kingdomlanelover 494 Posted October 14, 2014 For those of you who haven't played Final Fantasy Type-0, I'm here to give you my opinion about it before trying out the HD version. 1.) Type-0 is a hard game to beat, very hard. Even on the easiest difficulty, you have to spend a lot of time leveling up your party. 2.) If you die on a mission, you have to restart that mission all over again, regardless of how far you got. You lose all of your progress and items you have acquired. 3.) There are certain enemies that can beat you with one hit. Remember how frustrating the Mysterious Figure was in Birth by Sleep? This time, these bosses can kill you instantly, and they aren't a secret. 4.) The camera can't keep up with the enemies or the player for that matter. The corridors are so small at times that you can't see anything! I know Square said they were going to try and fix some things before the game came out, but it was a frustrating game to play. Do these issues with the game surprise you, or are you going to get it regardless? Leave your thoughts below!
Ven983 490 Posted October 14, 2014 I will get it regardless, as long as the story keeps me intrigued, I will play a game no matter how challenging it gets.
Isaix 924 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Challenge in video games is a good thing,so I have no problem with any of these. Edited October 14, 2014 by Isaix
teatimed 16 Posted October 14, 2014 This does worry me a little, but I enjoy difficult games so long as it is not a problem with the game that makes it difficult. I enjoy games where you can practice and overcome a steep learning curve. I will also be buying this game no matter what just for the Final Fantasy XV Demo code
Silent 824 Posted October 15, 2014 Yea i saw recent footage that shows the camera acting up pretty bad. hopefully they fix that.
Rinax 473 Posted October 15, 2014 (edited) I've played the original on emulator (I felt bad, but no PSP and whatnot) and it was challenging at times. However, with the amount of characters you can play as, it was really fun. Each character plays differently, but that's part of the game (and it's fun, to be redundant). I don't know anything about the camera changes with the HD demo, but whatever is wrong with it, I hope it gets fixed. Oh, and the story is definitely worth it. Edit: Kill-sights. They are very useful. Utilise them to your advantage. Edited October 15, 2014 by Rinax
Sora96 17,256 Posted October 15, 2014 Bigger screen will help with that. Also they did comment on how hard it was and are adding easier modes.
hatok 6,413 Posted October 15, 2014 Bigger screen will help with that. Also they did comment on how hard it was and are adding easier modes. Basically this, though for some reason it looks like they zoomed in the camera for this remake, which is a really odd decision

Dave 5,715 Posted October 15, 2014 Bring what on? The image is of the Elite Knight from Dark Souls, which is regarded as a notoriously difficult and often unforgiving game. The allusion is being used to indicate that the difficulties of Type-0 are just another day in the life of the Knight. 5 Alph Art, liamaru, Marth and 2 others reacted to this

KH4Real 749 Posted October 26, 2014 You know people will probably selling them separately. More chance if it comes on a disc. It will be probably a code.
