Do you want KH3 to focus on Sora or have multiple stories?

Personally I'd prefer Sora, but I've heard rumors of the game having 3 stories like BBS. What do you think?

I want it to concentrate on Sora. I mean, BBS is great and all, but it wouldn't suit KH3 imo. I want it to be epic, one complete storyline and not divided in sections.

It'd be great, however, to be able to play on some other characters sometimes, like Kairi in the proloque and Lea in the epic Lea vs. Isa battle (because duh, that must happen. friends always fight in kingdom hearts).

Well, other than the way gameplay has been kind of drifting towards multiple characters since BBS. First it was three different stories you selected from the main menu to automatic character-switching in DDD. I wouldn't be surprised, tbh.

 

I still kinda want KHIII to focus on Sora, Donald and Goofy but I can't really make a good judgement on this without knowing more about what the game will be like.

Riku passed the mark of mastery exam, Yen Sid called Kairi to mysterious tower and Sora just mysteriously left before the credits rolled in DDD so I think there's a big possibility Sora, Riku and Kairi will all have a story. Though I think Sora should have the main spotlight.

You don't need to have seperate stories in order to have multiple playable characters. Look at FFXIII. You'll go from Lightning to Sazh as an example but it's the one story.

I'd rather them focusing on one character and flesh it out more to make him a memorable hero than speradically spread focus on waaaay to many characters where they would give some more development and completely forget the main hero of this entire story

 

Just focus on Sora and let us spend more time with him to see his growth as a character(I don't mean aging in case you're typing your post while quoting me),the trials and tribulations he'll go through to save everyone and defeat Xehanort.....we spent enough time with Terra,Aqua and Ven,Roxas,Axel and Xion and they got waay more spotlight than what a supporting character has the right to have

 

I won't mind them as party members that you can switch in and out like how it is in Final Fantasy X,but in terms of the go to playable character,I want it to be Sora

What Sora96 said. Personally, I hated how DDD worked. You can't do anything that takes hours without dropping and it's irritating, I wouldn't mind how BBS did it, but I'd prefer a more tradition KHII esque game.

I want it to focus on Sora but I also want Ventus and Roxas to reunite in the final battle which means the three of them defeats master Xehanort in the end. First off Sora was separated from Riku and then Kairi by Ansem and when he found Kairi he had to find Riku and when he was close finding Riku he lost Kairi yet again. 

 

Roxas lost the three of his friends and had to finish Xion himself after being used by Xemnas. 

 

And Ventus had the worst we don't even know how Xehanort found him or if he was taken away but it could be possible he was from the Destiny Islands. Ventus was used by Xehanort to form a dangerous weapon and so Xehanort created Vanitas. Ventus lost his memory and was tricked by Vanitas to save Terra from the Keyblade Graveyard. Xehanort froze him and took his friend from him(Terra). Ventus defeated Vanitas and lost his heart. Ventus deserves to defeat Xehanort after all the pain he's been through.

I wouldn't mind if you can play as another character other than Sora but it has to fit.  Like in Kingdom Hearts 2 you played as Roxas for the prologue and that worked so if they did something like that I wouldn't mind.  As much as I like BbS one of the weakness it has was the three separate stories because you play one and you know the majority of the whole story but you are missing just some bits of it that you won't get until you play the other ones but I'm ok with it as long as it only stays in BbS.  DDD was ok because you didn't have to play it again with someone else once you beat it once you switched with the two people you played with on the fly but again it won't work outside of DDD. Jumping from a playable character to character like how they did it in FFXIII wouldn't work either in my opinion again something that worked then but probably won't work now.  Like I said I wouldn't mind like what I said at the beginning and then maybe something happens to Sora and you play as someone else for a while but I would just be ok with if you just played as Sora.

I would prefer the KH2 style, that means Sora alone but with ocasionally being able to use another character; Kairi in the prologue (or something else), Lea in the highly anticipated and probably epic battle against Isa, also a Riku phase is almost needed and finally an epic final figth switching the main franchise characters (I want Mickey!!!!) and finishing with Sora of course. It would bring a lot of variety to the game. And guest characters like in KH2, please.

I prefer if they did it like KH2 where it's mostly Sora but allow you to play as other characters for 5 minutes, excluding that intro where you play as Roxas. I felt it took too long to play as Sora and get to the good part.
