If Dreamworks worlds were allowed in KHIII...

First of all, I understand that there will be no movies from Dreamworks Animation represented in KHIII for obvious reasons. However, if they were, which film would you want a world to be based on the most?

 

For me, it would have to be How to Train Your Dragon. It's by no means my favorite Dreamworks film, but it work wonderfully into the Kingdom Hearts universe, and would be a great world to reintroduce flight, this time with dragons! I'd also love to see a Kung Fu Panda world, since having Po as a party member would be a blast.

Honestly, out of all the Dreamworks movies that WOULDN'T work, it'd be Shrek. For obvious reasons.

 

I agree with the previous two posts, though. How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda would both probably work, though I think the latter would hit a little too close to home. ie. Mulan.

 

I also think Monsters vs. Aliens could work. It's not that great of a movie, but the concept and characters would be interesting.

I think How To Train Your Dragon world would be the only one franchise that would work in KH,its hard to imagine any other movie being able to fit into KH,I mean I dont think Sora being partners with Seinfeld bee or Will Smith fish seems right,it just doesnt seem to fit.Kung Fu Panda would work,its competent enough I think,but Im not sure being partners with Jack Black would sit well with me,but thats just a personal factor.

Now that I think about though,I think there is one movie Id like to see be in KH.

Road to El Dorado could fit pretty well I think,its got a nice fantasy element in it,it has a great concept for a boss as well.

The world could also center around the idea of them finding el dorado of course,and once the whole decleration of god thing is bestowed upon the main two up there,the villian could conjure up heartless as a test to see if our main protaginists truly are gods and could get rid of them,that could be when they call upon Sora and the gang to get rid of the heartless so they can keep up with the role of being Gods.

Thats just my idea,but if happened like that I could see this movie turning into a world.

none of the Dreamworks films really fit the KH style. Disney Castle wouldn't exactly be neighbors with Berk. 

In my personal opinion, as awesome as it would be to have Hiccup be a party member, or a Kung Fu mini game, it wouldn't feel like KH anymore.

Well I think El Dorado would have a chance personally,it seems like the most fitting out of all the movies.

And as far as Berk not fittiing goes,I think its more fitting than you think. I say that cause one of Pixars movies Brave,had a very similiar kind of feel and setting,plus some critics say that Brave feels alot like something that would come out of Disneys animations,so I think with that in mind Berk could really fit in.

You have Sora train as a viking along with the others to fight dragons,and as plot develops maybe make it so you can help hiccup defend dragons in the training ground.As for how heartless would come to play?Well,make some of them dragons themselves.We know from the movie that a horde of dragons help the big boss dragon feed,why not write it so that big boss dragon is a heartless and is corrupting dragons to help him feed.

I think with an idea like that it could work.

Plus think of it gameplay wise,it be really cool to fight heartless on dragons,at least I think it would

That seems legit enough to me. Maleficent could try to use Heartless Dragons to rule Berk. 

I'll try to watch the film: I think I have an old VHS of it. 

As for Big Hero, it looks pretty damn good, and based on the woefully written novelization ( not worth the 6 buck s I paid for it ) it seems to have a decent amount of potential, and could easily be a mini game. Baymax could be a summon.

I was wondering if anyone would say Puss in boots it's filled with action have beautiful areas like the giant's castle to San Ricardo that would be my number one. (party member Puss in boots) 

 

Then of course HTTYD world would be epic party member (Hiccup with a mix of Toothless)

 

And there was someone here who mentioned Monsters Vs Aliens whoever did that would be great have you seen the movie it's filled with adventure from beginning to start. (party member Susan or B.O.B)

Well if we are talking Dreamworks, the only movie that is memorable to me is The Shrek Franchise. I can see how it wouldn't work, but if you stick to the main story it shouldn't be too bad, the only problem character i see is the Fairy god mother.
