Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted July 25, 2010 This is my story, based off of my RP "A Perfect World". The main character is Tao, a person from another world. These are his experiences. Introduction "Whoa, it's warm here." Tao gets up from the ground, and brushes grass off of his clothes. He sees a whole new world, a beautiful one. A world that seems too peaceful. A perfect world. He begins to walk through the plains of Utopia, the new name for Earth. Every country has become one. All crime rates have dropped to 0, and no natural disasters have occurred. "Things seem better here than back home". Tao lays down on the grass, arms spread, the sun beaming on him. The sky is the perfect shade of blue, the clouds are in perfect position, everything is perfect. Tao sits up and sees a man in a white robe with an electrical staff walk towards him. "Wake up." the man says. "GAAAHHHHH!". "I said, wake up!". The man throws Tao on the cell floor, and beats him with his staff. He then proceeds to yell, "WAKE UP!". Tao opens his eyes and sits up, wincing at the pain from his wounds. "Time for your sentencing." Three more men storm into the cell, and grab Tao. They place him in handcuffs and lead him out of the cell, and into another room. A court room. They place him in a seat on the left side of the room, and they go to the right side and sit down. A man in a white wig and a white gown is sitting on a high chair. He looks down at Tao, and then at the men in white. "What has this man done?", asks the judge. One of the men steps forwards and says, "He tried to breach the peace." The judge nods and slams his mallet against the desk in front of him. "I pronounce you guilty, for disturbing the peace. You will be placed in an underground prison, for life." My name is Tao Yuzi, and this is my story

Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted July 25, 2010 (Thanks to both of you) Chapter 1: Enter "Mother I want to go to the park today." "Just make sure you are home by 15 p.m.". Tao nods and runs out of his house, ready to meet his friends. My name is Tao Yuzi, and I am from another dimension. Tao hops onto his bike, which was parked on his front porch. Everything in this dimension is just like on Earth. Tao takes his bike to the sidewalk, and rides east, towards the park. I never want to leave this world. The wind blows through Tao's long, spiky hair as he rides against it. He grins as he sees his friends playing Ballbasket in the distance. He speeds up on his bike, and makes it to the park seconds later. "Hey guys! I'm ready to play-". He is cut off by a deafening noise. The wind kicks up, and the sky turns black. Tao reaches out to his friends, but he can't see them. A hole appears in the ground right in front of Tao. The suction of it is unstoppable. Tao is pulled into the hole. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!", he screams as he falls into the blackness. All he sees is darkness. I was taken away from my world. A beam of sunlight hits the unconscious Tao's face. "Where-where am I?". Tao gets up and finds himself in a field full of lush, long grass.

Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted July 25, 2010 Chapter 2: Capture Tao smiles as he walks through the field of grass. This place, it's like what I imagined heaven to be like. His walk turns into a run. He dashes through the grass, having the time of his life. He lays down on the ground, and looks into the sky. It was a perfect shade of blue, and the clouds were in perfect alignment. This world...it's perfect. Tao sits up, and he sees a small dot in the distance. He squints, and the dot becomes more visible. It's a man in white, riding a hovercraft. This must be the welcoming committee. The man reaches his destination, in front of Tao. He is wielding an electric staff. He hops off the hovercraft, and stares coldly at Tao. "State your name". "My name is Tao." "Where did you come from?". Tao smiles and says, "I think I am from another planet". The man scowls and says, "You came to disrupt the peace here." Tao is confused, and he expresses that on his face. The man hits Tao with the electric staff, and the pain causes Tao to double over. 10,000 volts had just surged through his body. The man strikes again, and Tao is out cold. I can't see anything
Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted July 25, 2010 Chapter 3: Conviction I was in the same green fields, running along. I notice a man on a hovercraft fly towards me. He gets off his vehicle and asks me where I am from. I tell him that I am from another world. He brings out a staff, equipped with electricity, and hits me with it. Everything goes black "Wake up." Am I dead...or am I sle- "Wake up!". I feel like I am alive "WAKE UP." Tao is hit with an electrical staff, and he jolts awake. He finds himself in a cold cell, and he is on the floor, but the floor is soft, almost like foam. He is grimacing from the pain of the blow. A man in white, the same man that knocked him out, was his assailant this time also. He grabs Tao and pulls him to his feet. "Today is your sentencing and conviction." Three more men in white storm into the cell, and they pin Tao against the wall. One of them slaps handcuffs on his wrist, and they lead him out of the cell. They stop at a bare wall, and the person that seems to be the leader of the qua-trio brings a silver ball out of his pocket, and throws it against the wall. The men lead Tao into the portal, and they soon appear in a courtroom. Tao is silent from fear. The men place Tao on the right side of the courtroom, and they walk over to the left. A man in clothing similar to theirs is there to greet them. The judge slams his mallet, and looks at the men. "Peacekeepers, why have you brought this man here." The man in red steps out in front of the judge and speaks. "This boy is from another world, your honor. He is going to disrupt the peace." The judge turns his attention to Tao. "Another world huh..". He looks at the man in red and says, "Good job Roque, you and your peacekeepers have done well." The man grins and bows to the judge. The judge turns his attention back to Tao. "In order for the peace to be maintained here on Utopia, everybody who has the potential to disrupt it will be shunned from our world. I pronounce you guilty for having the potential to do so, outsider." The judge slams the mallet, and Tao's skin begins to crawl. Why me?

Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted August 18, 2010 Chapter 4: White It all happened so fast. Before Tao knew it, he was bounding towards the exit door, oblivious to his surroundings. Home, I want to go home. He was being fueled by fear, running his fastest. But his fastest wasn't enough. Right before he made it to the door, Peacekeepers pounced on him. "Stay down!", they yelled. Tao tries to fight them off, but he gives up after 30 seconds. From exhaustion, or from realization? One of the Peacekeepers stand to their feet and place specialized handcuffs on Tao's wrist. He tries to use his strength to separate his hands, and gets a 10,000 volt shock throughout his body. He can feel his blood jump under his skin. Tao tries to get up once again, but he can barely see anything. Tunnel vision. The Peacekeepers lead him out of the courtroom, and to a wall. A white, blank wall. Roque emerges from the courtroom with a triumphant smile, and places his right hand on the wall. The wall lights up, and an elevator appears. The Peacekeepers shove Tao into the rather large elevator, and step in as well. Buttons were lined up all on the sides of the elevator, too many to count, but Roque presses a button to his right, and the elevator shoots down. Tao can barely stand on his feet. He uses the elevator door as support during the trip downwards. The elevator stops, and the door opens. The Peacekeepers grab Tao and push him out. He falls onto a white floor, that seemingly was tile. But when he hits the floor, it sinks. The pain that he expected never came to him. The room they were in was very small, and no doorway or windows were seen. Just a white room with padded walls and a padded floor. The Peacekeepers step back into the elevator, and before the door closes, Roque smirks and says, "Welcome to solitary confinement." The elevator door closes, and soon after, another wall appears and blocks the elevator entrance. No way out.
Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted August 19, 2010 Chapter 5: Mystery 5 minutes passed. No, maybe it was 5 hours. 5 days? Tao didn't know. He just knew he was sitting against the padded wall in his cell for the longest. He couldn't just sit there and think, the bright white colors were just too distracting for him to concentrate. All he did...was sit. No windows, no doors, no lights. The only thing in the room besides the wall, the roof, the floor, and himself, was a toilet. After several hours, or minutes, possibly days, of sitting, tiredness finally takes its toll on Tao. His eyes slowly close, and finally, he sees black. Thump. Tao is awakened by a sudden thump in the room. He yawned and stretched, and then opened his eyes, scanning the room for the perpetrator. Was it the Peacekeepers coming back to give him another beating? No. Tao sees a purple box in the dead center of the room. He gets up from his rest spot and walks to it. "Is this some kind of joke?", he murmurs. Curiosity takes over, and Tao decides to open the box. A voice pierces the silence in the room as soon as the box is open. "What is your utmost desire right now?", it asks. The voice...it was familiar to Tao, but he just couldn't figure out who owned it. He thinks about the question posed. These Humans....they pinned me up in a cell for nothing. I hate this planet, I want to get back to my own. Tao then screams in rage, "I want to have the power to crush this planet!". A single purple spark shoots from the box, and lands on Tao's hand. It wasn't hot, it felt warm and comforting. The spark dances a little, and then, goes into Tao's skin. In seconds, Tao feels like he could destroy anything he wanted to. He gives the purple box an intense glare. He concentrates on the box's destruction. Crush this box. Instantaneously, the box crushes, as if a 30 ton weight was dropped on it. Tao is filled with joy. He looks at his hands, amazed by the task he accomplished. "I have a gift!". Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted August 19, 2010 Chapter 6: Blood "Feeding time!". A trio of Peacekeepers emerge from the hidden elevator, one holding a tray of food. Slop, more like it. They approach Tao, who is sitting cross-legged in the middle of his cell, smiling. The Peacekeeper holding the food tray drops it on the ground right in front of Tao. "Eat up." Tao regards the bowl of slop placed in front of him, but he doesn't move one muscle towards it. He just looks at the Peacekeeper and says, "Why, thank you for bringing me this wondrous meal. But you see, I'm not hungry." The Peacekeepers look at each other and snicker. "You better eat that food. Or else." Tao continues smiling. "Or else what?". He was pushing it. The Peacekeepers stop snickering and become serious. They didn't like that Tao challenged their authority. "Or else, we're gonna kick your ass, bitch." Tao yawns. "You can try." That did it. All three Peacekeepers brought out their electrical staffs, and wielded them menacingly over Tao. "You're gonna get it now, you little punk." One of the Peacekeepers aims a blow straight at Tao's head, but Tao just puts his hand up, and the electrical staff drops to the ground, as well as the Peacekeeper. The two remaining Peacekeepers decide to attack as well, and they end up getting knocked to the ground as well, without Tao actually hitting them. "Wha-what the hell? How the hell did he do that?". Slowly, the Peacekeeper trio get to their feet. "You'll pay for that", says the Peacekeeper for appears to be the head of the trio, and the first one that got knocked down." Tao looks at the electrical staffs still on the ground. "On the contrary." Kill. In a quick second, one of the staffs lifts up into the air and impales the group leader in the neck. Instantly killed, the leader falls to the ground, silent and unmoving. The other two Peacekeepers slowly back away from Tao. "Please don't hurt us. Please!", says one. Tao shakes his head, and another electrical staff lifts from the ground. "You should've never started this.", he says. And like that, the staff impales the Peacekeeper in the heart, and he falls like a puppet with its strings cut. The remaining Peacekeeper has backed into a corner of the cell, trembling with fear. Tao finally gets up from the floor, and he slowly walks up the cowering officer. "Cowardice will not save your life." Tao kicks the Peacekeeper, and the man falls down to the ground, laying on his stomach in pain. Tao places his foot on the back of the Peacekeepers head, and then closes his eyes. Crush. In an instant, Tao's foot smashes the Peacekeepers head like a sledgehammer hitting a watermelon. Tao wipes bits of skull and brain off of his shoe, and then goes back to the position he was sitting in moments earlier.

Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted August 21, 2010 Chapter 7: The Move Two days after Tao killed the bully Peacekeepers, he was moved into general population, and had 100 years added to his sentence. Tao wouldn't have minded staying in his old cell for 100 years, but having to share a cell with a person he's never met for the rest of his life would be hell for him. The cell he was moved to was relatively large, at least large enough for two people. The concrete walls were a dark brown. A toilet was located at the very back of the cell, in the right corner. One bunk-bed was placed on the left side of the room. It was lunchtime, but Tao wasn't hungry. Earth food did not appease to him. He laid down on his bed, waiting to meet his cell-mate, since Tao was moved while the prisoners were at lunch. Why can't I just break out of here? I have powers right? I could kill them all! Tao lies down in extreme concentration. He was going to break out, whether it be this day, next week, or next year. He was going to escape, at all costs. The sound of a bell ringing pierces Tao's concentration. Lunch time was over. He could hear all of the prisoners head back to their cells, and felt anticipation to see who his cell mate was. A man in about his 20s comes to the cell door, and a Peacekeeper opens it up for him. The man walks in, smiling at Tao. "So I have a buddy for now on, eh?". The man was about 5'10, pretty tall, with shaggy blonde hair that dropped to his shoulders, and a goatee. His facial expression immediately alerted Tao that he had a care-free attitude. "The name is Jake. Jake Taylor", the man says as he walks to the bunkbed. Jake sticks his hand out as a greeting, and Tao reluctantly shakes it. "Tao Yuzi." Jake sits down on the bottom bed and says, "So, whatcha in for, Tao?". Tao sits up in his bed and says, "I honestly don't know. I'm not from Earth, and I appeared here. A man name Roque found me and took me to a courthouse, and the judge sent me here. And here I am." Tao waits for a reply from Jacob, expecting him to think that Tao was crazy. But he was wrong. "Not from Earth, huh. Explains a lot. This 'New World Order' doesn't like aliens. Feels that they will ruin the so-called peace they established here. Turns out, I'm not from Earth either. I'm from another dimension, I recently discovered." Tao is surprised by this revelation. "Let me ask you something. One day, during your sentence here, did you find a box in your cell? A box that appeared out of nowhere?". Jake scratches his chin. "I actually did, very recently. I opened it, and some weird voice talked to me. Now I can do this." Jacob snaps his fingers, and a spark of flame ignites from the tips of them. "I don't know why or how I can do this, but I think use these powers to help me get out of this hellhole." Tao grunts, and then replies. "I actually was thinking the same thing." Jacob gets up from his bed and looks at Tao. "Tao, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted August 24, 2010 Chapter 8: Broken (Got to write this today, no homework!) The next few days were a breeze for Tao. He and Jacob talked about a lot of things, things humans couldn't come close to understanding. Tao felt peaceful, and happy. He felt that nothing could ruin the peace that was currently set. But he was wrong. Tao was awoken one night by a bang on his cell bars. Tao opens his eyes sleepily, and sits up to see a Peacekeeper standing outside of the cell. Tao squints his eyes. He couldn't really see clearly, but he knew that the person was some sort of Peacekeeper. As his vision starts to clear, he sees that the person is wearing a red outfit. Tao immediately becomes filled with rage. Roque. Roque grins as when he sees Tao start to shake in anger. "Yuzi. Wake up Taylor. You guys are going to participate in something tonight." Jake had woken from his slumber long before Roque had banged on the cell bars. "What is it that we are going to participate it, Roque?", Jake said in a sarcastic tone. Roque continues his grin. "This prison is starting to get....overpopulated. We need to clear a lot of inmates out. We don't want to release them, so we're going to get rid of them the fun way." Jake and Tao immediately knew what he was talking about. Jake gets up from his bed, and gives Roque a deadly stare. "You guys are sick. You look to keep peace, but you do anything but keep it." Roque turns his back to them. "Be ready to fight in 5 minutes." Tao and Jake were led to an arena under the prison compound. Since the prison was already located 500 feet under the Earth's surface, the arena was burning hot. Tao started to sweat as soon as he walked in the arena. A small caged area was placed in the middle of the arena, and several crowd stands were located all of the area. Of course, Peacekeepers filled the stands. Tao and Jake were taken in front of the cage, and forced to watch prison fight that was currently going on. Two men were fighting in the cage. One man looked about 50 years old, skinny, and feeble. The other man looked like he was in his 30s, healthy and young. The older man had a busted jaw, a bleeding left eye, and broken arm. He was leaning against the cage for support. The younger man approaches the old man, and gets him into a headlock. The old man struggles to get free, but the young man twists his arms. A loud crack was heard throughout the arena. The young man lets go of the old man. The man falls to the ground, dead. The Peacekeepers begin to cheer, and the young man raises his hands in victory. Tao couldn't hide his disgust at this, and it appears on his face. An announcer enters the cage, holding a microphone. "The next competitor for our current champion is...Tao Yuzi!". Tao acts like he is surprised, and walks into the cage with false fear. The young man sneers at him when he enters. "Ready to die?". A Peacekeeper yells from the crowd, "Kill 'em Bull!". Bull snorts (ironically), and begins to stretch his limbs. He looks back at Tao and says, "I'll let you have the first hit." Kill him. Kill him. Kill him. Kill him. " Tao's eyes begin to flutter. In a quick second, Bull is slammed against the cage by an unknown force. Tao rushes him, and begins pummeling him with his fists. Bull falls to the ground, bleeding. Tao's eyes begin to widen as he continually stomps on Bull's head. After he is satisfied, Tao stands up straight, and puts all of his strength in a punch, aimed directly at Bull's throat. As soon as the punch hits, Bull's throat is lacerated, and he dies right after. The crowd doesn't cheer. The Peacekeepers just stare in awe. Tao picks up Bull's dead body, and with amazing strength, tosses it straight at the roof, where it is impaled by a spike. Blood begins to spray from his body into the crowd. Tao lets out a battle cry, and lifts his fist up into the air. He was victorious.

Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted November 12, 2010 Chapter 9: Burned Out Tired from his fight, Tao turns and attempts to walk out of the cage. The Peacekeepers that are guarding the entrance shove him back in. "What the hell? I won! I should be able to leave!". Roque appears behind the two Peacekeepers, wearing his traditional crooked grin, and says, "Oh no maggot. You still have one more person to fight." Tao's face changes from angry to shocked as he sees Jake shoved into the cage. The door is slammed behind him. Tao runs to help Jake up. "Why is he doing this?", Tao whispers as he bends down. Jake shoves Tao away from him. "Don't help me." Tao gets up and slowly backs up away from Jake, but giving him a suspicious look. Jake gets up from the ground and gives Tao an odd stare. "I can't lose here Tao. I have to kill you so I can go back home. They said if I kill you I can leave this place!". Tao just shakes his head. "Do you really think they will just let you go after they gave you a life sentence? You are out of your mind!". Jake growls and holds his palms out. Before Tao knows it, he is hit in the face with a fireball. The Peacekeepers in the crowd start to cheer. Tao gets up from the ground, clutching his face. A searing pain blazes throughout his body, and tears of pain fall out of his eyes. "Damn you, you firetrucking bastard!", Tao yells as he charges Jake, and punches him in the head. The force of the blow could be heard throughout the whole arena. Jake's head snaps as soon as Tao's fist hits it, and flies into the wall of the cage. He slumps to the ground, bleeding from his mouth and apparently dazed from the hit. Tao runs over to him and grabs him by the neck and slams him into the gate again. With one hand, he props him up against the gate, pressing his face against the cold steel. With his other hand, he completely pummels Jake with punch by punch by punch. After about 5 minutes of pure slaughter, Tao finally lets go of Jake, and lets him fall to the ground. Jake's body, completely covered in bruises, begins to tremble and shake from all of the nerve damage received. The crowd starts to yell "Finish him! Finish him! Finish him! Finish him!". Jake tries to pull himself up using Tao's leg for support, but Tao kicks his arms away. Jake then gets on all fours, and starts coughing blood. "I..I knew it would come to this..", he says weakly. He then slams one of his fists on the ground, and a pillar of flame appears behind Tao. "You must die", Jake keeps repeating. Tao turns and tries to back away from the pillar, but it keeps creeping slowly towards him. In a quick moment, Tao grabs Jake by the neck, and tosses him straight into the pillar. Expecting Jake to be burned to a crisp, Tao turns away from the pillar and walks towards the cage exit. But a flaming figure leaps out of the pillar and tackles Tao. Jake, completely engulfed in flames, pins Tao to the floor, and applies all of the heat from flames engulfing him onto him. The pain is too much for Tao. His skin literally cries out to him because of the pain from the flames. In an effort to break free, Tao releases one of his arms from Jake's grip. The purple spark appears in his eye as he sends a punch straight at Jake's throat. Jake's neck snaps, and he falls to the ground, dead, his body being slowly cremated by the flames he created... Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted November 16, 2010 Chapter 10: Break For It A splash of ice cold water wakes Tao from a deep sleep. He finds himself lying down on a hospital bed, covered in white sheets, with his face wrapped in bandages, in a white room. Several Peacekeepers are surrounding his bed, armed with their signature electrical staffs. Tao sits up in his bed to see who woke him up, and he sees Roque with a pitcher of water. "What the hell was that for?! And why the hell am I in the hospital wing?!", Tao shouts at him. He wanted to kill Roque so badly at the moment, but he knew if he made one move towards him, he would be impaled by 10 electrical staffs, so he stayed put. "You passed out after you murdered your good friend Jake. Oh what hell we had cleaning up his remains. You really firetrucked up him, you know", Roque sneers as he takes a seat in the far end of the room. Tao clenches his fists, but doesn't move. "What did you do to him? You brainwashed him you bastard!". Roque nods his head and smiles. "No. I didn't brainwash him at all. I simply gave him false hope. I told him that if he kills you, he would be let free from this prison. But I knew that he wouldn't be able to be let free because one, I wasn't planning on letting him free anyways. And two, I knew you would slaughter him." He pauses to take a look at Tao's reaction to his words. But Tao just stares at his sheets, still clenching his fists. "I knew that the fight would be good though. I'm glad it went well." "Now. Tell me how you acquired those powers you have. I really would like to know." Tao gives no response. "I want to know...because see, you and me are alike in several ways. Ways you wouldn't even think of. For instance..". Roque grabs a vase from the coffee table to his right, and as soon as his hands touch the vase, it explodes. Tao gapes at what he just witnessed, and realization hits him. "You are from the same place I'm from. Where all of the other people locked up are from." Roque doesn't smile, but he still holds an inquisitive look on his face. "Interesting deduction, Tao Yuzi. Before you decide to bother me with anymore questions, I think its time I leave. I don't have all day to waste here." And with that, he gets up from his seat and gives a signal to the Peacekeepers, and then walks out the door, with the Peacekeepers marching right behind him. "Those lying bastards! Why the hell are they locking us up, when they are us?", Tao whispers to himself. He swings his legs over the bed, and gets up, heading towards the door. As soon as he opens the door, a nurse working at her station jumps up and presses an alarm button. A loud, piercing sound erupts throughout the whole detainment center, and Tao immediately decides what he was going to do. He turns on his heels and jolts down the hospital hallway. He hears several curses and footsteps right behind him, but he doesn't turn around. He keeps running. As he continues to sprint, he looks into a room to his right, where an old man is laying on his bed watching T.V. When the old man sees Tao jolt pass his room, he smiles and puts two thumbs up. Tao turns into another hallway that leads into the main prison. This seems like suicide, but there is only one way in and one way out of the prison. Tao busts through the door that separates the hospital from the prison, and he continues to run. He reaches the detainment area, and then comes up with a quick plan. Closing his eyes, he focuses on fire alarms in the area. Each of them break, causing the sprinkler systems to spray wildly, and causing all of the cells to open. The detainees jump for joy as they free themselves from the cells they were in for so long. Peacekeepers begin to flood the area, fighting off the escaping prisoners. Tao, knowing that the rioters would distract them, continues his run out of the area. He passes the cafeteria, the guard station (which was empty due to the prison riot), and the admittance area before seeing the elevator the leads to freedom. Desperate for escape, Tao runs faster as he gets closer to the elevator. When he gets about 10 feet away from the elevator, a wall explodes on the side of him, and he is pummeled by rubble. He falls to the ground, bleeding from the side of his face and coughing because of the dust from the explosion. Roque emerges from the hole in the wall, his face filled with pure rage. "You firetrucking bastard! I'm going to kill you for this!", he growls as he jumps towards Tao, attempting to grab him. Before Roque could touch him, Tao rolls over, and Roque's hand comes in contact with the ground, making it explode. Both Roque and Tao are sent flying in opposite directions. Tao hits the ground hard, but jumps back up. The cloud of dust from the explosion is soon replaced by black smoke, and Tao looks in horror as lava seeps from the area Roque blew up. "Damn!", Tao says as he books for the elevator again. The lava continues to rise, melting everything it touches, and moving fast towards the elevator. Tao can hear Roque screaming in pain from being engulfed by lava, but he doesn't turn around. He makes it to the elevator, and quickly jabs the button on the wall. A slight hum emerges from the doors, but the elevator doesn't come down immediately. Tao turns around to see if the lava was close, and it was. He also sees Roque standing up, his seemingly melting. "There are others like me, Tao Yuzi", he shouts. "You are going to die a sad death you little bitc-". He is cut off as his body is hit with a wave of more lava. The elevator doors open up, and Tao jumps in right before lava engulfs the area he was just recently standing in. The doors close quickly after he enters, cutting off the lava from getting inside. Tao slams his index finger on the "1" button, and the elevator shoots up. I'm going to make it. I'm going to make it! The elevator doors open slowly, and Tao jolts out of the elevator and finds himself outside in a desert. Tears of joy fall from his face. He was finally free. Free from the torment of living underground. But then the area under him explodes, sending him flying into the air. Tao hits the ground hard, his head smacking it. His vision begins to get blurry. He gets up, blood and sand in his hair, and tries to walk, but he falls back down. Then, if he wasn't mistaken, a man in a yellow Peacekeeper outfit emerges from the sand, and that is the last thing Tao sees before he blacks out...
