Can I just say how annoyingly cold it is in the US and probably Canada too?

Recommended Posts

Thank firetruck it's not just me. I got long curly hair and the past couple days its just been insane. Everytime you put a shirt over your head its like your hair becomes magnetically attracted to every goddamn thing. It seems the worst of that is over now because I haven't had it today but damn it was annoying.

I definitely know dat feel. It sucks cuz I go to school in the mornings on Wednesdays and Fridays and then I go to work right after. So I go to school in normal clothes and then go to the bathrooms at the school and change into my work scrubs. So putting on scrubs in cramped bathroom stalls when I have semi-long hair, does not equal a fun time. My hair completely sticks to my head and then my scrub bottoms stick to my hairy ass legs.

YEEEEEEEEEEEE BOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're trying to say that California is always hot, I beg to damn differ.

My area doesn't get snow, but its been freezing as hell for the past... I don't even know how long its been! Plus it rains. Constantly.

This sucks. I want animal crackers...

I shoulda specified Southern California; it's seriously a pleasant mid-70s today where I live, and it's even warm enough to warrant turning the AC on in my car. And it hasn't rained in like two weeks. (Actually, there's a serious drought been going on for the past several years- we could really use the rain!)

Oh, Southern California. That makes sense. I'm here in the Central Valley area. We always get the full brunt of the winter season. :/

And I still want my damn animal crackers...

So firetrucking cold...

Damn you Europe, always complaining about climate change and global warming. Well, in ur face. Just come over and tell me where your "warming" is??

It's even cold in the South! I went to see my friend in Tallahassee on the weekend and it's cold even here!

The world is getting warmer, but its also getting colder. Climate change talks about when the earths climate, well, changes. One of the biggest concerns are weather becoming more extreme and destructive. Summer is hotter, Winter is colder. So basically, this does fit climate change. Global Warming also has evidence since the earth is getting warmer, but Global Warming doesn't only really talk about the earths rising temperature so it doesn't really match the name "Global Warming".

Aren't they also suffering from other shit like tornadoes and earthquakes or whatnot?

Well that would be because of all the snow. Haha.

Quite hot here.

Its not snowing though, it rains where I live.

Earthquakes, yes, all the time- they're usually so small and harmless that we never even notice. Not a lot of tornadoes, though, at least not around the Los Angeles area.

Also worth noting that at any given time, at least 5% of Southern California is on fire; wildfires are almost constantly raging down here, due to the aforementioned drought. So we're never too cold. :P
