They ARE both based on the same source material.... -- "Muppet Treasure Island (1996)" -- "Treasure Island (2002)" Personally, I'm open to either one. Still, which would YOU choose? MysticVriska 70 Posted October 8, 2014 I haven't seen the Muppet version, but the Muppet movies are usually great from what i've heard, so I'd probably be ok with that.
