this is the room where ven who is in a coma is. the land of departure is a world, and aqua transforms it into a place to keep it safe. a place where things fade to oblivion, aka castle oblivion. the only way to find it is through aqua because it is a maze and only she can get through

It's a secret place in Hollow Bastion that Xemnas visits to talk with Aqua's armor.

 

Also, I think the name Room of Sleep were changed to Chamber of Repose and Room of Awaken were changed to Chamber of Waking...

Anyways, the Chamber of Repose was created by Ansem's apprentices, after they banished him. In it lies Aqua's armor and Keyblade, and Xemnas would frequently visit the chamber to try and regain lost memories.

It is the place Xemnas visits his "friend". Back when he was an apprentice of Ansem the Wise he created the room of sleep as a secret room where he would conduct his experiments and also put Aqua's armor at. The reason Xemnas goes there because half of his memories are Terra's memories. And because he remembers creating the room of sleep.
