RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted December 10, 2014 Somebody must have started some mess with that guy, which caused him to be this way. I'm just making a guess.

Dracozombie 4,554 Posted December 10, 2014 Why I don't get is why they turned cosplay into another stupid sex vs sex battle. Yes, the comic industry is usually targeted towards guys, but that article assumed that it was only girls who cosplay. I've been to conventions a handful of times, and both girls and guys do it. If you're gonna target people for humiliating themselves for putting on a costume when it's not Halloween, knock yourself out -- you can go back to drawing about your spandex-clad superheroes punching stuff, which of course is infinitely more artsty and worthwhile than piecing together the right materials for an awesome costume of a character they like (and are probably helping to promote). 1 Demyx. reacted to this

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 11, 2014 Wow, this was an overreaction beyond what I would have originally thought! Geez, why can't people accept that comics as a whole can be accessible to all genders? I find that it's awesome that women nowadays are getting into comics, that's a pretty badass thing in my opinion, and well, if guys can cosplay, then women have just as much right to cosplay as well! 1 Lady Aleister reacted to this
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) The colorful costumes take away from the comic's seriousness? WHAT THE HELL! There are way more super heroes dressed in bright, primary colors that there are those in dark grayclae, blues and purples. And basically comics should stay male dominated? Yeah, that's why Marvel had Thor pass on is powers to a woman. They're not trying to attract female readers at all.Idiots. I mean, I'm not happy they replaced Thor with a woman myself, I would have preferred if they'd made a new character based on a Goddess in his pantheon, not tied to Thor, or Hel, they could have given Sif her own serial, but the fact that they gave a woman the name and powers of one of their more prolific heroes clearly shows they want more female readers.
