Aru Akise 2,540 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) I remember when I changed from my PSOne to PS2. Ok, new games and all, and such fun, BUT! I felt like playing Digimon World again one day. Fine, PS2 runs PSOne games. But it didn't.... I was so like "you shitty console, run my freaking game now!", and out of anger after trying for a few times I desperatly pushed the "turn on" button infinitely as if I were torturing my PS2, THEN!... it ran my game.... and I played happily ever after with this new trick I learned to make PSOne games work on my PS2. Did you experience anything similar to this with your consoles/games? Caity 3,946 Posted September 1, 2014 Since I have a PS3 this information's kinda useless to me personally, since the PS3 can play PSone games Weird how it does that still but not PS2 games
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) My PS2 disk tray stopped spinning. It was only at that point I stopped using it. Then I decided after it's 10 years of life with me, it may rest in peace. Edited September 1, 2014 by Sun Wukong
Oishii 3,987 Posted September 1, 2014 When I imported the Final Mixes from Japan, I also got Swap Magic to fool my PS2 to play different region games. But I will never forget how terrified I was when I had to open my PS2 to install one of the pieces.

The final mixes worked just fine on mine.

littleTSUBAME 483 Posted September 1, 2014 Maybe it was only NA that got region blocked? No, as far as I know it's region locked everywhere.
Master Keeper 687 Posted September 1, 2014 My PS2 runs PS One games without any tricks, but as for something similar then I guess not.
