Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster - Discussion Topic

  1. 1. If you could add one thing to X/X-2 HD Remaster on PS4 what would it be?

    • "Easy", "Normal" and "Hard" difficulty modes to all 3 games.

    • Japanese voice option for all titles included.

    • Option to skip cutscenes in FFX.

    • Cross-save with PS3 and PS Vita.

FFX was such a good game. I played it when it released in HD on PS3. I'll admit I didn't like X-2 all that much but I didn't give it that much time. However, FFX-X2 HD is only $20 New on PS3 now. If anything, it's worth getting the bundle just for FFX. Trust me. Some of my favorite memories are revolved around playing that game. Hot summer nights sitting in the dark, drinking Mountain Dew just so I could stay up long enough to get to the next boss. All the research on secrets and boss strategies, taking smoke breaks from getting so aggravated and then being like "No, I can do this!" IT'S AMAZING. Haha.

Never played it before. I am gonna think of getting it now but I will not have access to my PS4 once I get back to University. Is PS Vita version good? I might as well just get on it.

Okay aren't you just literally being a part of Square Enix's marketing  division with this?The way this is worded does not sound like a recommendation nor giving a review score while encouraging people to buy it...........this is pretty much a written commercial

 

Like.............even I don't go that far when I recommend my favorite games to someone....I won't tell them flat out to their face:BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT

I know right!? Heck, he even makes topics about every single news about FF that connects to SE. It's hilarious because it really feels like he's trying to be a part of SE's employees. He keeps saying "Buy [imput name of Final Fantasy game here] Now! Buy it because I told you so and I find it amazing!" Mr 96 is really trying to become KH13's Final Fantasy paperboy :P.

Yes, the Vita version is very good!

 

 

Thought this was going to be a gif of Shia Labeouf holding a copy of the game saying Just do it, came here disappointed.

 

Haha. If only I was good with Photoshop. The "Just do it!" was inspired by Shia though.

 

 

I'm starting to think you wanna jump ship to FFShrine. That or be hired for S-E's marketing division. I guess you could do both.

I beat FFX already on PS2,so unless I'm curious enough to play X-2 someday I don't see the point

Man, I've been wanting to play this game for a while now!  My best friend/soul brother Dennys always tells me how amazing the game is, and I've seen your posts saying how great the game is, and I've seen bits of the story and gameplay, and it does look really good!  Whenever I have the money, I intend to buy it, but I don't know if I should get it for the Playstation 3, or the Playstation 4, which I'll be trying to get next year!

You could easily get the PS3 version now and the PS4 version later. There's cross-saving so you can transfer your save files between systems.

I got my copy back in July for $50 when I got my PS4. I would have to admit that I've really enjoyed it for not having played it on the PS2 or PS3 and I have a feeling that I'm just about at the end of X. Out of curiosity, is there a difference between the standard and limited editions other than the box art?

If only that was in AUD...The AUD is trading pretty badly against the USD. Everything so expensive :(
