Young Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, or Organization Cameos?

Which would you prefer?

For those who don't know, in Birth by Sleep originally Leon and the other Final Fantasy cameos from radiant Garden were meant to have their back story shown, but it was cut because he felt it was too busy including that alongside the Organization XIII foreshadowing cameos

 

So question

Which would you prefer, given the chance? Showing the past of Leon and the gang, or the previous lives of the Organization?

Personally I would have vastly preferred the Leon stuff, I found the Organization stuff really forced and heavy handed

tough question. I think they shouldve balanced it out, put in a little of both. But if i had to choose one over the over, id go with leon and the others. but then again, with seeing the young organization members, some things in the series makes more sense. hence the need for a little of both.

I suppose the answer would be obvious for someone who loves the Organization so much.

It would have to be interesting either way, though. No small cameo and a few lines, please. (More) Interaction would be nice. Preferably not Ven's "Oh, that's too bad about your parents... Where's Terra?"

I really want to hear more about the organization members. The FF characters had their own games. So, I already know a lot about them. I would rather learn more about people like Demyx(duh), Larxene and Marluxia. See what they were like before they became nobodies and all that jazz. Because the old FF character aren't really interesting to me anymore.

As much of a fan I am of Leon's apple booty I still want the org cameos.  I remember how thrilled I was to see them. It was awesome.

Although it would've been really interesting to see Leon and the others in younger version, I think for story importance, the sombodies of the organization XIII are priorities and I would definitely prefer them and will also wait for the missing somebodies to appear in future titles.

Well, ideally, I'd like both. I think that, since it's been a while since KH2, we've kind of forgotten how important Leon actually is within the plot. I mean, he's the person who first takes Sora under his wing and sort of gives him guidance, and then during KH2 he's spearheading the movement to put Hollow Bastion back together. Not to mention that he seems to be one of the most aware NPCs in the game as far as the state of affairs in the universe is going, either because Sora is briefing him or because he's put it together himself. 

 

What I wish had happened in BBS is that we have a moment where Leon and Mickey meet, since they know each other before the events of the first game, and that could kind of piece things together in that way.

 

For the Organization members, I actually feel that they get much of the same treatment as the rest of the characters in the game that aren't the main cast. That is, they sort of get fleeting cameos without any real substance that enhances their characters (Braig being the notable exception, of course). If the level design and writing had actually alotted any kind of respectable amount of time in any of the worlds for us to hang around and see the characters and get to know them, I think their cameos might have been far more worthwhile than just the drive-by we got.

I personally rather have both, as I felt that the Organization stuff was neither unnecessary nor "heavy-handed" (Braig's important too you know), but I still would have loved to see what was going on in the lives of Leon and the gang before the destruction of Radiant Garden (maybe we could have seen Riona too?). I felt that if it weren't due to the size of the game and the PSP's limitations, they could have easily added the Restoration Committee into the plot. It's not like KH game never had too much going on at once before anyway.

I'm more than content with the cameos the members of the Organization had in Birth By Sleep, and I wouldn't change it for the world!  The thing that would always leave me smiling was how Even always smirked just by seeing Ventus.  He was already up to some mischief by then, that's for sure, and seeing Ienzo was an OMG moment for me!  Plus, Dilan, Aeleus, Lea and Isa were cameos I loved seeing, although I wished there could have been appearances by the somebodies of Marluxia, Demyx, Larxene and Luxord!  They're the only ones we haven't seen yet!  Here's hoping they show up in Kingdom Hearts III! X3
