Appearance and stats are actually references to the consoles they are based on. Verts .... assets are a reference to the Xboxs processing power and Blancs are a reference to the wii's lack of processing power. Blanc has the highest defense stat due to Nintendos consoles being incredibly durable. Noires eyes are red like the light of a PS3 when turned off and turn green in her HDD like the light of a PS3 turned on. Actually now that I think about it I can't say much triva about Neptune. As she's based on an unreleased console that never saw the light of day most of her design is original without taking inspiration from consoles. Scantily clad moe anime girls got my attention (I was like 14 don't judge me) but I never really gave it that much thought. Then after making friends with Frisk on psn I saw him playing Neptunia and was all Oh I remember that, any good? Still didn't give much thought to it. Then it was on a flash sale on psn so I just decided to get it. Made me laugh with the simplest of jokes and memes and references.
