Deja Vu (Sign-Ups and Discussion)

Recommended Posts

On an isolated island in the dead of winter, there lies a wooden shack. The rugged building has seen much ware, and one would be surprised to see it standing amidst the blizzards that frequent this land. Beneath the shack, however, lies a series of underground tunnels that lead to St. Lucifer's School for Gifted Children. Though it is hardly school as much as it is an asylum for... yes, "gifted" children. They are hardly prodigious, in the sense that you think of when you hear the word gifted; they are more troubled than anything, insisting that they can replay events of the past at will. However, these children are on the verge of discovering something that will tip the scales of fate in who knows what direction.

Rules:

1. There are only five slots in this RP. One character per one player. I have two spots reserved at the moment.

2. Your character will be given Gifts as the roleplay progresses. Each character starts with the gift Déjà Vu, explained below.

A unique feature of this roleplay is the ability to take any one post from the current page, quote it, and respond to it as if it were the post directly above yours. You must wait until a new page starts before you can use this power again. (Depending on the frequency of Deja Vu usage, this rule may be adjusted)

3. Only post when it's your turn. There will be a set order the players post in.

4. Don't kill or seriously harm another player's character without explicit permission or time to react.

5. Type "Turn Back the Clock" at the bottom of your sign-up to prove you have read and will adhere to the previous and following rules.

6. Make sure your posts are big(ish). Three plus lines is ideal. Two is bothersome. One is unacceptable.

7. Respect the RM (roleplay master). I may make a post at any point of the cycle, and I reserve the right to kill or injure characters as punishment for short posts or for plot-based reasons.

Camellia's use is a good example. The person who uses it does remember what happened. That's how they are able to change events in their favor. The rest of us don't realize it has happened, and must act as such. We do, however, know that all of us possess this ability, so you can tell us you did it and the characters will know what you're talking about.

I hope this is all correct. Please correct me if I'm not.
