Sora96 17,256 Posted September 25, 2014 They're still choosing worlds, hiring UI designers etc. There's no chance they can get this game done in less than two years. This isn't the PS2 era, this is a 1080p game, much harder to develop. And this is not Square Enix's highest priority. Not to mention Nomura's mad at Square Enix for making him step down as director FFXV. Nomura must now defy history. Every main series Final Fantasy game director to step down as director of that game has left the company within 24 months. Still want KH3 in 2016? You'd get an un-finished game. 9 Rahin The Gamer, Nero Kunivas, littleTSUBAME and 6 others reacted to this

MarkXIIII 106 Posted September 25, 2014 To be honest I'm sick of this. By now I feel they should do KHIII without Nomura. I'm sick of his forced plot changes in order to bring back Characters just because they are popular. Xion would have been so much more popular as 'the one who actually died' and I still miss the 'heartless' Roxas. I bet some new director focusing on the games so far could do an awesome job just by trying to satisfy the fans and not by trying to incorporate zillions of new mechanics and graphics. If they just made KHIII in a somewhat better graphic than KHII and stayed true to wrapping the story up, it would be out by next year and be actually good. And, please, WHO really thought KHIII OR FFXV would be out before 2020? They even stated that they just made up some trailers not even connected to the games in order to shut up the whining fans. MarkXIIII 106 Posted September 25, 2014 Nomura got megalomania from FFXV. He should have stepped down years ago. I bet they'll come up with more $cows to milk. Next year will be 3D HD for sure. Even if it's just as a downloadable game, and the HD ReMIXes for PS4. Then they'll wrap up Chi in 2016 for Japan and 2017 will be re:CHI as another downloadable. some more portable shit for 2018 and in 2020 KHIII. but no-one will care anymore because people don't have infinite money and patience. And BTW, WHO seriously doubts Frozen will be in KHIII? Disney is going crazy about this shitty movie. They are even going to have a broadway musical, Once upon a time (yeah right if this was not Disney's choice!?), Sing-along movie [bUT NO 3D release in the US, WTF???????] all tis screams: we don't care about quality anymore, we just want money Too bad 21st cent. Disney, just as modern Square Enix, has turned out to be just a money-hungry company. It's hard to remember they made great movies before they decided to flood the market with cheap 3D crap and SHUT DOWN THEIR FRICKING 2D DEPARTMENT! And if you ask now what this has to do with KHIII, Disney is strongly involved in it and they're gonna make sure Frozen is in it and it does not include any mature scenes, no blood, no kisses and so on... TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted September 25, 2014 Yes they are still picking worlds, but we don't know how many worlds they have chosen already and how many worlds there will be, hopefully a little more then KH2 had but if it's the same that's ok too. The UI hiring is probably not setting them back that far since they said that KH3 development is going according to schedule. Yes I want to be hopefull and think that it will come out in 2016 but again I'm also a realist and could see it coming out in 2017 as well if need being but until proven otherwise I'll keep saying late 2016 6 The Rocky Shoe, Ceriraye, MasterRoxas13 and 3 others reacted to this

CJ Smith 123 Posted September 25, 2014 Sora96, your guess is as good as ours but don't go off stating that we, the fans or even you know everything. Square likes to keep things like this hush-hush. Kingdom Hearts 3 has been going through development since 2010, we got trailers in 2013, Noruma left FFXV recently to focus on KH3. At this rate of most of the things you've mentioned Sora96, Kingdom Hearts 3 may never get a release. Bottom line you don't know all the facts, we don't know all the facts, we have no idea where they are at in development, so unless anything comes from Noruma himself we need to shut up about "One fan has all the answers and they're right". Sorry man but its true. 12 Exiblade7, Hero of Light XIV, AaySquare and 9 others reacted to this
littleTSUBAME 483 Posted September 25, 2014 Too bad 21st cent. Disney, just as modern Square Enix, has turned out to be just a money-hungry company. Well, what'd you expect? They are companies after all, and companies usually aim at making money. Especially when they get bigger and more popular, like Disney and SE for example. Not saying that I'm pleased with them tho. I'm fine with Disney since I tend to like their newer movies (at least compared to Snow White and Sleeping Beauty etc.), but SE is starting to annoy me a little. If they manage to make FFXV a good game and not prolong the wait for KH3 for too long, I'll forgive them. 2 SkullMajora and The Rocky Shoe reacted to this
Shulk 8,623 Posted September 25, 2014 I don't blame any of the old FF directors for leaving, Square's been going downhill anyway. They're doing well on their own now. Also, I'm at the point where I'm not even expecting KHIII until the 2020s. It's been eight years since FFXV was announced, and given that KHIII has the same director, that's not a very good sign in terms of release date. 2 Caity and Sendou Aichi reacted to this

If they manage to make FFXV a good game and not prolong the wait for KH3 for too long, I'll forgive them. Yeah but with Disney the problem is that they don't differentiate between two fundamentally different topics. On the one hand, classic Disney was focused on family entertainment and classic hand drawn animation ART. Therefore the older movies are tailored more toward a broader audience of younger and more mature viewers and artists alike. Modern-day disney just tries to release one flick after the other regardless of their quality as their target audience has become a tween/kid audience. They just cut all mature content to secure a G/PG rating and try to convey modern life lessons in each movie. Seriously, I can't remember seeing a single movie made purely for entertainment and art rather than avoiding every teeny tiny bit that could be seen as remotely offensive, immoral or politically incorrect. - I DO NOT SUPPORT OFFENSIVE OR RACIST content at all, but I do not try to hide the instances seeing as offensive in modern context in the old original context they belong in. I mean, come on! Frozen could have been a great movie if -they didn't have the urge to make it CGI 3D -they cut some childish moments -they stuck to a classic fairy tale ending -they didn't succumb their urge to make it a feminist beak in movies -they didn't include some modernly awkward slapstick humor in classical context... like what they did with the Maleficent movie. OK as a standalone but they frickin tried to convey that the original was a lie! And all their modern HD releases destroying the original feels of the classic animation movies due to smearing noise reduction just to make it appeal to kids nowadays. I would be totally fine if they split into two separate companies. Modern "Disney" making cheap movies for kids. and a classic "WALT Disney company" focused in the faithful heritage of 2D animation and the classic animated canon Seriously, ever since they cut Walt Disney from their logos they are speeding toward some immoral greedy policy I don't remember seeing in Disney as a kid. 1 daxvzukss reacted to this

KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted September 25, 2014 Oh ye of little faith, why do you doubt? Have you forgotten that Nomura has decieved us about this title for so long? The whole time he has said KH3 must wait until after FFVS13 (now FFXV) was out wash when KH3 was in production. Haley Joel Osment earlier this year (in May, June or July, I forgot the month) said some things about KH3 that, in a way, should not be said. A month or so later, he says he can't say a thing about the title, which means voice acting has begun over the summer as he said. Nomura is probably telling us this stuff because he does not want us too hyped for the title. They probably have a list of worlds and chose a few, but not enough to make an announcement so he decides to bend the truth a little. Also, the beta trailer was shown OVER A YEAR AGO and the beta stage I have read is only a few months long; in this case, probably half to three-quarters of a year. The hiring of more people is so this project development can go faster on top of development already going faster since he is sole director now. You all doubt Nomura and he has always delivered. Why? I won't know, but I have learned that he bends the truth enough to bring down the hype. Do not forget, there is still Jump Festa 2015 in December. By then, the whole entire Osaka team would be focused on KH3. My point is, don't lose hope yet and don't doubt Nomura, the man who delivered to all the millions of us fans around the world every time. 1 Ceriraye reacted to this
