Mr. Abyss (bb) 0 Posted July 26, 2010 how is it that Terranort was beaten in that battle with the Lingering Sentiment, cause before he was like taking on TAV with like 1 hand.I know he had Vanitas to help but he still looked pretty much in control.I mean,he transfers his heart into a younger, stronger body, then loses to a suit of armor?.And on that note,do you think Lingering Sentiment could have actually been ''beaten'',because there's not actually a body to hurt or damage right?.Anyway, thanks for your answers

It's like wearing a brand new set of clothes. Feels a bit weird when you put it on for the first time, right? I assume it was a similar experience ^^ Dunno if LS can actually be beaten. We've only seen him fight twice, and both times he won against a "less experienced" opponent.

Reversal 53 Posted July 26, 2010 true, he didn't technically lose to sora, he just ended the fight, he obviously could have beaten sora yeah it makes sense, but by the time aqua fought him, was he used to his new body? Maybe. We don't know exactly how much time had passed between Aqua's ending to when she fights him in RG. See Nomura? This is why we need a timeline :

This is why we need a timeline : Can't be too long after, can it? Then again, Aqua had a whole universe to search for Terra in. And she probably went to go drown her troubles in games at the Mirage Arena

The reason Terra beat Master Xehanort the first time is because he gave in to the darkness and obtained great power in exchange for leaving himself vulnerable to possession by Master Xehanort. The Lingering Sentiment was able to defeat Terranort (That's just what I've grown to call the Xehanort possessed Terra) was due to the fact that it was more or less an even fight now that Master Xehanort was in his body. You can think of it as a one on one between two Terras, one who uses Darkness and one that doesn't. Hope that helped some.
