Frisk 3,460 Posted December 9, 2016 Too bad I was looking at the guide manual *spoilers for the number of bosses in the game* THERE'S ONLY SIX STORY BOSSES IT'S FREAKING RIDICULOUS FINAL FANTASY VII HAD THAT MANY STORY BOSSES IN MIDGAR ALONE After 11 years of waiting it couldn't live up to the hype but I mean there's characters that appear once and never show up again Lots of things happen offscreen Just very disappointing story-wise and you'd think from Nomura's original game and the years they had for this one There would be an amazing story but it's just decent at best 1 Geralt reacted to this
MythrilMagician 6,963 Posted December 9, 2016 It is nice owo But FFXV failed in too many areas for me to ignore So my faith in video games is lost for the time being, good thing I work at a video game store owo Not the video games DxThe gameplay was great A lot of the story was great but it did fail to explain a few things Camera is awful Sidequests are repetitive No choice between the imperial and metric units Prompto has a damn awful AI Blind Ignis fought better damn it (major spoiler here, don't look until you've finished at least chapter 9) But other than that, great game 1 Geralt reacted to this
Geralt 4,874 Posted December 9, 2016 No game could live up to the complete hype of 11 years, Rubes. That's practically impossible, because the hype for FFXV was out of this world. People expect too much. But as I said improvements inbound. 8D

Frisk 3,460 Posted December 9, 2016 That's why I said it couldn't live up to the hype But if it had a coherent well crafted story that would be nice Too bad it didn't, story jumps around, too many important things happen offscreen Characters were included because they were in trailers but only appear once never to be heard from again Everyone hates FFXIII but the story in that was better put together, XV's is too jumpy and abrupt Just my opinion as someone who plays these types of games for the story, it had moments but sadly that's all 1 Geralt reacted to this

People expect too much. But as I said improvements inbound. 8D One of these improvements had better be the addition of a metric system option. We don't use imperial in Australia (heck only like 5 countries do) so how the hell am I supposed to know how far from my destination I am? It annoys me also because other games have the option to switch. 1 Geralt reacted to this
Frisk 3,460 Posted December 9, 2016 *about the bosses* Six is embarrassing just another flaw the game had, if each fight was original maybe But it was basically mash and fight the same way you fight all of them

Geralt 4,874 Posted December 9, 2016 I mean I love story too. My favorite part of games. But as long as the story just isn't outright bad, then I mean okay I guess. And besides they did say they were gonna add to the story and stuff. So hopefully over time it becomes more coherent. It's a good thing patches exist. Frisk 3,460 Posted December 9, 2016 We'll se what patches do, all these flaws just lead to whether or not they'll fail like this in FFVIIR and KHIII Story was subpar that's what it comes down to, they tried to accomplish a lot but it's too short for it to work on me Just my opinion, I'll probably be the minority here but it's just a growing trend of games skimping on story lately Now I can go and see if FFVI has as amazing a story as everyone claims 1 Geralt reacted to this

MythrilMagician 6,963 Posted December 9, 2016 Don't expect too much from 6. I haven't played it but I know how these people are like. 7, 8 and 10 get a hell of a lot of praise and while they are fantastic, those people exaggerate over how good it is. They make it seem like those games are the gods of the video game industry. 1 Geralt reacted to this
Geralt 4,874 Posted December 9, 2016 Here's hoping FFXV is on the backburner until then for me Just make sure you don't turn the backburner on. That's No Man's Sky. Now No Man's Sky compared to FFXV on hype levels and the expectations set for them. FFXV was close enough to the levels set to it, but No Man's Sky practically hit the complete bottom of it's own hype and expectation levels. Frisk 3,460 Posted December 9, 2016 One man's lie is false advertising false marketing When I replay FFXV one day maybe I'll like it, currently it just makes me feel bleh and not in a good way like feels Found my DS and FFIV on GBA, I need my DS charger >w> Then I'll play it for ten minutes and get bored since the opening is my favorite part uwu Also need the DS remake again, I also have VI on PS1 but the loading between battles I'm too rich to wait owo

The whole rest of the studio said nothing about the falsity of such ads and claims. They're totally in it together. Sean is just the front man. Plus i'm sure plenty of Sony Playstation peoples saw the game through development and they too said nothing. And they ran the marketing. And Nice They have the old FF games on Steam. owo Edited December 9, 2016 by Geralt
MythrilMagician 6,963 Posted December 9, 2016 Apparently they updated No Man's Sky Still though They stuff they did Uncool I wanted to preorder it, but I hesitated Don't know why I'm glad I did, it got a lot of complaints But I'm not the type to not play a game because of what others say I might get it later when it's on sale

Geralt 4,874 Posted December 9, 2016 Apparently they updated No Man's Sky Still though They stuff they did Uncool They did. Seems cool, but compared to all the stuff that was allegedly supposed to be in the game it's not enough to even make up for it yet. But they say the update was the foundation for much more, so we'll see. -shrug- Burn that garbage one man's lie fwoosh I have 1-2 ps1, 4 on gba, 5-6 ps1, had 3 and 4 on ds but sold them for money need them again Video games suck lately I'm off to bed to go work at gamestop tomorrow and tell everyone not to buy anything But it's your job to make people buy things, not not buy them. Oh boy. Disgruntled employee alert!!!! Goodnight, Rubes! Have a good night sleep and a fantastic day at work. 1 Frisk reacted to this
