset if you have to.

Shizune- Same as above (Firaga don't get pissed off at me for those two please ;_; )

Rin- This one's incredibly unlikely, but I'd really like to see Team Minato get rounded out with Rin as a playable character. Some might argue that we've never seen her fight, but everyone told me the same thing when I suggested Kushina, and she made it in. I'm hopeful for Rin now.

 

The Last:

Every other member of the Konoha 12- I doubt that some of the lesser characters will get in, but come on, it would be cool to see all of them playable.

Hanabi- We need the greatest hero in the world She's also supposed to have some plot relevance, so she'd be nice to see as a playable character. Not to mention she was playable in UN3.

 

Chapter 700:

Boruto- This might not be as likely since we won't see him in action until the next movie, but I'd really like to play as Boruto in the next game.

Hinata (Adult)- Again, might not be as likely, but if we get Boruto, I'd really like to see an Ultimate Jutsu involving Naruto, Hinata, and Boruto, kind of like how Naruto/Minato/Kushina had one.

The other three new Kage- This is actually more likely than pretty much everyone else on this part of the list, but I'd like to play as the other three for once. Getting them in their Kage costumes would be the best way to include them.

Sakura (Adult)- Saved this for last because it's the least likely of these, but again, rounding out Team 7 would be really nice. I know all we saw her do in chapter 700 was clean, but I doubt she quit being a ninja. Let's just hope she doesn't end up as a Kushina clone

 

 

So... Yeah. Those are my thoughts. Agree with me? Think I'm a complete idiot for some of those less likely choices? I just want to get in some discussion, really... Heh...

I know that sounds dumb, and that it goes against my whole agenda on condensing the roster and not having multiple incarnations of the same character, but hear me out: The Last characters are older, wiser, and as far as we know, highly more adept in their ninja skills compared to their younger selves. This would be a chance to give them all brand new move-sets that full emphasizes that. If Sasuke and Rock Lee in "The Last" can break open meteors, they're obviously stronger than they were in Part II/Shippuden, and I'm sure its the same for every other "The Last" character, especially Kakashi considering he has no Sharingan but is still strong enough to maintain his Kage level. For Chapter 700: I don't think having Boruto and the new gen. characters is likely at all. I think they could benefit more from having their own game solely about their story, but just like the minor characters, its a coin flip. It could go either way. That said, I wouldn't mind at all if they actually did get in because we'd get a sneak peak of their abilities.

Kurenai, Shizune and Rin. I don't see them coming in favor of guys like Juubito, Juubidara, Kaguya and so on. If they were to be in, I'd want them to have really good movesets i.e. Kurenai needs more than just her Itachi Rip-off Jutsu. She's a Genjutsu type so there's plenty of room to play around with that jutsu wise. Shizune should not only use poisons and medical ninjutsu, but she should be a comedy character and use Tonton in her moves too, because that worked well in UN3. Rin... well... she only has healing and basic ninja abilities so honestly, she should be a Jincuriki character with a Three Tails form and everything. She was the Jinchuriki for Sanbi at one point, so why not work in a little what if scenario with her character? I'd guarantee you it'd be ten times better than just leaving her with that big trap ball that Part I Sakura has. lol

 

Also, If I could be fair and name off some minor characters that I'd want in Storm 4, I'd go with: Might Dai, because he's Guy's dad, and he was relevant for Gai's battle with Madara, and for a man of his character and ability, he'd probably be really fun and unique to play with; Sakumo Hatake, because he's Kakashi's dad and he's been hyped up since the Kakashi Gaiden and we've literally never seen him fight in the manga, anime or anything; Kitsuchi (Kurotsuchi's dad and Onoki's son), because he was a really stern but cool guy and as one of the commanders in the war, it'd make sense to show him some love, maybe give him some unique high-level Earth jutsus too; Omoi, (Killer B's apprentice and member of Team Samui), because although Samui herself would fit because she's the leader and even Karui would too if there was more emphasis on Chapter 700, Omoi is the only one who's actually had time to shine in both the manga and anime. He's really unique in that he's a soft spoken but paranoid dude that still has enough skill to pull off some awesome kenjutsu and Lighting Style attacks, which would make for a cool moveset; and last, but certainly not least, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, because he has never been explicitly shown fighting at all but... this is basically the God of the Naruto world, or Jesus Christ actually if you want to stick Kaguya into this analogy. Even so, he would obviously pack a real punch if he were playable.

This might just be because I really don't pay attention to graphics that much, but I haven't noticed paper faces in Storm 3/Revolution. I don't see why Storm 4 would have them if those two didn't. I will say I want them to get rid of the weird UJ/Awakening/Drive battles, though. It was more fun when they were all usable in one match. If the Ninja World Tournament mode returns, or at least 4 player battles (I really hope they do, especially considering the freaking Wii games had that from the very beginning), I hope that works for multiplayer/online. I'd love to battle friends in that format (Of course, by the looks of it, I'm the only person who actually liked those battles).

Also, good to know they're not just reskins. Can't wait to see them all in action! I'm curious about what Sakura and Hinata are going to do, considering we really don't know anything about their new abilities yet (Although the people who got to see the movie in Japan do...)
