khfan02 56 Posted July 25, 2010 y did TN decide to put 358/2 days on the ds if u NEVER really used the touch pad at all during the game.
Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted July 25, 2010 Just because a game is on DS doesn't mean you need to use all of it's features. The GameBoy was played out when Days was thought of, so the DS would be the most logical console.
SeighartX 0 Posted July 25, 2010 The reason why is because you really dont need to use all the features on the DS plus with the style of KH I dont think touch screen features would have helped that much.
OblivionRider 50 Posted July 27, 2010 I always use the touch screen to reposition the camera. When my R button broke, I relied on it to get through the levels. When I got it fixed, the habit just stuck.
Think Pink 1,967 Posted July 28, 2010 Well Kingdom Hearts kind of bounces around using different gaming systems. Also, I think the DS was more portable. I played under the table at dinner, so DS was a very good idea.
Maffy 45 Posted July 30, 2010 LOL under the table That was nice And yeah , cause a game is for a console , it doesn't mean it MUST use all the features . Plus tbh , I had great fun without using the touchscreen . Doubt it'd get better if I did use it :v
Cellar Door 652 Posted July 31, 2010 clearly, it was so cella could play it in the school bathrooms. you can't hook up ps2's in there, psps are too big for my pockets, and my gameboy broke. but really, because they're known for putting spin-offs not on a big console like ps2 (bbs-psp, com-gba) and i guess the game wasn't big enough for psp and if they put it on the gba they'd be ridiculed / graphics are better on the ds than a gameboy. Reversal 53 Posted July 31, 2010 y did TN decide to put 358/2 days on the ds if u NEVER really used the touch pad at all during the game. Because people were saying that KH would be a perfect for the DS and for the multiplayer aspect, seriously. Sure, it wasn't implemented much, being really only for arranging panels, moving the camera, and chatting in multiplayer, but at least it has a purpose, albeit a small one. CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted July 31, 2010 I think the real question is why did TN make Days at all?
Cellar Door 652 Posted July 31, 2010 @captor lol rusrs? to fill in a gap/explain things/add more questions & i believe its supposed to help with an upcoming kh.
Reversal 53 Posted July 31, 2010 I think the real question is why did TN make Days at all? This pretty says why Days was on the DS, and why it was made. -- So out of those, was Days the first project put into motion? Nomura: That's right. Actually, from just before the DS was released, there were voices saying it should definitely have KH. Roxas' time in Organization XIII[/b]" and "Xehanort's past". In this case, The story of "The period of the King's absence" is set in the realm of darkness. I am examining a way to tell these 4 stories so I might be able to find a way to tell them soon. CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted August 1, 2010 @captor lol rusrs? to fill in a gap/explain things/add more questions & i believe its supposed to help with an upcoming kh. I know but as much as loved spending time with the Organistion, not killing them, I really didn't think I needed to know the intricacies of Roxas' life I nearly think it was better off left to the imagination from playing KH II. Although some of the best moments in Days were between Axel & Roxas I dont think the majority of the focus should of been on them. Then theres Xion, and the biggest missed opportunity in Days was not exploring in more detail Riku & Mickey's time during that year even playing their narrative . AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted August 1, 2010 The touch screen makes it a LOT easier to move your panels around. Try THAT on the PSP.
Kinode 3,056 Posted October 23, 2010 well some scenes, for example the sora flashbacks wouldnt happen too easily at another tipe of video game. besides, How would I play KH if it wasnt? I only have the ds and xbox, but there really isnt a KH game for xBox
