outbackjim21 83 Posted November 26, 2015 Lightning isn't groundbreaking, every single point that the author stated was exactly what happened to cloud in theFF7 universe, just because lightning is a woman doesn't change the fact her entire character development is a ripoff of cloud's. The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 11, 2015 I loved XIII and XIII-2, and I'm sure that I'll love Lighting Returns as well when I get it! But you know, it's funny! A lot of people seem to have a distaste for these games, kind of like how many people don't like the Star Wars Prequels! There are those people that love the XIII trilogy, some that are okay with it, and some that are downright resentful of it! Honestly, I love the XIII Trilogy, and yes, I've played other numbered entries in the series such as I, III, IV, and Crisis Core! (If you count that as part of the numbered series, since it's the VII-0 of the VII series, so yeah.) Well technically all the Type-0 and Agito games are in the same universe, same with XV.
