Elektra was about to yell out for poor Kotetsu, but she had her own problems to take care off. She barely dodged one blast as she began to jump side to side dodging the rest. “H-Hang on! How come Kotetsu had it easy?!” Elektra asked as she dodged for dear life. She knew she couldn’t keep at it forever. Yet how was she supposed to activate it?! “(Dammit! You stupid thing! It’s not like there’s a magic word for it or something?!)” Elektra thought as she threw herself to the ground, dodging yet another blast. She stood up, feeling the necklace around her neck. It was strange. She knew it was a weapon, something that was meant to be technically dead and without life yet…it felt as if she was carrying a second heart beat at the same time. “(An Imperial Arm is meant to cooperate with its wielder, right? Because without each other there’s no choice but dying in the end. So technically we’re partners. So the least you can do is to cooperate?! If I trust you, you have to trust me back?!)” Elektra thought. She faced at Mine, watching the upcoming blast heading straight up to her. “Protect us. Inverted Armor: Osseus!” Elektra yelled, the eyes of the skull gleaming as the blast hit her straight on, dust and smoke covering the area. As it slowly began to fade away, one could hear what could only be related to bones cracking. There stood Elektra, a bunch of huge bones in the form of ribcages right in front of her. Slowly they retreated to reveal an unharmed Elektra, who simply blinked curiously. “…It worked. MISS MINE, KOTETSU, SEELO, LOOK, IT WORKED, IT WORKED!” Elektra gasped. However more shots were coming over. The armor was quick to do its work along with Elektra. Elektra jumped back, dodging again, and just when she was about to lose her balance, the armor extended, the ribs slamming down against the ground beneath before lifting her up, much like if she had extra limbs. “Oh!” Elektra gasped as the ribs dashed off, much like legs, jumping and running across as they dodged the blasts…before hiding right behind Seelo in case Mine continued to shoot.

Mine ceased firing and immediately face palmed at what she saw before her, letting out a groan at the same time.

 

"Uh... well I think you did pretty good, lil' darlin'," Seelo said, ruffling the small girl's hair in comfort.

 

"Hardly, Farmboy. She's gonna need some practice... a looot of practice..." she then held Pumpkin in both her hands once again. "Now then, get up here, you're last!" She commanded Seelo.

 

"Uh, y-yes ma'am," He said, turning his attention away from Elektra and walking towards his superior.

 

Seelo put up his dukes, settling into a typical boxers stance, not knowing what else to really do. "A-are you sure I'm fit to do this? I mean, Kotetsu and Elektra got Arms that're a bit more suited for this. I just got some up-close ty-"

 

"Shut it!" Mine said, firing her blasts.

 

Aw, Hell! Seelo cursed in this thoughts, steeling himself for the oncoming barrage. Instinctively, he held his ground, and summoning some form of concentration inside him, he maneuvered through the blasts as if he was dodging punches from a rival boxer. It seemed very strange from a distance, but it worked. 

 

"Hmm... pretty good... but how long can you last" Mine said, firing even more blasts from Pumpkin, more than she gave Kotetsu or Elektra.

 

Seelo tightened up, but continued to dodge the blasts, moving from side to side, ducking, bobbing and weaving as much as he could.

 

T-this is gettin' me nowhere... I'm gonna tired out soon, and she's gonna get my goat... unless... Seelo then remembered that part of Thermal Searing: Cybelle's abilities was to charge his fists full of heat. He decided to test it out.

 

After dodging a barrage of more blasts, he let one travel straight towards him. And then, loading his right fist, he felt the energy surge, starting at his knuckles and then wrapping around his entire hand. He launched a right jab, punching the blast and making it dissipate from thin air. Seelo was impressed with himself.

 

"Ha! That was nice!" Seelo said, examining his gauntlets. "Man, if I can do that-"

 

BLZZ!

 

"AHH!"

 

Due to lowering his guard and relaxing himself, Mine took the advantage before her and shot Seelo in the forehead, just as she did Kotetsu before him. The impact sent Seelo back at least three feet as he landed square on his back, both damaged and dizzy.

 

"Uhhhh, I'm comin', Aunt Jessie... I just gotta feed the pigs..." He mumbled to himself on the ground.

 

"Ugh..." Mine put Pumpkin back in its holster. "Yep. Lots and lots of work..."

Kotetsu was also a little dizzy from the blast. Thankfully, it didn't seem to be full-powered. "I-I guess I should have been more careful..." He muttered, and slowly got back up to his feet. He was happy to see that the other two were adjusting to their new weapons as well, even if Seelo had ended up getting blasted like he did. "I'll put in whatever work I need to, ma'am." He informed Mine, trying to remain professional-sounding. "Thank you for helping us practice with our Imperial Arms."

Elektra lowered herself back to the ground, the ribs returning to their default size as she watched Seelo activate his imperial Arm and much like Kotetsu, get smacked in the head by one of the beams. Once fire appeared to seize, she walked closer to Mine and the rest, agreeing with Kotetsu's statement. "But then lots of training means lots of fun! If this is just day one of having Imperial Arm thingies, I can't wait for the rest!" Elektra chimed. Though it would be easier said than done. "So what's next? Some cool exercise? Or some awesome mission where we can use our new weapons?!"

"Calm down! We still have a lot of work to do, don't get too confident," Mine said.

 

"Youuuuu got it, ma'aaam..." Seelo said, picking himself off the ground and walking almost drunkenly towards the others. "We'll do our veeeery best..." He added, putting up his hand for a salute. "Yesssssssiree..." However, his balance failed him as he slowly fell forward onto his face, seemingly passed out.

 

"... Ugh..." Mine growled as she grasped the bridge of her nose. "Looks like next exercise is durability"...

Over the next few days, the Fresh Bloods continued to train with their Imperial Arms. While showing obvious flaws in their first exercise, they began to grow more accustomed to their weapons with new each new trial. They became proficient enough that they were able to train with not only Mine, but then later Tatsumi, Lubbock, Leone, and even Akame. All three of them still had a lot to learn, but for now, they were still pretty powerful.

 

However, one day, the entire Night Raid was put on notice when it was reported by Leone and Lubbock that earlier that day, at a local tournament in town, Tatusmi had been taken in by General Esdeath, a high ranking general in the Empire.

 

Najenda was not present as she was busy delivering the Imperial Arms confiscated from the Three Beasts that Tatsumi and Bulat fought against before the latter was eliminated. With her absence, Akame acted as the de facto leader. All members, including the Fresh Bloods, met in a conference shortly after Leone and Lubbock's report.

 

"Did she find out that Tatsumi was a member of Night Raid?" Mine asked.

 

"I'm not too sure. I didn't sense any bloodlust from her... it's at least a 50/50 chance, though. At best," Lubbock said.

 

"When it happened, we saw her drag him into the palace. What's the plan, boss?" Leone asked Akame.

 

"Don't go saying we should lead an assualt and rescue him. You know that wouldn't be smart, plus we might actually end up exposing his cover..." Mine said, knowing full well how close Akame and Tatsumi had grown since the former had joined Night Raid.

 

"N-no, I understand that... still, Tatsumi is our comrade! We must save him at all costs!" Akame cried, showing her fullest emotion for the first time in front of the Fresh Bloods.

 

Whoa... I'm getting the same feeling I got from the hunting mission... Miss Akame ain't foolin' around, Seelo thought, swishing his straw back and forth. Akame may have her quirks, but there was one thing that Seelo understood and respect, it was bonds.

 

"Is this Esdeath lady as strong as you guys are makin' her out to be?" Seelo asked aloud.

 

"Believe me, she is. She didn't show it earlier today, but when Tatsumi and Bulat were fighting the Three, I had a chance to read her bloodlust. Just smelling her off-guard, it was hella strong... you three wouldn't be able to handle it," Leone said not to insult but to warn. Seelo silently gulped, getting the message.

"In that case... what's the plan to get Tatsumi back?" Kotetsu asked calmly. He hadn't known the others for too long, but they were his comrades. He also wanted to make sure that they remained safe at all costs. He'd lost enough of his allies, he wouldn't stand to lose any more. "If Esdeath's that strong, we'll probably want to avoid her..." He sighed, unsure of what exactly they could do to solve their problem. Esdeath alone sounded like a difficult enough opponent, and he figured that they'd need to get through more soldiers to reach Tatsumi as well.

The diagnostics of it all was rather grim. Not only was Tatsumi under enemy hands, but he was at the hands of the Jeagers which were specifically made to eliminate them all. Things could have definitely gone worse, but mentioning it would be jinxing it. "Well if they know that he's one of us they could possibly be expecting a rescue attempt. But if they don't or not isn't something we know now is it?" Elektra sighed as she waved her feet. Usually in storybooks the hero would have a grand plan to escape and rescue the princess. But right now they were at blank. "...oh! Why don't we make a trojan horse or dress up like guards!" Elektra suddenly said. As stupid as it sounded for the situation, in her view it was a logical tactic. "We will pretend to have no involvement whatsoever and enter and when they're distracted we'll burst out to cause enough chaos to rescue Tatsumi! We're relatively new so they wouldn't know our faces if we went in!" Elektra suggested.

"In that case... what's the plan to get Tatsumi back?" Kotetsu asked calmly. 

"Well if they know that he's one of us they could possibly be expecting a rescue attempt. But if they don't or not isn't something we know now is it?" Elektra sighed as she waved her feet. "...oh! Why don't we make a trojan horse or dress up like guards!" Elektra suddenly said.

"We will pretend to have no involvement whatsoever and enter and when they're distracted we'll burst out to cause enough chaos to rescue Tatsumi! We're relatively new so they wouldn't know our faces if we went in!" Elektra suggested.

 

"Don't be stupid. Whether Tastumi is exposed or not, we can't risk blowing more covers. But whatever we're gonna do, you three sure don't get a say. Like Leone said, if you came face to face with Esdeath, she'd eat you alive," Mine harshly said.

 

"Mine is right. You've grown through your training, but it's certainly not enough to face someone like Esdeath, even if we do not know the full capacity of her strength. It's best to just play things safe for now," Akame said.

 

"If Esdeath's that strong, we'll probably want to avoid her..." He sighed, unsure of what exactly they could do to solve their problem.

 

"As much as possible, too." Seelo interjected, sighing in defeat. "But still, what can we do to help, Miss Akame?"

 

"I'll let you three to help with Tatsumi's retrieval, but I want you three to stay close to me," Akame commanded. "With that settled, everyone gather any supplies that you may need and we'll head out immediately."

Throughout the rest of the day, Night Raid hid in the shadows of the Empire in order to track Tatsumi as he was being held captive by Esdeath. All they could do was keep an eye on him until there was a chance to help him break free of her control.

 

The next day, that chance came when Tatsumi was let out of the capital through the front entrance with Esdeath and presumably some other Empire soldiers as well. Akame had been staking out the entrance for some time, the Fresh Bloods accompanying her. Soon, they began tailing the group's travel.

 

-- Forest outside Mt. Fake --

 

Tatsumi, on hands and knees, dragged himself from the depth of a river, having made an successful attempt to escape from Esdeath. However, he had suffered minor injuries and was battling exhaustion due to using Incursio to battle one of Esdeath's soldiers during his escape. This left him powerless as a Danger Beast, an animal resembling a lion with the antlers of a deer and three piercing red eyes, closed in on him.

 

Before it could attack Tatsumi, Akame rushed in and sliced it in half. Akame and the others had finally caught up to Tatsumi's trail. But soon, more of the same Danger Beasts circled the two. One of them tried to pounce Akame from behind.

 

"Incomin'!" Seelo cried, appearing as Akame did before. He jumped in front of the beast and punched it straight in its face, leaving a burn mark as it cried out in anguish and fell to the ground.

 

"Howdy, Mr. Tatsumi," Seelo casually greeted.

One of the danger beats didn't even had a chance to attack, as it was suddenly impaled with multiple sharp bones, going right through vital portions of the beast before pulling apart and across the body, causing extensive damage to the delicate insides before the bones retreated. The same ribs stabbed again, climbing up the back, Elektra slamming the tail of her weapon right against the head of the beast, hard. "You escaped all on your own?! That's so cool, mister Tatsumi!" Elektra said smiling, the beast groaning in pain as it fell to its knees and down to the ground, Elektra maintaining balance up until it hit the floor, allowing her to jump off safely back to the ground. "Your hair is a mess though!"

Kotetsu ran over to the others, jumping towards one of the Danger Beasts. Both of his arms turned into sword blades as he stabbed at the Beast's back with both. He jumped back off of it, and slashed at its head, cutting it off with one quick motion. He moved on to slashing at another one. "This makes things much easier for us." He pointed out. "We won't have to worry about the enemy showing up here, will we?"

 

"Hey ,everyone. It's good to see you all again." He sighed in relief, then responded to Kotetsu's question. "No, we should be safe from them for now... We'll have to move out quickly, though." Tatsumi stood slowly, and activated Incursio once again. However, he was clearly feeling a little weak. He gripped his spear and swung it at one of the Danger Beasts, instantly cutting straight through it. "Thanks Elektra." He smiled beneath his mask. "I'll be able to clean up once we get back to HQ, I'm sure."

"Sounds good, sir!" Seelo said. "But please, just let us three take care of the rest. You need to save your strength. You look like you went through Hell..." He then looked at Akame. "Is that okay, ma'am?"

 

"Yes. These Danger Beasts shouldn't be a problem. I'll take Tatsumi off to the side," she said, quickly grabbing onto her comrade and jumping up into the forest, able to view the three from above a high branch in a tree.

 

Meanwhile, even more of the Antler Lion beasts began to surround the Fresh Bloods.

 

"Well, uh, let's see... one, two, three... seven, eight... uh... well, Hell, there's a lot of them," Seelo confirmed, punching his knuckles together. "In any case, this is a perfect time to show off. Yeehaw!"

 

Seelo was already confronting one of the beasts that tried to lunge at him, grabbing its paw in his hand. It stunned it by burning the paw, long enough for Seelo to close in and fire a straight uppercut to its jaw, flipping it into the air and onto its belly, its jaw broken and face smoking.

Elektra glanced around at the Danger Beasts that began to surround them. Time to show off? Sounded like fun. Elektra glanced up, her vertebrate tail suddenly blocking an attack from the Danger Beast. The ribs sharpened up, extending as they stabbed the beast’s arm, forcing it to retreat it out of pain. Elektra took this chance and charged straight at it, jumping high into the air as she used the ribs to slash across the beast’s chest and stomach, blood gushing out. The beast was stunned long enough out of pain to give Elektra a chance to land on its arm and run up its back to its head. As she did she saw another beast aim its attack straight at her. She waited for the right moment, before jumping high into the air, the attacking beast ending up landing its attack on the other beast instead on her like it intended. “Strike!”

Kotetsu observed the Danger Beasts surrounding him. It didn't seem like they'd be nearly as tough as the ones they'd fought before... Still, he'd have to keep his guard up. One rushed towards him, but he quickly transformed his left arm into a blade with his Imperial Arms. Now it was time for him to give it a proper test run. He slashed up through one of them, flipped over it, then slashed at its back. It fell over dead, and he landed behind it. Unfortunately for him, this placed him right by two more that looked at him hungrily. Not my best decision... He silently noted, then, barely rolled out of the way of their attacks. He jumped back up to his feet, quickly enough to jump back out of the way of another set of attacks. He used his blade arm to stab at one that got near him, and did the same with the other. Eventually, he blocked the attack of one, toppling it over. He stabbed at its chest, and its flailing stopped. As for the other one, it lunged at him, but he quickly dodged out of its way. He slashed at its head as he did this, cutting it off in one motion. He panted, proud of his current victories. "How are you two holding up?" He asked the others, hoping that they were doing fine.

"Not too shabby, I reckon!" Seelo yelled as he pummeled yet another Danger Beast.

 

The three continued their onslaught, eventually beating back every Danger Beast that sought to attack them. Akame then had them retreat back to HQ, Tatsumi on hand.

= Night Raid HQ =

 

Gathering into the small meeting room, Tatsumi relayed all the information he had gathered while under Esdeath's and the Jaeger's eye, including the fact that Akame's sister, Kurome, is a member of the Jaegers as well as details on her Imperial Arms, March of the Dead: Yatsuhusa, a sword that will turn anybody it strikes into Kurome's undead puppet. Other intel was gathered on the Jaeger members Seryu Ubiquitous, former officer of the Imperial Police who utilizes mechanical weapons made through several body modifications as well as the Imperial Arms, Magical Beast Transformation: Hekatonkheires, both used in the murder of former Night Raid member Schelle. Esdeath's current abilities were also discussed, with Tatsumi reaffirming that if any of them were to challenge her at her current strength, it would extremely difficult...

 

= Later That Night =

 

However, in a period of reprieve, the group decided to celebrate Tatsumi's return. Akame prepared a feast for everyone, although found herself eating most of it. Lubbock was quietly fuming at Tatsumi, who was being smothered by the increasing drunk Leone, taking a swig of alcohol from her mug in between fawning over him. Meanwhile, Seelo, Kotetsu and Elektra were situated in as well. This would be the first time they got to interact with their fellow Night Raid assassins on a more personal level outside of training and missions.

 

"Lively bunch, ain't they?" Seelo commented to his fellow Fresh Bloods, sipping a drink as he sat against the wall. "Reminds me of the last family reunion. But heck, I'd rather be here than back in that rickety old shack. Dang windows won't shut in my room. I've been freezing my butt off for as long as I can remember..."

Elektra couldn't help but to agree. They were so lively, and overall friendly after passing through their initial roughness, that it was hard to remember that they were a guild of assassins to begin with. The liveliness was somewhat family like as well. It was nothing compared to the fancy parties or events that would take place in the houses of the elite. It was much more friendly and less pish posh. "You have a big family, Seelo? Do you have brothers and sisters and uncles and aunts too then?" Elektra asked curiously. "It sounds fun to have so many all together!" Her own family wasn't even family. Just strangers who happened to live in the same household as her. She never even met her own siblings due to being locked away. "It sounds fun to live where you lived, though. Family and danger beasts all sound exciting!" Elektra hummed. She then paused to think to herself a question. "What's cold?" She then shook her head and looked over at Kotestu. "What about you, Kotestu? Do you have any family cheering for you back home?" Elektra asked.

Kotetsu had remained a little quiet during the whole party, though he was enjoying it. Talking a lot outside of a mission simply wasn't in his nature. However, Seelo and Elektra's attempts at conversation caught his attention. He listened to them both share stories of their past, and talk about their new allies. He did have to agree that they were an eccentric bunch... They were much more colorful than he'd expected a team of assassins to be. Elektra asked him about his own family, and he gave a simple response. "No, I don't have a family... Not anymore, anyway." He didn't go into details about what had happened. It wasn't something that he really knew how to talk about. The thought of it made him sad, but it had been so long ago... There was also his friend and partner from when he was younger, but she had also passed away. Now that he thought about it, this was the closest that he'd had to a family in a long time. He fought alongside other soldiers in the army, but never really got to know them like he had with Night Raid. He decided to leave that thought out of his response, as he felt it might have been a little too personal.

"You have a big family, Seelo? Do you have brothers and sisters and uncles and aunts too then?" Elektra asked curiously. "It sounds fun to have so many all together! It sounds fun to live where you lived, though. Family and danger beasts all sound exciting!" Elektra hummed. She then paused to think to herself a question. "What's cold?" She then shook her head and looked over at Kotestu. "What about you, Kotestu? Do you have any family cheering for you back home?" Elektra asked.

 

"Nah, not too big. It was just me, my ma and my pa. But you're right about that other part: hunting Danger Beasts was always a blast. It was good times it was..." Seelo confirmed, managing to keep himself rather composed although he was talking about a tender subject. He smiled to himself took a moment to reminiscence, soaking in the memories he had of his family.

 

Taking another sip, he then drew his attention to Kotetsu after Elekra asked him about his family.

 

Elektra asked him about his own family, and he gave a simple response. "No, I don't have a family... Not anymore, anyway."

 

Seelo replied, "Well now... if I may, my condolences, partner. I know what that feels like," Seelo said, his voice a little bit shaky now that he had to further think about his own personal tragedy. He wanted to further speak, maybe to share some positivity, but at the same time, he was still hanging on to his sadness...

Elektra glanced around, and noticed how quickly the atmosphere changed from casually cheery to gloomy upon touching the family subject into detail. To lose something dear to you is painful, is it not? Whether it would be a favorite toy, or a best friend, or worse a member of your family, it is always described as a pain that can never be healed with bandages or surgery. She wondered how it would feel like, yet at the same time not as curious to find out just about yet. "...I'm sorry." Elektra said, shuffling in her seat. "It appears my question brought up some bad thoughts. I didn't mean it that way." She explained, hoping that maybe such apologies could lessen the sadness just a tad bit enough to lighten the mood again. "But you are alive and well now, so you may take this chance to make those you have lost in this world proud, right?" She added, setting the tankard down. "We're part of the Nightraid after all. Death is going to be our trade. We have to be happy and be able to move on and protect what we can with our new powers, right?"

She explained, hoping that maybe such apologies could lessen the sadness just a tad bit enough to lighten the mood again. "But you are alive and well now, so you may take this chance to make those you have lost in this world proud, right?" She added, setting the tankard down. "We're part of the Nightraid after all. Death is going to be our trade. We have to be happy and be able to move on and protect what we can with our new powers, right?"

 

Seelo thought about Elektra's words.

 

"Huh... well... yeah. Yeah, you're right, lil' lady. I mean, heck, these guys have been drilling us with that stuff since we've joined," Seelo said. "I mean, after I had to leave my farm, I managed just fine for myself until I was picked up by the Revolutionary Army. Besides... we uh... we're pretty tight-knit ourselves, right? After working with each other for so long, I mean," Seelo added.

 

His experience with the Fresh Bloods as well as with the other members of Night Raid, especially Akame, influenced his statement. Beforehand, he asked Tatsumi about the fallen members of Night Raid, Schele and Bulat, and after hearing about how strongly it affected their unit, especially Akame, Mine, and Tatsumi himself, he began to think the same about his fellow assassins. After all, with the way they acted and the amount of trust they had in one another, it was almost like a family itself, at least to Seelo.

"... You're right, Elektra. We do need to focus on living on for the ones we've lost." Kotetsu pointed out, and a small smile appeared on his usually stoic face. "Thank you for telling us that." He was surprised to hear that Seelo viewed the rest of Night Raid the same way that he had come to see them. "Yeah, I'd say we've all become close thanks to our time together. I spent a lot of time with some people in the Revolutionary Army, but I never really felt like we were too close... This group has felt different, though." He realized that hiding his emotions from the others would do nothing to help him gain their trust. He didn't want to open up too much, but he also wanted to let the other members of Night Raid know what he thought of them.

"Glad to see we're in agreement then," Seelo said. "Heck, I bet the rest of Night Raid feels the same about us!"

 

Mine, listening to their banter from the other side of the room, couldn't help but interject.

 

"Don't sell yourself short, farmboy. You're still not up to snuff in my eyes. None of you are."

 

"Aw come on, Miss Mine, you don't mean that do you?"

 

"Of cooourse she doesn't, heh," Leone interjected, holding a large mug of alcohol and walking over to the group. "We didn't beat the living crap outta ya just because we were teammates. It's called 'tough love', and we've got plenty of it for ya!" She slurred, clearly drunk, as she wrapped an arm around Seelo.

 

"U-uh, well, that's very nice of you to say, Miss Leone..." Seelo nervously replied, causing Leone to try and suffocate him with her breasts as she did with Tatsumi regularly.

 

"Air! Air! I need air!" Seelo cried into the folds of Leone's chest.

Kotetsu felt happy to hear that Leone had also come to view them as friends, though her odd drunken behavior did scare him a little bit. Mine's comments made him slightly upset, but Leone's reassuring words helped to calm him down. Given that this was becoming a friendly moment between him and his teammates, he decided to try helping Seelo out. He walked over to Leone nervously. "I'm sure he appreciates the sentiment, but it might be time to let him go..." A nervous laugh was let out as he tried to calmly speak with Leone.

 

Tatsumi also joined in. "Mine might be a little harsh on the outside, but I'm sure all of us agree that you're all valued friends here." He grinned, glad that everyone was getting along so well. Even if they were all assassins, he felt as though they were all close friends.

"See, Tatsumi sees where I'm comin' from... in fact..." Leone then let go of Seelo and grabbed Tatsumi. "I never get tired of giving you some love!" She laughed, giving him the same treatment she gave Seelo previously.

 

Seelo took a huge breath of fresh air before falling over on his side, dazed by Leone's actions.

Elektra watched it all unfold. After analyzing their words, they were absolutely right. They were a family. A small and somewhat different family big a family no less. If anything it would be the closest thing to a family that she could have ever gotten close to. One that isn't afraid or minds of her lack of physical feeling, and that isn't ashamed and instead thrives to help the other out. Even as they were part of a job so morbid as this one, it was all...rather bubbly and happy when times were good. And that was more than enough to make her happy. She laughed as once again Leone did her trick and almost tried to suffocate her friends with her enormous boobs. Sometimes she wondered if they were actually balloons. Yet watching Leone share the 'love' around did sound fun. "Love!" Elektra cheered as she jumped off from her seat and wrapped her arms around Kotetsu to share some love, seeing as he didn't get any from Leone. "If we're one big family then you and Seelo have to be my older brothers!" She insisted.

Tatsumi somehow hadn't expected Leone to switch over to suffocating him instead. "H-hey, let go of me!" He barely managed to shout before being shoved into the drunk woman's chest. He struggled to escape, but as usual, it was no use.

 

Kotetsu would have felt relieved that his plan to get Seelo away from Leone worked, but now someone else had taken his place... "Let's hope that you won't need to worry about getting used to it." He told Seelo, though he was also hopeful that it was something he'd never have to experience, either. He was a little surprised when Elektra chose to hug him, although this was a lot easier to go through than Leone's signs of affection. Hearing her say that he'd be her older brother shocked Kotetsu... He really didn't know what having a sibling was like. Of course, he was one of the people who had agreed that they were like a family, so there was no way getting around his new predicament. "I guess that would make us like your brothers." He stated calmly, though he did smile a bit afterwards. "This is definitely an odd family, though..." He pointed out, glancing over at Leone and Tatsumi.
