Kairi's Letter (Jap/Eng)

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd leave both versions here, because I have nothing better to do.

Unnoficial Translation (by me)

To you, who's somewhere among the worlds.

For all sorrow to disappear,

And all Hearts to be connected,

I will step forward to realize these wishes

that can't come true with only thoughts.

Starting a new journey may not be so hard

or maybe it has already begun.

In the many worlds connected by the sky,

I believe we will arrive at the same place.

Official Translation

Thinking of you, wherever you are.

We pray for our sorrows to end,

and hope that our hearts will blend.

Now I will step forward to realize this wish.

And who knows:

Starting a new journey may not be so hard

or maybe it has alresdy begun.

There are many worlds, but they share the same sky

one sky, one destiny."

I really like both, the first was more about the journey that is to come, and taking action.... But on the other-hand the line "There are many worlds, but they share the same sky one sky, one destiny." Well... I grew up with that line...

I love the first one so much! Why couldn't they use that translation, although I still love the second one, but the first is much better in my opinion.

Glad you like it.

I also think the last line is much more poetic in the Official Translation.
