How come there are barely any glitches in the kingdom hearts series?

I don't know what version of KHFM HD you were playing, but it never crashed for me, never did that infinite dodge roll and over all was an excellent port. Ever consider that you just had a bad disc? Because it does happen on occasion.

 

As for glitches in the rest of the series, yes there has been several, but they are usually fixed by their Final Mix versions, or a patch, as was the case of Dream Drop Distance. One minor glitch in KH2 was where Wisdom Form had the sleeve decals of Master Form instead of it's own. Unlike Kairi's panties, that was clearly a texture glitch.

 

I had also heard reports about a glitch with BBS FM, but haven't discovered anything else concerning it.

It never crashed on me but it's infamous for crashing after the Agrabah fight where you have to save Aladdin (I think that is the one.) It is a really bad port. It may have not crashed for you but it has to many many others. It has probably the most glitches for any KH game. Just ask the speedrunners Kappa

 

You are right. They do get fixed by patches or the FM version but some glitches still exist. The Roxas RC glitch in 2Fm is one. Where you use either Fire or Magnet when is trying to do his RC. A lot of the glitches in KH are relly stupid and worthless unfortunately. KH2 also has a lot of softlocks.

you personally being lucky enough to not encounter issues doesn't make the port good, it makes you lucky. KH1.5 has a fair few known glitches, specifically in the KH1 portion. In addition to crashing, there's also a glitch on some versions where none of the voice acting plays in KH1

There are oslo programming oversights, like mapping the action commands to the triangle button bu also keeping triangle as the button that maeks Donald and Goofy attack, making it impossible to perfect the Pink Agaricus

I have never heard about this port crashing, and having played both the Japanese version and English versions, I found no serious issues that make it a bad port. Yes, there are glitches and mapping overlays, but considering problems with other ports, such as the Silent Hill HD Collection and The Zone of Enders HD Collection, both of which had to be patched extensively upon release, these problems don't make it a bad port. Those are examples of bad ports, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix HD may have some issues, but none of them make the game a terrible port. And I've heard far more people agree that it was a great port rather than that it was a terrible one, so have you considered that maybe it's not that I'm lucky, but that you were unlucky? Same with this Kappa person?

 

Also, I have seen people perfect Pink Agaricus on HD, I have even done it. It's very easy to do so, actually. Since Goofy and Donald's AI is not that great in the first game, if you summon Bambi at the base of the tree, then keep him there while you get rid of the White Mushrooms, it's very easy to make sure they get stuck there when the Pink Agaricus appears. Even still, that hardly makes it a bad port

Every single kingdom hearts game I have played through seem to glitch-less maybe except for days and 358/2 days (I didn't even see any glitches in those two games either). 

Oh trust me there are quite the number of glitches but they're less apparent in previous entries than the new ones

 

DDD had a glitch that can soft lock your game by not respawing the dream eater that you need to do a soul link with to go to the final boss

 

Also a glitch with the Anti-Black coat where he freezes in place and his model completely disappears....you can hit him and beat him while he's stuck
