Namine felt Kirby's hand. She smiled. When they reached her house, she opened the door and let Kirby enter first. 

"Go ahead." she said. Namine's house was big, so it felt nice to have company. Namine quickly went upstairs to her room. 

"Kirby, go ahead and sit. I'll be back real soon. And when I do so, I'll cook you some dinner." she said, with a smile. She 

entered her room and took all her drawings from her wall, tore them apart, and threw the pieces away. She didn't want anyone

to see them. That took about 2 min. She went back downstairs. "Ah. Sorry to make you wait. Now! I'll cook dinner for you!" 

 

Ventus eyes widened when he saw Tails jump that high. He was actually amazed. "Tails sure has some skills. Let's see Roxas' next move." 

he said to himself.

After reaching Namine's home, she opened up the door and welcomed Kirby inside. Still carrying the large basket of goods, he went in. After entering Namine's home, Kirby stood there and looked around in awe. What a gorgeous home! He smiled even more.

 

"Whoa...." Kirby muttered in amazement.

 

He snapped out of his trance as Namine offered him to sit down while she took care of something. He nodded at her and walked over to a table. Before he sat down, he placed the large basket on the table and started to sort throught it. He took out the smaller basket, some fruits, and the ribbon he got earlier. 

 

He put the fruits he selected in the little basket, and then proceeded to tie the pink ribbon around it. He tied it into a rather crude looking bow, but he was proud of it. After that, he started to sort through the rest of the large basket, separating the fruits, vegetables, and other food on the table. 

 

When Namine came downstairs, Kirby's eyes lit up and he smiled once again.

Kirby swiftly walked over to Namine and offered to help. It's the least he could do for her! With the rest of the food sorted out on the table, that's one job done. He realized he hadn't eaten much for a while, so he was pretty famished. He smiled innocently at her.

"Okay then!" said Namine. "It will be Spaghetti!" After 20 minutes or so, it was done. She lead Kirby to a small dinner hall. She placed Kirby's plate on the table, and 

served him the Spaghetti. She went back to the kitchen and came back in a flash with some iced tea. Namine also served some iced tea for Kirby. After she was done 

serving for herself, she sat down and smile. "Y'know, it's great to have dinner with someone." she said. And by her tone of voice, you could tell she was happy.

As time passed, dinner was finally ready. Kirby followed Namine to a table. He then took a seat and looked at the disk before him. It looked good, but most importantly, it smelled good! He had never had this "Pasghetti" before. Namine then took off for a brief moment, and came back with some beverages. He smiled warmly at her as she sat down.

 

"Poyo!", he thanked her.

 

He heard Namine say how it's nice to have dinner with someone. He nodded his head in sheer agreement, then began to eat his meal. It tasted like heaven to him, especially the tomatoes! Those were his favorite. Namine is so sweet. So kind. How could a girl like this live on her own? Unlike himself, she must have parents, or siblings at least. He thought this because he noticed empty chairs around the table. Hmm. He'll ask her about it later.

 

In what seemed like no time at all, Kirby had cleaned his plate. He sighed in satisfaction, patting his tummy. He happily took little sips of his drink as he waited for Namine to finish her share.

As delsin was on the way back with some fruit for the guys to munch on, he came across the dark mage and the young girl conversing. he hid around the nearest corner and listened. he heard something about a hex. he didnt know what to do about it. he couldnt confront them, and he didnt know what or whom they planned to hex, so he couldnt warn anybody. he decided the only thing he could do was get back to the team. he dashed home, and dropped down next to ventus. he wasnted to tell the others, but with so little information, he would just worry them. he kept it to himself for now. "ive got some snacks for eveybody! right here in the bag!" he turned to ventus. "Watcha reading?" he would join the sparring later.

Vanitas nodded. This would be fun... If they got two charms maybe he could cast a hex on that pink haired kid... What was it, Kirby? "You head that way and I'll go look over here. Don't bother wasting money. Just snatch it." He left to go look on his end. Just a few minutes after, as if on cue right next to Dawn a merchant was selling some kind of metal charm. It was a gym badge of leader Roark in Sinnoh, however no one would know. The man was calling people over. "Anyone interested in a relic?"

 

Silver nodded slowly. He searched through his bags for maybe some charms he could make holy. "This is really dangerous now." Silver muttered. "This mage, whoever he is, we're his targets. And probably some other people too. We have to stay together if we're going to protect ourselves. We can't even go to the guards for help. They'll kill us." He gave Link a reassuring smile after picking up some holy water. "If we just get stronger and maybe find another light Mage, we'll easily get them."

 

Roxas was definitely taken by surprise with Tail's skill. All of a sudden he got a good whack on the back, and spun around. "O-Ow- hey!" He jumped back and went to smack Tail's with his sword once more. He needed to pay attention to where Tails move, or else he'll easily be defeated. "You won't get away with that again!"

"All so curious!" Alvin said, smiling. He had built this up, so he hoped this would be a pay off. He opened the lid all the way off, and handed the box to Minato. Inside, was a circular gold object. Upon closer inspection, one could press a button to open it. The inside was lined with pearl, but also held several gears. On the upper part was glass. It was a pocket watch! "If you think that's all it does, then you should be ashamed of yourself. Alvin doesn't do ordinary. It's enchanted to tell if someone is lying. If you are touching someone and the watch at the same time, it will glow red if they're lying, blue if they're telling the truth, and green if it's half true. But that's not all! If you show the glass part of the watch to someone you can see them later, by just asking the watch to show you where they are. Similar to a magic mirror I guess." Alvin explained the various functions to Minato. Alvin then looked back up at Corvo. "Practical and safe. I would've given you a sword or something, but the first weapon should always come from a father."

After Kirby was done, Namine was done as well. She smiled at Kirby and stood up from her chair. She took her plate and Kirby's.

Namine went to the kitchen and dropped the plates on the sink. "I'll wash them quickly." she said. "While I'm at it, Kirby, where would you like 

to sleep tonight? There's two main rooms: Mine, and my parent's room. They're not here by the way. You can either sleep in that room, mine, or in the 

living room. Your choice." she said, innocently. 

 

Ventus looked down to his book. "I'm... reading a book about... magic." he said, answering Delsin's question. "I know it's forbidden, but I want to learn more about it! 

And visit Chivia with Roxas someday. In Chivia, magic is allowed!"

Kirby sat on the chair, listening to Namine. He stopped sipping from his glass and tapped on his lips with his fiinger, thinking. He then came to the conclusion to sleep in Namine's room for tonight. That's because, deep down, he didn't really want her feeling lonely. He pointed upwards, roughly around the area of Namine's room. 

 

"Poyo.", he decided. 

 

However, first he needed to deliver that basket to Yu and Naomi before it got any darker. He hopped off of the chair and dashed into the living room. He grabbed the little basket and zipped back into the dinner hall. When he came back, he walked up to Namine and showed her the basket filled with fruit and tied with a pink ribbon. There was also a note in it that said, "To Yu and Naomi. Please take this gift as a token of apology. - Kirby." Even thought the majority of the text was taken from a story he read once, it was still nice. He held Namine's hand and asked if she would come with him to try and find Yu and Naomi's home.

Corvo sighed softly and leaned against the doorframe of the kitchen with a smile as he watched Alvin give the gift to Minato. For once he actually felt relaxed... Content. Well, he always kept his guard up but he was never happy like this before. He now had someone to care about; to guide. He felt a little cautious at the fact that the pocket watch was enchanted but they ARE in Chivia anyway where Magic is legal. The thing is that one still has to be careful in times like these... There has been political tension in the districts of Chivia and Asnia. Who knows what will happen with the Magic laws. Still, Alvin really outdone himself. "Wonder what he had to steal to get that." He mused to himself inaudible by everyone. "That watch will come in handy, Minato." Corvo said with a nod. He gave a soft smile to Alvin. "Thank you, brother." He realized something; he needed to get Minato something too. A sword maybe like Alvin said... But won't it be too soon?

Namine read what Kirby's note said. "Yu and Naomi? Hmm.. oh! They went to my shop earlier today. But, I don't know where they live."

 "And of course I'll help you look for them. We still have time before it gets too dark outside." she said, as she headed to the door and took her coat.

~Dawn Estheim~ "Mr. Merchant!" Dawn called out. "That is quite an amazing Relic! Do you have any more in the boxes behind you?"~Link Baxter~ "If we're careful enough, we could probably find a few other Light Mages in Farron." Link watched Silver pull a bottle out of his sack. At first, he had assumed it was merely drinking water, but he noticed a few strange labels on it. "What is that?" He asked, purely of Curiosity. Link could trust Silver, so he knew he wasn't in any danger.~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ "Woah!" Miles called out as Roxas came swinging. For wooden sticks, these swords sure hurt! Every single one of Roxas' attacks landed. He had overheard Ventus and Del talking about the Magic book Ven had. It gave him an idea that he would talk about later. For now, he needed to focus on Roxas. Hm, I can't use the same jumping trick twice, that would be way too predictable. Tails looked around the room to see if he could use anything to his advantage. Besides a few shelves, he hadn't anything that would help. Wait, shelves! Miles recovered, and rolled over to the left corner of the room, where two shelves were places side by side. He stood there, ready for Roxas to make a move.((Wasn't sure if I was allowed to control the Merchant or not. Also, sorry for posting so late, things happened over here))

Minato took the watch out of the box, and listened to what Alvin said about it. When Alvin had finished speaking, Minato said, "Wow. That's pretty cool, for what seems to be a simple watch." He then pressed the button on the watch, and showed it to both Corvo and Alvin. "I'm sure you already did this to your self, but no harm in doing it again," he said, after he was done. "Oh, and before I forget, thank you!" Minato added, realizing he nearly had done. When Corvo had thanked Alvin, Minato asked, "He's your brother?" not seeing the resemblance, "Or is it just a sign of friendship?"

He grabbed an apple for each of them out of the bag. "hey man, dont worry about explaning it to me. im all for magic." He bit into the apple. "Did i ever tell you about when i tried to learn it?"

The merchant shook his head. "I'm afraid not lass! You see, these relics are one of a kind. You cannot find them anywhere else!" He said, knocking on the badge to make a little 'ping' sound. "It makes music when you tap on it too. Because you're such a pretty little lass I'll sell it to ya for 10000 coin!" He turned around and began to search through his boxes. "I might have some lovely bracelets for ya too."

 

Silver set the bottle aside. "It's water enchanted with light magic. It's called holy water, and people use it to protect themselves and items from dark Magic." He suddenly took out a book from his bag and showed it to Link. "Now this is my favorite!" He said with a grin. "This is a spell book. I enchanted it myself. If you hold this book over someone who is suffering from an active curse or hex, it'll tell you what the curse or hex is and tell you how to stop it."

 

Roxas suddenly stopped, and crossed his arms. Wait. "Hey, we should go outside before we break something." He rubbed the back of his head. His parents would kill him if he messed anything up. Last time he sparred with Ventus inside the house his father freaked out.

 

Corvo chuckled. "Not literal brothers. Brothers in the line of work which is just as important and ticker than blood. Alvin is really the only person I trust." Corvo thought to himself for a moment. He didn't know for sure how much he trusted Alvin.

~Dawn Estheim~ "How perfect! I love Bracelets." Dawn used the oppertunity to snatch the Gym badge off the counter and run. She didn't know when he would notice, and she wasn't waiting around to find out. She ran around the corner, and behind a wall that had been vandalized. This was the most obvious meet place for her and Vanitas, after all.~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ "Huh... wha-?" Tails was slightly disappointed that he couldn't use his other trick to get to Roxas. "Wait, before we go out, I want to grab a snack and tell you guys an idea." He walked over to the bag that Del had brought in and picked out a peach- his favorite fruit. He took a bite, and with a full mouth, said: "Ventus, have you actually tried to use any of the magic in there? I mean, we're already wanted men- it wouldn't hurt us any more or less if you decided to practice Magic. In fact, it might help us find your father." Miles didn't like the idea of Magic. His parents had disappeared due to magic; He didn't know if it was from them using it, or from someone else using it. All he knew was that he would never see them again because of that. But, maybe if Magic caused the problem, it may be able to solve it. Maybe he could find both his parents, and the two brothers' Dad.~Link Baxter~ "No way!" Link liked the idea of it. He could save so many people from the darkness. Another idea popped into his head at the same time. "Do you have any protection Magic? Maybe something that would cast some sort of shield against Physical attacks?"

Kirby smiled at Namine yet again. While she went by the door to get her coat, Kirby followed. As he did, he walked to the door and held it open for her in a polite manner. Just like she did for him. He didn't have a coat himself, but if he could sleep outside under a tree all night, he'll be just fine. And just in case, he still had the star shard in his pocket.

The man turned back around with delight. "I have these here- hey!!! Thief!!!" He called, and looked around. Dawn was already out of sight. Meanwhile, Vanitas was already there at the wall waiting for Dawn. "Took you long enough." He said. In his hand was a little toy plushie of some kind of water diver. It was a plushie of a Big Daddy from Bioshock. In his other was a Bone Charm from Dishonored, but obviously no one would know that. "I snatched this toy off of some brat and I took this charm from some fool." He looked over to Dawn. "Get anything worthwhile?"

 

Roxas looked to Tails like he was crazy. He went and grabbed his own snack after telling Delsin thanks for the food. "Are you crazy?" Roxas asked. "Our parents will kill us." He thought for a moment. "Wait... I don't think we're actually wanted right now. They don't know who busted our mom out yet. We should hide her though. They would want her."

 

Silver grinned. "Yes way." He flipped in the book to look at some protection spells. "I've tried making the book respond to voice commands, but I haven't perfected it yet. The protection spells I have here are just magical shields and stuff. They're hard to learn since they're more advanced."

~Dawn Estheim~ "Right here!" She delightfully chirped as the Badge she whipped out swung around. "It's some sort of Merit Pin. Good enough?"~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ "What I mean is... They've probably noticed that she's missing from the site. Who do you think they're gonna blame for that? The only two known relatives she has. People are going to be after you two, and I don't think Swords and Agility are going to be enough." How rude of Tails. He had forgotten to thank Del for the food. "Thanks, by the way." he quickly added. "I've dealt with Guards before, and they're no cake walk. In fact, if it hadn't been for Magic, I wouldn't of been able to bust your mother out in the first place! I used an enchanted knife... dagger... sword thing... that knocked them out with a simple tap. If that's what a simple enchantment can do, imagine what a full blown spell will put out!"~Link Baxter~ "Oh. You mean, nothing that can create a barrier around a person, or a building maybe?" Link wanted to keep as many people safe as he could. If they had to go head to head against this Dark Mage, he wanted to be sure that no one would wander into the streets while it was going down.

Vanitas grinned as he looked at the pin. "Good find... It looks like it's made of some kind of metal so it'll be hard to break." He looked to the bone charm in his hand. "Let's place a hex on this first. For the pissy twin." He reached into his messenger bag and pulled out a pure black book. He searched through it for a while and finally came upon the right hex. "Perfect." He grinned and read the hex aloud to his partner. "Upon activation, the target's lungs will fill with the blood of his ancestors, causing the target to vomit blood and will be unable to breathe. Made by MX" The sound of it just got him excited. "The blood of his ancestors... Sounds great." He laughed. "I can't wait to see the look on the brother's face. The weaker one."

 

Roxas sighed. Tails was right. He didn't want to leave... But he had to. "I don't want my mom coming with us." He muttered. "She'll get hurt. We'll have to put her to hide or something." He looked to his brother. "What do you think Ven?" He asked with a frown. "Where will we go?"

 

Silver rubbed the back of his head. There was no way he could cast spells like that. "Well they exist... But only the true masters can cast spells such as that. You have to be careful too. If you abuse your magical energy too much you can be very weak, or even die." Silver shrugged. He hen suddenly realized something. It made him slightly upset. "There is this spell... It makes a force field which prevents any mage in it from using magic. It's kinda like the tag that was on me. Court wizards- mages hired by the king and guards use them when they hang people in public so no one can use magic to save them."

Ventus looked at Tails. "Well, I've been meaning to try them out." he said. "And Tails is right. Since we are her only relatives, they will be looking for us."

He took a few moments to think. "She can stay in the Inn. We'll convince the manager to care for her until it's all clear. We'll pay him more if we need to." he said.

"Is that okay with you, Roxas?"

 

Namine chuckled. "Thank you." she said. "Okay then. Let's start looking over there." she said, as she pointed  straight from where they were.

Kirby closed the door behind him and Namine. He adjusted the basket in his hands and looked around. He looked up at Namine and she pointed forward. He nodded his head at her with a gentle grin. He started to walk towards the direction Namine pointed to. He looked around the area, trying to get a clue of where Yu and Naomi's home might be. Oh where oh where? There's got to be an address or a sign somewhere. He's sure it wouldn't take too long though

 

Perhaps on the way back, he could talk to Namine for a bit. Maybe he could ask about her parents and what they are like. He would really like to met them! 

 

He kept looking around, but then stopped for a second and scratched his head in confusion.

"Aww, how sweet Corvo." Alvin teased his fellow mercenary. He was glad that Minato liked the gift. After all, who wouldn't? Even if they had no use for the enchantments, it was still an excellent watch. Alvin laid his hand behind his head and grinned. "So what are the plans for today? Are you guys doing anything special, or is this going to be the first ordinary day of your lives together?" Alvin asked, curious.

Corvo crossed his arms and looked not amused at all. He wasn't fond of being teased, especially in the times long ago when he was a merchant in his twenties. He then remembered the bread he needed to pick up. "Ahh... I ordered some fresh bread to be baked in the best bakery in the area. It's in Asnia, but that's just over the border nearby so it won't be too long." In speaking of travel, he looked to Minato with a smile. "I take much pleasure in travel. Would you like to learn how to ride a horse?"
