What mode should I play 2.5?

Recommended Posts

I'm pretty good, certainly not the best. For reference I beat KHI on proud, but not without a lot of difficulty, most coming from Shadow Sora and Riku/Ansem, as well as some latter bosses that kick my ass, such as Maleficent when you fight her the first time. It was closest battle in my life with me dipping into 5<HP almost the entire battle, frantically shifting from Arogoea and Cura, dodging attacks that I never managed to dodge before, and somehow blocking a defender in the most crucial moment... it was the most painful 5 minutes of my life... but anyway, back on track. On the normal mode I've managed to beat Sephiroth (phfft, no big deal) and unknown (some-freaking-how, I don't even know...) along with all the other secret bosses, but that was on normal. When I get KH2.5 I want to play KHII on proud (I've beaten it on proud before, but never did the extra stuff) but I also want to beat all the bosses too with Lingering Will, Sephiroth, and the Data battles. My problem is I don't know if they would be unreasonably hard on proud and I wouldn't be able to finish it, however KHII on normal is way too easy for me. So for those who have played KH2 final mix, what would you recommend if you've tried to beat all the bosses on proud mode? And I also want to know if you even beaten them om critical?

I really recommend trying KH2FM's Critical Mode, as far as I;m concerned it's the ONLY good Critical Mode in the game,

Don't bother with zero xP unless you're looking for a fairly unfair challenge

I'm going to beat KHIIFM on Proud to get used to the controls again and then move up to Critical, since I've never beat the game on Proud. I suggest maybe you do the same.

Peace!

Well, I've played all the Kingdom Hearts games in their most highest difficulties, so I suggest that if you want a challenge, play Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix in Critical Mode!  I know that I'll be playing it on Critical Mode when I get the game next month!  Trust me, the challenge is worthwhile and it makes you really plan out your tactics. It'll be especially thrilling when fighting against the secret bosses!  But yeah, you should play it in Critical Mode.  If not, then play it on Proud then. ^^

So I'll assume you've beaten the bosses on critical too then? I'd never go for Level zero unless I'm dong it for a joke run with a friend.

Heh, thanks, so far I'm convinced that I could handle the bosses on proud mode, after that I'll try and attempt Critical which I look forward to :)

Critical Mode all the way.

You might be over estimating my abilities, I agree that KHII was far too easy even on proud, but my concern is the Data battles and Lingering will, aren't they supposed to be insanely tough?

Not if you know how to beat them than they're not that tough :P.

Fair enough, but since I'm going to be playing this game like 47 times until KHIII comes out anyway I'll start out on Proud so I can get it done faster so I can finally play BBS!!!
