Firaga 5,947 Posted March 7, 2015 Kanzenshuu.com recently translated some of the dialouge from the newest trailer: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/2015/03/02/new-dragon-ball-z-revival-of-f-trailer-reveals-freeza-form/ The passage they translated takes place near the end of the trailer and reads: NARRATOR: “At last, the overlord is revived. He has but one objective: revenge upon Son Goku.” Freeza: “Well then, shall we begin?” (“F” by Maximum the Hormone) Freeza: “Allow me to show you… my further evolution!” / “Why don’t we start the second part of my revenge?” Goku: “Freeeeeezaaaa! (“‘Z’ no Chikai” / “Vow of ‘Z'” by Momoiro Clover Z) Freeza: “Mr. Vegeta! I’ll make you the commander-in-chief of Freeza’s forces.” Narrator: “Just what is the worst outcome that waits at the end of the fierce battle…?” Beerus: “This is something you invited by being soft.” Vegeta: “You’re history.” (Freeza laugh) The most interesting thing to take from this is, of course, the notion that Frieza offering Vegeta to join his side. Personally, I do not see this happening under normal circumstances because Vegeta accepting would make him evil-hearted and he wouldn't be qualified to become a Super Saiyan God anymore and also because the very idea of two people like Vegeta and Frieza coming together is farfetched at best. Now I said "normal circumstances" because there will obviously be more details on in the movie so it wouldn't be right to really judge the decision as a whole before they are even revealed to us. Still, as it stands, I find it unlikely. 1 Reyn reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) FUNimation has announced that they will be airing "Fukkatsu no F" in Japanese with English subtitles on April 21, 2015 for English audiences at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, a week before it premieres in Japan. Limited time tickets are already on sale now. Zachy1993 65 Posted March 15, 2015 Seems I'm the one of the few on the interbutts that think Frieza's new form fits. his past form was called FINAL form for a reason, this is his form from training and becoming on the level of Goku..basically its not a real 'transformation' but is more like a power up. People I've talked to are butthurt cause he didn't change his appearance that much. I look at 'gold frieza' as his SSJG power up. 2 Firaga and Reyn reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted March 26, 2015 Two new trailers came out for the movie. The first (fourth overall) is some kind of ad for an entertainment system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_R2koav-qmQ The second (fifth overall) shows more new footage from the movie, including the Z Warriors fighting Frieza's army and the appearance of Jaco:
Firaga 5,947 Posted March 28, 2015 A recent video for the Japanese arcade game DragonBall Heroes released, teasing that Goku (in his attire from Resurrection "F") will possibly receive a new transformation which will be added to the game as DLC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cDI6GbfxF0 There is no word about what this form is, but many have speculated that it's connected to the movie and will be a form that Goku will use in the movie as well. Reyn 1,755 Posted April 5, 2015 I found this a little while ago: http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/188788/20150401/dragon-ball-z-revival-of-f-goku-and-vegeta-new-saiyan-form.htm I was hesitant about posting due to when it was posted (April Fools) and some of the content, (a certain mention of SSJ4 made me question it), but i figured i'd leave this here in the super off chance that it turns out being true. This link supposedly showcases Goku's New Transformation that he's supposed to undergo in RoF.

Firaga 5,947 Posted April 5, 2015 I have no idea why this website would think SSJ4 Broly would be a thing in a new movie. Also, I find it funny how the figure pack is half Resurrection "F" promotion, half "whatever other characters we feel like putting in it.". 1 Reyn reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted April 9, 2015 So, uh, the cat's pretty much out of the bag for this piece of information, so I might as well inform everybody outright. So in the movie, Goku will receive a new transformation where his hair will spike up and turn blue, similar to the original Super Saiyan design, which makes sense because the form is described as a Super Saiyan form with the power of a Super Saiyan God. The form is notable because it follows along with the theme of fire presented in the original Super Saiyan God form. The transition from red to blue is basically the act of fire turning hotter, and of course when fire is super hot, it takes on the color of a lightish blue. The aura, as shown in the pictures, follows this theme as well. Even so, people are making stupid jokes about it. Arg. 1 Reyn reacted to this

Firaga 5,947 Posted April 9, 2015 You said it was already confirmed though. The form is confirmed, that doesn't mean that Vegeta won't still have a prominent role in the movie, especially when the figure pack showed both Goku AND Vegeta in the new form. 1 Reyn reacted to this

If Goku's getting the same exact form, then we know that he'll be the one saving the day, and not Vegeta. That's how it always is with the series. If Vegeta's not getting his own thing, it's obvious he won't be doing anything big.

Shulk 8,623 Posted April 9, 2015 Again, you're jumping to conclusions. Again, there's plenty of evidence to show that Vegeta's going to end up in the same position he had back in Battle of Gods: He might get one battle with Frieza that starts out well, then gets tossed to the side and Goku has to save him. As usual.

And what's Vegeta doing in the trailers? Standing there like a coward the entire time. He doesn't get a single fighting scene. If he was going to do anything big, then we'd have seen him battle Frieza by now. Also, I want a source for this figure pack thing. I haven't heard about it at all. No, he's not. All he did was confront Goku after he was beaten up by Frieza, and his expression wasn't anything except sure or matter-or-fact (or maybe he was secretly laughing at Goku for looking like a loser). Also, just because Vegeta's fight with Frieza hasn't been shown, doesn't mean its not going to happen. Not EVERY single piece of info. from the movie is going to be shown. There has to be some feeling of not knowing or anticipation. Spider literally posted the link on the last page.

Something that's significantly not Vegeta-like. And either way, we're still not seeing him do ANYTHING in these trailers aside from stand there. Even ROSHI'S done more. That's just sad. Again: Seeing NOTHING from Vegeta is a very, very good sign that he's not getting any sort of special treatment during this movie, as usual. I'm highly doubting he'll get any sort of spotlight at this point. If Toriyama hadn't said back when the movie was announced "I'm thinking about letting Vegeta be the main character this time," this wouldn't be nearly as disappointing as it is now. ... You're... You're using kpopstarz, the source that I just told Spider is FAMOUS for posting fake, clickbait news articles, as a credible source that Vegeta's getting a new form...? I... I really don't know what to say to that. Also, if that figure set is correct with Vegeta getting a new form, we might as well say Broly will show up with a new form too, considering he also has a figure there.
