HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted November 6, 2014 Anyone who's used the Circle Pad Pro for DDD, does it help control the game better at all? I'm assuming that the extra circle pad would control the camera, and I'm having a lot of trouble playing through DDD again with the wonky camera controls the way they are. Also, are there any other games that use the Circle Pad Pro? DDD is the only 3DS game I've ever played that seems to feature it; are there any good games out there to make a purchase more worth it? Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted November 6, 2014 (edited) Kid icarus Uprising uses it, but I'd wait till next year when the rest of the world will likely get the new 3DS, it comes with a second analog stick, R2/L2 buttons and interchangable face plates. Kello 310 Posted November 6, 2014 DDD + Circle Pad Pro is good. And The Resident Evil: Revelations is good too.

Well, that doesn't really help me now, does it? Besides, a Circle Pad Pro costs about $20-30, while a New 3DS is unlikely to be any less than $150, if even that low. If I could spare that kinda cash, I would, but I just can't. (Also there's no guarantee the new stick will work with DDD, and if it does, that it won't just be a crappy control stick anyway.) BlankShell 638 Posted November 6, 2014 The Z2 trigger for lockons is a godsend, and I immensely enjoyed being able to control the camera with the second CP. That said, for some of the more intense boss fights (Julius, mainly) you'll be better off without it. For 20 bucks, I thought it was worth it.
GN_Otaku 70 Posted November 6, 2014 I would recommend waiting for the new 3ds, it's confirmed that all cpp games are compatible, but I would go for it if you really are having difficulty with the normal control scheme.
VisitJoan 2,713 Posted November 7, 2014 I don't use it at all, but it might be useful if you're left handed.
