Xer 670 Posted August 30, 2014 I decided to drop by a visit btw! I was wondering since the new 3ds has been announced and will allow games that the "old" 3ds can't run, can Alpha Sapphire and Monster Hunter 4 work on the old one?

Ultimosora 159 Posted August 30, 2014 What the heck? It took me a few years for me to finally get my 3DS, now they're announcing a new one? Nintendo is giving us a run for our money. 1 RoxasVen30 reacted to this

Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted August 30, 2014 All games announced within this year and next will be for the current model. At least outside of Japan, as the new model is releasing in Japan only this year. If you've only bought a regular 3DS or even the 2DS, it's well worth the upgrade if you've never upgraded yet. Consoles can be preordered though, so it's an easy upgrade when you dun have to pay for it all at once. It'll be years before they completely drop the 3DS.
