It's cheaper if you get a PSP 3000. You can get a used PSP 1000 for roughly 85 dollars. Add 40 for BBS and it's only 125 dollars, compared to 200 for the bundle.

It's cheaper if you get a PSP 3000. You can get a used PSP 1000 for roughly 85 dollars. Add 40 for BBS and it's only 125 dollars, compared to 200 for the bundle.

 

well you do get a usb and some other stuff, but id rather have a new better one, except i should have just kept my ds lite instead of buying the dsi, that wasnt a very wise decision

The new version's best gaming feature is that it can be plugged into the TV. I'll admit, I was tempted for a long time to upgrade based just on that, but I figured it wasn't worth 60 bucks. Most of the 3000's enhancements are for media playing and the like.

So if you're jsut getting it for BBS, get the 1000.

Also a 1 GB usb card is 10 bucks.

I got an awesome deal. I got a special edition red 2000 psp with 5 games and a case for 55. And bbs will be around 40 so I got a psp 2000, 5 games, and bbs for 95. Oh I have a question. I also bought the japanese version, but it was 70. Why is it 30 bucks more than the english?

You need to buy a cable to plug it in, but yes.
