Sora96 17,256 Posted September 23, 2014 Famitsu.com have announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will appear in the issue of Famitsu Weekly releasing on September 25, 2014, with an interview with director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura. The article will also contain some new screenshots of the game, as well as impressions from the magazine's editors and writers. You can view a preview of this article below. I initially thought it was from Days 1.5 for a few seconds. Still looks most like Lea from this cutscene to me though. Still looks most like Lea from this cutscene to me though. Can't. It is promoting 2.5. I think it must be in Hollow Bastion. I remember now the cutscene from 3D. Yeh that is the most similar one. This screenshot: (a reminder that Axel doesn't go anywhere near the castle in KH2) Is Nomura hinting at some development regarding 3D or is he just going off on a tangent for some reason? Because I suspect (and hope) it's the former. Besides it is better to appear as a game also cause it is the most important title after kh2. It may still end up as 3ds cause of production of kh3. AaySquare 445 Posted September 23, 2014 I think in one way or another Dream Drop Distance will get a HD upgrade as it is a important title in the series. Also if they are thinking of continuing releasing Kingdom Hearts game every year, I think it's possible that for next year we might get this game separately and not as cinematic videos but playable because we know that Kingdom Hearts III is definitely not releasing next year. Be it cutscenes or a full on remaster game for PS3, I just want SOMETHING to be done to DDD before Kingdom Hearts III comes out. I really hope this will be a sign of hope in that direction, because that game was way too important to ignore. For a series where each game has a pivotal plot twist, DDD was the plot twist of the entire series. That's how badly it needs to be made into an HD ReMIX.
