Tails 6,692 Posted October 20, 2014 (edited) Why the heck did they freaking nerf No Heart!? I know they said that there would be some tweaks in Mirage Arena since the HD version won't have online (which is a shame considering how Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD still has online co-op) but why did they have to nerf No Heart this badly ? Not only did they nerf his health bars but now he takes A LOT more damage than he originally did in the PSP version. Which means he won't be as challenging as he was on the PSP version. Which is a real shame imo. I mean just look at this: Now compare it to the original version on tbe PSP. Really dissapointing. In the HD version he can be defeated easily even on Level 1. Which is sad imo. This really doesn't make him much of a challenge anymore unless you go back and fight him on the PSP version. hatok 6,413 Posted October 20, 2014 It's called balancing it the PSP version was an awful grind. I can onyl hope they made Vanitas' Remnant and the Mysterious Figure actually fun 1 Dr. Shimo reacted to this

Dr. Shimo 202 Posted October 20, 2014 they probably upped the graphics too much without thinking about it Good point, I reckon, but it's still odd. I mean, this is definitely one of those fights that they changed, hence payed a bit of attention to. (unless they just removed multiplayer, dropped his health and damage, and tacked on the rating system, all without bothering to edit any of this since this is not technically main game).Related sidenote, I wonder if Young Xehanort could have went back in time to gather No Heart (or rather, the Nobody that is inhabiting it; Xehanort's old body). Would make it more relevant story-wise

TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted October 20, 2014 This is a little disappointing all that person used was seeker mind and mind shield and just really I want him to be somewhat of a challenge, I don't mind the little nurf but that is just way to much in all honesty. I just wish they would nurf Mysterious Figure a little bit but from what I've seen it does not seem like they did -__- oh well hopefully having the Keyblade No Heart gives you fighting Mysterious Figure will be a little easy because of it's ability. 1 Tails reacted to this

WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted October 20, 2014 Hey! Now I can finally have a chance at beating No Heart! Thank you, Square Enix! (I'm a player who plays on easy/normal mode and tried to enjoy the story more than the gameplay of KH. I have no skill!) 1 Reflet reacted to this
hatok 6,413 Posted October 20, 2014 Balancing is one thing. But they made him too frickin easy. TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted October 20, 2014 They did nerf him a little. In BBS Final Mix you can break out of his whip attack. You know what if that is all they did I will be ok with that because I can not tell you how many times that is the way he killed me because he gets me in the whip I get up to him he hits me and before I hit the ground he hits me again and I die so being able to get out of the whip that changes everything. 1 Tails reacted to this
Tails 6,692 Posted October 20, 2014 he wasn't challenging on the PSP, he was tedious there's a big difference between challenge and a grind But that's what made him fun. The fact that he contantly made you stay on your toes throughout the entire fight was part of what made his boss fight so great and challenging. And now it's all gone in the HD version. You know what if that is all they did I will be ok with that because I can not tell you how many times that is the way he killed me because he gets me in the whip I get up to him he hits me and before I hit the ground he hits me again and I die so being able to get out of the whip that changes everything. Yeah, I couldn't agree more. His whip attack was really annoying when he spammed it.

Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted October 20, 2014 Have you ever considered that this is on easy mode? And anyway, I honestly don't mind. He was a BI*** to fight on your own, let alone with another player! It wasn't a challenge, it was a death wish with a slight chance of winning. I won't lie and say it wasn't fun and that I didn't enjoy the challenge, but honestly, without any of your friends to back you up or distract him, I'm honestly relieved that No Heart isn't going to be at the exact same difficulty as he was in the original BbS FM. This really is balancing. No friends to back you up, but fewer god stats to kill you off that quickly. Even Steven. And the challenge is all in how you play it. Have you tried playing it the way I do!? I have lost to relatively easy bosses so many times because I try to make everything "cinematic", imagine trying to do that with No Heart! If you don't feel like this will keep you "on your toes" (or hands X3) enough, then try to mix things up when you fight him, take more risks, do something to spice it up. The challenge shall always be there, it is the player who must become that challenger! Forsooth!
hatok 6,413 Posted October 20, 2014 Have you ever considered that this is on easy mode? It has to be Critical Mode for Aqua to be level

supersaiyanmikito 32 Posted October 20, 2014 This is actually false, they didn't nurf No heart, they actually made him stronger. EXP Zero is just very, very, VERY overpowered in Birth by Sleep HD. If he didn't have EXP Zero equipped, he would be doing 1 HP of damage every hit. EXP Zero acts kind of like in it did in 1.5 but they removed the Second Chance effect and made it like a hundred times stronger. That damage he is inflicting to No Heart, you couldn't even do that much damage at Lv99... Yeah, EXP Zero is THAT powerful! 1 Ultima Spark reacted to this
