Sora96 17,256 Posted November 22, 2014 What are you having trouble with? I can't really give any generic tips because I found it pretty easy... I heard it was the hardest boss in the game. That fight is very easy if you got high level monsters and Serah herself is of a high level. What level are you? I've maxed out Serah and Noel's levels. Aros 670 Posted November 23, 2014 All I need to do now to platinum Final Fantasy XIII-2 is complete the Bestiary. Anyone got a good guide? i don't have a guide but i have the platinum in FFXIII-2, if you can tell me which enemy you missed i could try to help
hatok 6,413 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) The biggest thin to keep an eye out for is all the different enemy types in the time period where you fight all those superbosses Each weather pattern has different enemies Edited November 23, 2014 by hatok
Elast0 147 Posted November 23, 2014 You don't really need a guide. Find a list that has all monster locations in it and just check what you missed.

KH4Real 749 Posted November 24, 2014 Nicely done! FFXIII seems really hard to platinum with the 5star rank on boss and finding every treasure. I'm thinking to platinum lightning returns when I'm going to play it.

Sora96 17,256 Posted November 25, 2014 it'll ruin your life average platinum time is like 200 hours you need to hold every item EVERY ITEM I hear it's hard but I don't see how, I mean all the people who complain about it being linear, shouldn't be hard to get everything. hatok 6,413 Posted November 25, 2014 I hear it's hard but I don't see how, I mean all the people who complain about it being linear, shouldn't be hard to get everything. getting everything involves upgrading items and then disassembling them to get specific items. You also have to upgrade every weapon for every character (not to the ultimate weapon form, you only have to do that once per character because all of the ultimate weapons count as the same type) Also grinding to max level is a lot harder in XIII then XIII-2 and you have to kill so many Adamantoises 1 Cyber Shaman reacted to this

Plating Xiii-2 was a bitch to do- well I mean in my case it's getting all the acheivements. Especally the Serendipoulous Trophy/Acheivement, you had to put a rubber band on the L1 button to perform 7+ hours of button mashing. I actually had a hard time defeating Caius using the paradox Scope.
Cyber Shaman 990 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) This is late but I still like to post my advice in case others might need it. First you should max Sarah and equip nothing but Iron Bangels in which it increases your HP by 10%. Then for a weapon you equip the Odin Blade that comes with a skill called Fragment Energy. With Fragment Energy, the weapon's strength and magic increase as the number of fragments you collect. For Monsters, your pardigm Pack should be Commando, Synergist, and Medic. As you've seen, Ravenger is not needed due to caius's Chain Break ability. For commando you equip Ton Berry (You'll find him at Bresha Ruins 300 af) max him out by mainly focusing on his attack and his HP. After maxing him out, find Narashima (Yacshas Massif 1x af) and max him out with Munchkin (Bresha Ruin 300 af) and infuse the two into Ton Berry. His Hp should be 10000 and his strength should be 1163. For Synergist, use Purple Chocobo or Giga Cactar. For Medic, use Caturoni or Cactarama. You pardigms should be: Commando, Commando Medic, Medic Senitel, Medic Senitel, Synergist Senitel Commando Synergist, Synergist For the most part of the fight you'll be stuck in Senitel. You'll notice there's a pattern, before he attacks he activates his Heart of Choas skill and he ends his combo with a big attack. After his combo he'll be open for Ten seconds, you have time to heal and Buff yourself. You'll want to use Senitel and Commando, since Ton Berry had a poison skill, he'll dish alot of damage as he attacks you.
