I'm real excited to see the so called "Prolouge to Road To Ninja". I got a feeling that the one-shot manga made for the movie is gonna be this episode. The rest... well, I have no idea what to expect.

Well they aren't horrible, but there's like no real point in watching them. Since they aren't canon, and have some of the stupidest story lines If the one shot is made into an episode, I might watch that. But I honestly think they should just stick to going on hiatus 1 Firaga reacted to this

I'll admit that some storylines are bullshit (Allied Mom Force -_-), but not ALL of them suck. I mean, even right now, the filler's had a good run with so far. We got the mini arcs for the Seven Mist Swordsman, the Chikara Arc, the little arc with the Sound Four, the Hayate arc... heck, even this Tatewaki arc seems fun. Aside from the eating, of course. lol It's still pretty cool to see ANBU Yamato AND the Akatsuki hatching a plan in a point in the story where we, the viewers, don't even know who they are yet. Some of them might be interesting, and then you realize, man this isn't even canon. So basically it's irrelevant There have been a few interesting arcs, but over all I just skip them now. I use to watch filler though, some were cool, some were decent, some were boring as hell. But none of it was exactly important, so yeah No problem with others watching filler, just don't like to myself

Look, I'm all for story, but just because the manga has no record of a certain event, doesn't mean it didn't happen OR that it's not important. This anime has a habit of cutting out, reversing, or even adding in new material to the story, mostly for censorship reasons. Hell, the fight between TenTen and Temari didn't have more than 5 panels in the manga, yet they gave it an episode in the anime and expanded it. Is that filler? DId that match NOT happen? Ok let me correct myself, it happened in the ANIME, not the MANGA. But the Manga is what the story is CANONICALLY, unless Kishimoto says something like "Oh that's canon now". But odds are he won't, so within the universe of Naruto, no that stuff didn't happen. It was simply put in so that the manga could get ahead of the anime. Some fillers even set themselves up to be wrong (not on purpose), such as in Part 1 they said the Tsuchikage is said to use some sort of insect jutsu. But look at the Tsuchikage now, he uses Dust Release and Earth Release lol 1 Firaga reacted to this

If a filler's story sucks, it's just not worth watching. But there are some good fillers out there. 2 Hei and Firaga reacted to this

Firaga 5,947 Posted May 4, 2013 NARUTO SHIPPUDEN EPISODE 311: PROLOUGE TO ROAD TO NINJA - REVIEW So, for those of you who don't know, around the time where the newest Naruto movie, Road To Ninja, was getting hyped up, Mashashi Kishimoto, the creator of the Naruto manga AND the writer for this movie made a one-shot manga that would serve as a prolouge to the movie's events. The newest anime episode took that one-shot and adapted it into the show. Now, if you've already read the one-shot, you know what to expect in this episode. Personally, I enjoyed it. Yeah, it was mostly comedy and didn't have any action to speak of, but, that's not what the story is about: it's about hyping people up for the movie, if they haven't seen it already, or just want to see the one-shot in anime form, by going over the themes present in the movie. Ironically, so, the entire episode centers around events that happen in the movie, but reversed... http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Prologue_of_Road_to_Ninja Sort of a omage to the fact that the movie itself has reverse personalities and all that jazz. Anyways, I liked the episode alot. I think this is the first time we've seen the Hidden Leaf Eleven care so much about the fact that Naruto is a lonely guy, especially Rock Lee, who organizes the events of the episode just so that Naruto doesn't have to spend a day of R&R by himself, playing cards with Shadow Clones... Speaking of that, who knew Naruto was such a good poker player. lol "He's a POKA PLAYA!" Calm down, Joan, your face is gonna melt. -__- As for Episode 312: We're back in the war and back with filler, where it seems Rock Lee (ironically the star of this episode since he played a big part in this week's episode), meets up with a man named Master Chen. It seems that Rock Lee met Chen in Part 1 flashback (Ugh. -__-), when he fought him and suffered the brunt of an attack, it seems, called the "Dragon's Eye". So, the question is: what's this Chen guy doing in the war? I for one think this episode's gonna have a lot of "Return Of The Dragon" type stuff. This IS Rock Lee after all. And for me, that's kickass. 1 Weedanort reacted to this

Jake Granbell 23 Posted May 9, 2013 (edited) NARUTO'S FINAL STAND (spoilers ahead you have been warned) So if anyone has read naruto shippuden 629 there is spoilers ahead. In the latest panel it shows naruto outta of chakra mode and with his regular clothes torn. Naruto looks as if he is going to drop soon. As a naruto fan this is crucial in the series if naruto loses his footing in the next chapter then the 4th hokages efforts and the ninja alliance could be jeopardized. But do you guys think naruto can hold on or do you think he has reached the end? Jiraiya's Disciple 631 Posted May 9, 2013 He'll hold on...There wouldn't be a story if he didnt. I hope he meets the Rikudō Sennin Soon though
Hazimie 1,595 Posted May 9, 2013 (edited) I got a feeling that he will getting a Rinnegan soon since he has 8 tailed beast's chakra and just one more from the Hachibi.....anyways,i think they will victorious with the help of Minato since he carried the other half of Kurama's chakra and he did say that he have a present for Naruto,so i'm guessing the chakra was the present for Naruto to win this war... VanitasTheBest 196 Posted May 9, 2013 Naruto will definitely end this war so there's no doubt that he will hold on. But I'm not sure if he'll be the one who defeats Madara. I think Sasuke will defeat him

Kaneki Ken 1,516 Posted May 9, 2013 YES I did yesterday. I lost my sanity reading the chapter. I had no idea Rin became a Jinchuriki. That was Mindblowing! And Obito gave us his true reason why he is pushing through with his goals. 1 Firaga reacted to this
