Kittenz 4,281 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) As soon as it's warm again, BAM: I get at least three of the freaks over my door. One time a derpy one decided to go on my curtain. In the middle of the night. As I type this, there is one on my ceiling. literally They're very fast, too, You don't want to try touching them because they have a habit of going to your head for safety I'm not afraid of any other spiders, tarantulas look cute to me and I've held some spiders before, just these ones, why? because they look like crabs. And I hate crabs .-. I know I'm werid If I want to ride my bike or go anywhere near something metal that has been outside with places spiders could hide in, then I have to be on the look out for these spiders: They're basically black widows with a fetish for killing snakes, birds and lizards and hiding in hot metal things and dark corners. Usually with metal. They really like metal things O_o I remember there was an entire colony making webs in my bike wheels after it had been stored in the garage. Fun times Not just that, but THIS This mofo bit my cat in the backyard. She survived but he may still be out there somewhere...waiting...watching... Now, if it was just these guys, I'd probably find a way to be chill about it, because I like spiders and snakes, but the absolute worst is going into the kitchen, preparing food then having to chuck it because of these douches getting in to everything Special mention to the ones that give me little sores, the bull ants Funnily enough, it's the ants I dislike the most, because they're the hardest to avoid, probably. And ticks And jellyfish should I go to the beach And Mosquitoes So pretty much, summer here sucks because everything is trying to make your life hard. Kittenz 4,281 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) I think it is time for you to move. Yes indeedy Me, Sora96 and Dchuich live in a place where you can't not see a spider everyday Trust me I kept a tally it's literally everyday man Australia is like natures version of hell (one that's liveable) btw what are the ants eating? Food on a kitchen bench. Yep If there is literally one blob of honey or something sticky or even a chip or piece of cat food there will be freaking swarm in the morning So much cereal I have attempted to go for only to open it to see billions of ants D: Edited October 21, 2014 by KittensOnFire

Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) My father lived there for 4 years. This was one of the things that made him move back to the US. Not because they were pesky or annoying, it's because he almost died from a Brown Snake bite. Luckily, he's all fine and well now! BTW, watch out for that Stonefish! It's merely the most poisonous fish in all of the seven seas! Edited October 21, 2014 by Hargleblargleboo 1 Kittenz reacted to this

Kittenz 4,281 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) How the hell are you so calm!? I would be screaming non stop. Jesus Christ what did Australia do to piss god off to send that!? Probably because I was born here, lol. You get used to it as terrifying as it still may be and enjoy the nice things about Australia. It's not all bad. Just generally Sure, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane are the only cities with actual stuff in them...but there's some pretty cool places, like this But then again..... that's the only thing really going for Australia isn't it I mean, we don't even have a DisneyLand! No didneyland! Only rip-off themeparks about water D: And everything costs more....but then again that means people get paid more so minimum wage is awesome. Teens like me can raise a small fortune so idk that's a plus I guess But hey, there's always the yummy lollies nom nom nom Other countries might have better ones, but tim tams are the most diabetes thing ever only beat by maybe those twinkie things This is why I'm glad I don't live in Australia. Dear god, that black widow will keep me up at night Hell, I would much rather live in a hermetically sealed bubble if I ever decide to visit that nature hellhole [no offense] o.O Not black widow, RedBack They're similar but are actually different species #I'm a nerd about spiders ok no judge Nature hellhole (Dude I'm not offended I wanna leave ) That is the most perfect description. Ever. Only brazil and africa fit it just as well Edited October 21, 2014 by KittensOnFire 3 Ceriraye, Yuya Sakaki and MythrilMagician reacted to this

Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) The sad part is that the rest of the world doesn't know how true this is for us Australians... Honestly our everyday life is like Man vs Wild here... @Kittens At least you live in Canberra... Here in Sydney we have to face this monstrosity: Dang Sydney Funnel Web. But just remember this: We will ALWAYS have Tim Tams! And Vegemite... Peace! Edited October 23, 2014 by CaelumMare
