AxiriDeschain 0 Posted July 28, 2010 This is a question that has probably been asked before, but if there were enough Keyblade bearers for a war that decimated an entire world then why have we seen so few of them? To my current knowledge there are less than a dozen (Not including Xion and Roxas) In BBS Vanitas plans on "Allowing other Keyblade wielders to gather here and re-start the Keyblade Wars" so that means that there ARE more of them. -Sora -Riku -Kairi -Mickey -Ventus -Terra -Aqua -Master Xehanort -Vanitas -Master Eraqus -Yen Sid Anyone have a theory behind why this is? Keyblader 325 Posted July 28, 2010 threads like this but to answer your question, remember in kh1, that fairy tale kairi's grandmother was telling kairi, that dipicts the events of the keyblade wars there were people fighting to take a hold of the llight (kingdom hearts), and people fighting to protect it, and in the end, all those people were destroyed by the darkness as well as the world (apparently there was just one big world at the time), but of course as the fairy tale says, the worlds were restored by the children, and thats basically why you dont see very many keyblade weilders
AxiriDeschain 0 Posted July 28, 2010 That story appears in Birth By Sleep so yeah, I remember it. I was curious as to why all the characters in Birth By Sleep acted like there was a great number of Keyblade wielders out there that hadn't been a part of the Keyblade War. I understand that the participants of the War were obliterated, but the sheer number that must have existed before suggests that there should be more than we've seen. They can't have ALL vanished can they?

AxiriDeschain 0 Posted July 28, 2010 I was thinking more along the lines of immature Keyblade wielders that hadn't participated in the War because they lacked the power to substantially contribute. I'm already more or less sure that Xehanort was either a survivor of the War or he simply stood on the sidelines because he knew how everything would play out. He says numerous times that he has waited countless years for the chance he gets in Birth By Sleep.

Reversal 53 Posted July 28, 2010 The Realm of Light isn't just limited to just the few worlds we've seen in the series thus far. There are most likely more wielders scattered across the far corners of the realm, but the fact that neither TAV, Sora nor Roxas has ever visited these worlds prevents us from realizing their existence. how yen sid hav a keyblade It's hinted at in BBS. Eraqus says that he and Yen Sid are old friends. Yen Sid trained Mickey in magic and Keyblade wielding. There is a third throne in the Land of Departure, two of which belong to Eraqus and Xehanort. Like they explain, when you become a Master, you can choose to either take control of the place as Eraqus did, or leave and be out and about like Xehanort. So chances are Yen Sid was their Master at the time, so when Eraqus took over, he just went to his little tower in nowhere.
