Dio Brando 5,810 Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) it's been a year since we've heard or seen any new footage or important (AKA HYPE worthy) news from kh3 i mean like square is treating kh3 as if it were an overprotective japanese fathers teenage daughter. i noticed that the creativity of this section of the forum has faded and im wondering if im the only one thinking ''whats taking so firetrucking long?'' i mean i know they just swiched to the''unreal engine 4''---->(HYPE worthy?) and this is the year of II.5 but Damn Square''why you do dis?''no footage whatsoever what do you guys think? Ummm what did we see actually of the game to be hyped about? Aside from the E3 trailer which ultimately is a proof of concept trailer of the game's alpha stage,and less than a minute of footage,we haven't seen anything ...not a single concrete thing or a recent build that we can get excited about nor any tidbits of the story aside from Sora holding the Master Keeper keyblade that Aqua and Eraqus used to wield. kh3 began development in 2010-_- That means absolutely nothing if the development didn't progress.Any company can say:Hey we began working on this game........then put it on hiatus until they finish whatever other project they're working on KH3 was never supposed to be announced at E3 2013.The reason it was announced is because they want to keep fans from jumping ships to other franchises and tell them:Hey guys we're working on it but we have no idea when it'll be done Edited October 13, 2014 by Annoying D Waluigi 1 Sendou Aichi reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Fenrissychros 167 Posted October 13, 2014 Not so long ago, we had a little discusion in this forum about where was KH3 realistically gonna release....everyone was saying ''Yeah, by the end of 2015 we Suuurely will have it already'' I said that first they had to finish and release FFXV, which will not release until end of 2015 if we are lucky, and Then fully start with KH3, which will take another 1 to 2 years. When I said 2017 september as a minimum, everyone jumped to slit my throat... WilliamNiira 34 Posted October 13, 2014 The hype for me hasn't really faded, it's still there. I know that if I've waited 9 years, I can wait a lot longer. Now that FFXV only needs the final steps, to put together the whole game, they allowed nomura to go and start kh3 already. So with luck by 2017 we will get it. And I'm hyped just hearing anything KH related.They're trying to make it the best they can. Whatever decisions they decide to make (not like we have any influence) its for a stumnung game and not an early release date or to hold us over with footage out trailers. Yeah we have heard about them switching to Unreal Engine 4. I'm not upset about any new trailer shown, because the game is still being made. I'm a patient woman and it's not like I have a PS3 or PS4. I can wait longer. And till then, I hope to get a PS4 before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out. Ven983 490 Posted October 13, 2014 I haven't minded the lack of news. FFXV is Squares next biggest game and they should definitely focus on marketing that thing up (as its hype was almost dead).
