Roleplay Akame ga Kill! Fresh Blood [CANCELLED]

Recommended Posts

Harmony looked at the scene in front of her with a blank stare. I thought I've seen worse, but this is definitely the weirdest moment I had in my life. The annoyed girl cleared her throat loudly to get everyone's attention. "Umm. . . Shouldn't we get back on the tour around the base and finish meeting the members?" Harmony asked.

Verona just continued to watch the interactions between the members of the night raid. Verona also just realized that she had ignored Kotetsu's comment and decided to make a small reply to him.  "I can handle myself is anything were to happen, why dont you worry about yourself." Verona somewhat teased as she suggested in leone's direction. Verona was actually teasing with Kotetsu for some reason, maybe because of his persistence, in trying to communicate with her, but she lightened up a bit.

"O-oh, uh, I can handle myself." Kotetsu said nervously. "She seems more interested in Tatsumi and blue-hair over there, anyway." He pointed out, partially to calm himself down. "That guy, on the other hand, seems to be more of a problem." He said. Aw, crap... Between that girl who tried to eat my hand, and this girl staring at me... I get a feeling things are going to get rough around here.

Lubbock / Leone / Seelo

Leone continued to hold Tatsumi in place and grin at him while Elektra suddenly went up to Lubbock and hugged him tightly. "Oh, uh, thanks I guess..." Lubbock said as Elektra's grip got tighter. "Whoa there, heh, you got a strong grip. Mind loosening up a bit?" Lubbock asked nervously, but felt the grip loosen as Elektra pulled Lucifer into his grasp as well; for some odd reason, Lucifer gave Lubbock a weird grin too. What's up with his guy? Is he getting a kick out of this little girl's hug? Well then... Lubbock said, looking away. He may be lecherous, but he was not that lecherous.

Meanwhile, Harmony's question did not fall on deaf ears. Leone let go of Tatsumi finally and had everybody follow her back inside once more, leaving Lubbock and Tatsumi to train more.

"Now then, the rest of our little group should be in the main meeting room," Leone said, leading the new assassins to a place with a long table in the middle and a throne-looking chair on the far end. A girl with long pink hair tied up in pigtails, was sitting on one of the chairs at the table.

"Ah, here's one now! Everybody say hello to Mine!" Leone said, making the girl look up from her book and gaze upon the gaggle of new faces. "Are you holding up from your injuries?"

Mine

"I'm fine" said the girl with pink hair, Mine. "So these are the newbies, huh? They don't look like much," she said.

"Maybe not now, but after our little 'process', they could turn out to be better than we first think," Leone reasoned.

"Yeah, or they could shrivel up and turn out to be lamer than Tatsumi. Imagine that!" Mine snorted, laughing to herself.

Well now... this lady's nastier than a snake bite. Seelo thought. My momma wouldn't tolerate behavior like that, no sir. She'd tell her to act like a lady. Then again, considering some of these other girls, that advice might as well have fallen on deaf ears... he thought once more, reminding him of the "uniqueness" that lied in Leone, Akame, Harmony, and Elektra.

“(Process?)” Elektra thought. What kind of process could they be talking about? Maybe the suspicion that it wasn’t as easily to join this Night Raid could be close to the spot. Mine stood out, at least for Elektra. She carried an aura of pride and the fact that she was pink from head to toe made her stand out in contrast of the shadows of the base. Now that she noticed, most of the members they’ve met have had at least one notable bright color. Lubbock with green, Leone with golden… “(We’re like a rainbow!)” With that aside, Elektra went ahead and took a step forward, raising her hand as she once again introduced herself, this time to Mine. “I’m Elektra Basilia. Nice to meet you, Mine. I like your hair. It reminds me of roses from a garden.”

Huh... I don't think I like her that much. Kotetsu sighed. "I wouldn't underestimate us before you've seen us fight, Mine. I've been a member of the Revolution Army for a few years now, and I definitely know how to fight." He told her, quickly unsheathing his katana. "I'd gladly prove it if I have to." He smirked confidently, trying to impress Mine. He could tell that would be difficult, but if he wanted to be respected, he knew he'd need to show his skills to the other members of Night Raid. "And, uh... What process, Leone?" He asked curiously, becoming a little nervous.

Lucifer stared with a slight deadpan expression towards Mine. You're absolutely covered in pink. It's burning my eyes, the boy moaned internally. By this point, he was rather tired of the constant strangeness that came from their group, so he simply muttered, "Hey. Lucifer. I'll see you after I train a bit." in reply to her cold greeting.

Where are the beds? I just want to sleep right now, Lucifer yawned to himself.

Elektra looked over at Kotetsu, watching him make his point about not underestimating any of the new members just yet. A point she agreed on. So far they’ve been welcomed, introduced, the members have been nice. Well, at least most of them have been nice. But it couldn’t possibly be that easy, to be assigned to a specialized squad, of assassination out of all branches, and just be welcomed as easily. There simply had to be something more. Much to be hinted with Leone’s mention of a ‘process’, to which Kotetsu questioned about too. “(We can’t possibly spend all day introducing to each other and be called members. What is this process? I want to know!)” Elektra thought. Being left in the blue of what this was left her a bit uncomfortable. It wasn’t nice to not know, especially when in the home base of assassins. Even Lucifer seemed a bit sleepy. She also had to make note, that she didn’t think much of it at first, of Mine’s attitude. Maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?  “I wish to know as well,” Elektra said. “About what you mean of process?”

Glad to be moving on with the tour of Night Raid's base, Harmony walked along with the group into the main meeting room. She noticed a girl with pink pigtails who goes by the name Mine who has a bit of an attitude problem. Does this girl want to be noticed while going up against her opponents? Her skills better make up for her terrible blending skills. Harmony made a questionable look when she heard about a 'process.' "So this 'process' happens to be an evaluation test?" Harmony thought out loud.

(Just to clarify, FinalKeyblade has been kicked, so all actions/interactions from his character will unfortunately be forgotton. Our cast now consists of Kotetsu (Shulk), Harmony (Xamtweth), Lucifer (Soul), Elektra (Stardust), and Seelo (me).)

Mine / Leone

Mine mostly ignored the greetings she received from the "newbies", as she called them, rolling her eyes and averting her gaze from them. She was not interested in them as she was too busy contemplating both her injuries and a particular event that occurred not too long ago. Because of this event, she wasn't ready to trust the abilities of her new comrades either. Shown in how she once teased Tatsumi when he was the newest member, the new crop had to prove themselves first before Mine even considered them worthy of being at the HQ.

Leone, meanwhile, was going to elaborate more on the "process" she had mentioned earlier, when suddenly, a new voice broke through.

"The 'process' will be your first test, to show that we did not make a mistake in allowing you to join Night Raid," the voice said from the other end of the hall, where a silver haired woman in a black outfit and a green mechanical right arm sat nonchalantly on a big chair.

"Oh, Boss! Didn't you see you there!" Leone called. "Everyone, this the leader of Night Raid: Miss Najenda!"

Najenda

"Thank you, Leone. Now then, once we have everyone gathered, I'll debrief on what you all need to know," Najenda said.

Moments later, the entirety of Night Raid, including the new assassinations, gathered around Najenda's chair. The official members stood around the newcomers, all of them standing lined up in front of Najenda.

"Now then... you have all been selected to join Night Raid. However, there is, what we call, a 'process' you must go through first... this 'process' will be a series of exercises and missions that you will undertake to prove just how worthy you are of being called a new member of our group, sort of like a boot camp if you should put it into simpler terms. Now you may be wondering why we are doing this... but after all, you may have been put in with a good word by the Revolutionary Army, but we have yet to see just how capable you really are," Najenda finished, her purple eyes locked tightly on the young men and women before her.

Lucifer stared at their leader, unfazed. "I'm prepared to destroy the Imperial City if that's what it takes. Exercises and missions won't be much of a problem." Inwardly, he was a bit unsure of himself. Working as a freelance assassin gave him street smarts, but his actual fighting experience was limited, not to mention his his only weapon being a pickaxe. If only I had a trump card like these guys, he sighed.

Elektra looked up at their new 'boss', as she spoke about what they would be going through in order to become official members of the Night Raid. "(It's sort of an entry test then. To see who can live through it and who can't. Interesting. Can lower the numbers, but at the same time it can just prove that everyone's qualified.)" Elektra thought. Her weapon was a battleaxe that was strapped to her back and was almost bigger than her own stature. Other than that her small stature allowed her to easily sneak and have light feet, sometimes not making a single sound as she walked if she was careful enough. But she also knew that due to such small stature she can easily be overpowered if not careful. But there was one thing that will always remain with her that could most likely help her out. She was apathetic, her sense of right and wrong skewed. Not a single tear was shed when she saw her parents' heads smashed in in the floor. She didn't really felt sorry in hurting anyone either. She would say sorry, but out of habit in order to keep people from getting angry. But truthfully she had still yet to learn to feel as such. Lastly she could feel no pain, no heat, no cold. Not knowing what that is granted her the ability to mess with people even when they screamed they were in pain. Elektra would never know what pain is to begin with. She smiled. "Well then. I'm more than ready to take orders!" Elektra said, before adding more of her blunt comments. "May I add you remind me of a pirate! You wear and eyepatch and you're missing a limb, much like a pirate with an eyepatch and missing a leg or a hand!"

Kotetsu was surprised by the sudden entry of Night Raid's leader, Najenda. He quietly listened to her orders, and took some time to think about her before responding. So, this is the famous Najenda everyone in the Revolution Army was talking about... They were right. She is really intimidating... And kinda masculine. He didn't dare speak that out loud, fearing what might happen if he mentioned that Najenda looked kind of like a man. Instead, he gave his response. "I'm ready for anything, Miss Najenda. I swear that I won't be a disappointment to you and the other members of Night Raid." He announced, acting more tough than he usually did. He was avoiding pulling his usual somewhat sarcastic act for two reasons: He wanted to prove how serious he was about his job to the other members, and Najenda was starting to scare him a little.

Elektra glanced at the official Night Raid members around her. Each one of them were the talk of the revolutionary army, usually. She'd heard the name of the woman in front of her in whispers. Usually a shiver followed by any comments. Regardless she did remind Elektra of a pirate, she had to admit, she was very, very pretty. Her purple eyes were sharp, yet had a twinkle to them, from what Elektra could see. It was the same for Tatsumi. He did seemed to be a happy go lucky one. But paying attention back to Najenda, she couldn't keep her eyes off her mechanical arm. It was the strangest thing she had ever seen, so far that is. It looked heavy, but considering she was carrying it meant it was either lightweight or she was much stronger than she showed to be. She really wanted to touch it, just hold it for a moment and find out how heavy it really was. But she paused herself, already extending her hand half way towards the arm. It would be rude to touch it without asking for permission. Not only that, everyone was watching. As much as her curiosity wanted to show, she needed to be patient. Good things come for those who wait. But then again, she'd been waiting for ten years, hasn't she? "Let us prove ourselves then." Elektra muttered, clasping her hands together to keep herself from reaching out again. "If some don't survive the process, it would only mean less competition along the way."

Julia stood at attention when Najenda walked into the room. She gave a salute, and moved it away from her forehead after her words. "Ma'am, I am ready to perform any test you have for me." Julia said in her standard stately and formal manner, still standing at attention. She hadn't been too terribly impressed with the other recruits, but she was very willing to give them their due. They were here as well. The other official members of Night Raid were interesting as well, but she could tell they were hardened warriors, and lightyears beyond her and the other recruits.

(Gotta ignore that last line, Stardust. I don't want tensions to rise in the group... yet.)

Najenda / Leone / Seelo

Najenda chuckled to herself, while the other Night Raid members looked impressed, sans Mine.

"That's the spirit. Now let's hope you can carry those words into the future. Although..." Najenda then set her sights on Seelo, who was again staying silent and trying to avoid eye contact.

"You there, with the straw in his mouth," Najenda called, causing Seelo to snap to attention. "All of your teammates here have spoken up except for you."

"Come to think of it, I haven't heard a peep out of you since you got here. You must be the shy type, huh?" Leone said aloud from the side.

"Is that so? What's your name, boy?" Najenda asked.

"... My name... my name is Seelo. Seelo Aagri," Seelo spoke, albiet in a small, almost frightened voice.

"Seelo, huh? Well then, Seelo, are you determined? Or maybe you'd like to turn back, which is fine... not everybody has the stomach to do what we do."

Seelo grew nervous at Najenda's words, as well as from the pairs of eyes that were staring at him. It made him realize that he had indeed been nothing but quiet and nervous since he stepped foot at Night Raid's HQ. He could tell from everybody, maybe even his fellow trainees, that his credentials of being a competent assassin were being questioned. But after all, the country boy was being exposed to so many new things at once, some of which even scared him, and made him think that maybe he was making a mistake.

But then Seelo thought of his mom and dad. And of the Empire. And everything else that had happened to him in the past...

Seelo swallowed a bale in his throat and straightened up. "Ma'am, I am determined! I'm ready to go to Hell and back if that's what it takes to be a part of Night Raid. I promise you that I'll give nothin' but one hundred percent, and I'll be damned if I give even so much of a fraction less!"

Najenda's smile returned, as well as the others' impressed looks. Even Mine couldn't help but take notice.

"Glad to hear it. I'll be keeping my eye on you, Seelo," Najenda said. Seelo smiled back, fully installing his confidence in himself.

"Now that we've gotten the introductions out of the way, its time to rest. We start tomorrow morning," Najenda said. "Leone, lead them to their sleeping quarters."

"You got it, Boss!" Leone said, leading the troop outside once more.

"Here's where you guys'll be staying! Ain't it great?!" Leone said when the group reached their destination, waving her hand in front of a shack set nearby the forest surrounding HQ. The shack was noticeably old, dusty, and possibly on the verge of falling apart, but Leone's chipperness made it sound like they were going to be staying in a five star hotel.

Despite having spent the past few years of his life in the Revolution Army, this shack was nothing new to Kotetsu. In fact, it kind of reminded of where he stayed back when he was an orphan. "Well, as long as it's got space for all of us, I don't mind." He said, sounding more upbeat than he probably should have been. "Staying in a place like this is nothing new to me, anyway." He walked closer to the shack, inspecting it. Yeah... It's smaller, but it definitely reminds me of that run-down shack we found back in the day. Heh, I don't mind this at all... He reminisced for a while, before remembering exactly why he'd come here in the first place. Of course... This time, I won't be sharing it with her. It'll be all of these people I just met. I've got to be the one to keep everyone in line this time, I can't just be the follower again.

Elektra needed a few minutes to comprehend the building in front of her. It was a shack. Seemed rather small, but big enough to hold them all in...hopefully. The shack seemed like something that people would have in their backyards solely for the purpouse of storing tools and equipment. Much like a gardener or a hunter would have for their own causes. They would be sleeping in there? "(How dreadful.)" Elektra couldn't help but to think. She was still used to beds over tents. Hopefully there would be beds inside? The shack seemed so small though. She doubted it. "How...wonderful." Elektra said, despite Leone's cheerfulness about it, Elektra kind of hoped that the shack would fall over them in an excuse to be allowed to sleep inside. Hearing Kotetsu's comment didn't really made the situation any better for Elektra, but she digressed. "Is it often that you've had to sleep in such conditions, Kotetsu?" Elektra asked, hoping she had gotten the name right.

"Yeah. Before I joined the Revolution Army, I grew up on the streets. I had a few different places I'd stay at, and I probably stayed at somewhere like this at some point." Kotetsu explained to Elektra. "Run down places like this aren't so bad when you get used to them. I'm not used to sharing one with so many people, though..." He confessed his only concern.

"If you feel these accommodations fitting ma'am, I suppose they will have to do." Julia said, her eyes not leaving the shed. She took a few steps closer, and walked around it a bit. "It will need a bit of work, but nothing that would be too terribly difficult to fix with a couple of days' worth of work. Are there any tools available to us Miss Leone?" Julia asked as she continued to survey the rather rundown shack. Construction and repair was most definitely not her specialty, but, she had done a little bit here and there. She glanced back to the others. They didn't seem happy, but they were willing. Julia nodded. She definitely felt the same.

Lucifer smiled at the shack, taking in the mustiness. Stretching his arms out wide, he sighed with a content grin. "What a wonderful training ground. Reminds me of my days as an assassin." Inwardly, he smiled to himself. So we got the generic guy and the shy guy. The only two females then are that kid, which is boring, and that wonderfully strict woman.  If we're in a shack, we'll have to share rooms! Snapping back to reality, he pretended to inspect the area, planning the potential pranks that could occur.

Seelo / Leone

This is where we gotta sleep? I mean, I never expected any fancy, rich-folk-type treatment, but damn! ... Ah, too late to complain now. I already said I'd go through Hell and back to be in Night Raid. I guess this is step number one on that path to Hell, Seelo thought, swishing his straw back and forth.

Upon Julia's remarks about the shack, Seelo couldn't help but chuckle at her overly assurance of being able to fix up the shack in a manner of two days. As somebody who actually knew his way around fixing all sorts of things, it was kind of too simplistic to him. He went over to Julia and spoke up before Leone could answer her question about tools.

"Uh, pardon me, 'lil lady, but this hunk of junk is gonna need more than two days for it get into good shape. Trust me, I know a thang or two about fixin' thangs, so--"

"Oh, is that so?" Leone interrupted, suddenly appearing behind Seelo, startling the young country boy. "If that's true, then I'll make sure you get up earlier than everybody else to start working on this 'hunk of junk' before your first training session," she said sweetly.

"What?! Ma'am, with all due respect--" Seelo started.

"Ooooor, maybe instead, you and I can just have some fun in the morning?" Leone interrupted, suddenly pulling into Seelo with her arm and holding her against her chest like she did to Tatsumi before. "I can tell that I can have a lot of fun with you especially..." Leone said, whispering into Seelo's ear.

"Uh, uh..." Seelo gulped. "N-no, ma'am, that's fine. I-I'll get to work bright and early."

"Alright then. You'll get your tools tomorrow. Bye everybody!" Leone said, letting go of Seelo and waving to the rest as she walked back to HQ.

"Well... I guess that's what I get for forgettin' my manners..." Seelo said somewhat aloud, looking down at the ground and scratching the back of his head.

Elektra’s eyes narrowed. “(It happened again!)” She thought. There was something she wasn’t getting and it was starting to annoy her: why were boys usually flustered after being hugged into Leone’s boobs? “(I have to make sure it happens to me next time, otherwise I won’t be able to discover why.)” And like that it was settled for her. However that would have to come around in due time. Right now they had to sleep in a poor excuse of a shack and tomorrow they had to start their boot camp training. If the shack was fixed in the morning, however, she would have to thank them properly…maybe she would even be able to help! Without much complaint, or a word, she turned on her heels and marched over to the shack. With a slight push of the hand, she opened the door, only to almost have it fall off its hinges as one of the rusty screws snapped, Elektra quickly pushing the door back and letting it go when she was sure it wouldn’t fall on her. The shack wasn’t exactly the biggest either, and there were dust and surely a few spider webs in the crooks and corners. “How…darling.” Elektra muttered under her breath, obvious sarcasm in her voice. “I…call dibs on that corner.” Elektra said with a hiss, pointing at the furthest corner of the shack as she walked in.

Kotetsu shuddered as he watched Leone attempt to seduce Seelo. I suddenly feel glad I only had to deal with nearly having my hand bitten off. He thought to himself as he watched the event. He quickly shook his head, and approached the shack, only to see the door fall off its hinges as Elektra opened it. "Well... At least that shouldn't take long to fix. At least I don't think it would..." He muttered.

Lucifer groaned at Leone's incessant flirting. "Why couldn't I be him?" The teen groused, settling for a corner opposite of Elektra. The dry, rusty atmosphere elicited nostalgia as he stared around the room. "This is just like the assassination mission in Ha'akame Village...." Pulling out his pickaxe, he tossed it into the air, catching it by the handle as it fell down. "Anyone want to hear an assassination story? I have time. You guys will love it."
