Ruby Rose 8,591 Posted August 27, 2014 Kingdom Hearts III: Every character and their grandmother will get a Keyblade In other news, Keyblades are no longer unique 6 Alicia Maddox, Reflet, RoxasVen30 and 3 others reacted to this
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted August 27, 2014 I know this is in Random but people must also remember the keyblade must also 'judge' your heart strong enough and choose you as well. Touching one isn't a guarantee you will be a wielder. Just sayin' 9 Shulk, Robbie the Wise, Reflet and 6 others reacted to this

neosporify 10 Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) Wait, since Jack held the keyblade, wouldn't that mean Sora performed the Inheritance Ceremony? Considering Kairi accidentally touched Aquas and still performed it, wouldn't holding it still count, so long as Jack's heart is strong enough? Considering Kairi accidentally touched Aquas and still performed it, wouldn't holding it still count, so long as Jack's heart is strong enough? actually no, Aqua was a Master when Kairi touched her keyblade in Radiant Garden, and Kairi holds the right traits for the Keyblade to chose her, Sora was not a Master, and he basically handed it to Jack to prove a point that he can't use his Keyblade or any keyblade 2 KingdomHeartsSora and Reflet reacted to this

But you're right, since Jack isn't qualified, he won't get one. Just a thought that popped into my head that I instantly made a comment on

That happened because Kairi touched it while Aqua was holding it. The same as Riku, he touched it while Terra was holding it. Gosh, that sounded so wrong! 1 Kittenz reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) You are only thinking about the pirates? With that he could unlock EVERYTHING! D: I don't think he would care. He's a pirate, all he really cares about is treasure, his ship and getting drunk. lol I doubt he'd be interested in unlocking a bunch of stuff with a weapon that lets you unlock anything. Its too big of a power for him to handle or care for. Then again... he IS a pirate... so I guess things may get a little out of hand if he had the power... Nomura: That's essentially correct. In terms of the rite itself, the successee* just has to make the successor grasp their Keyblade - if this rite is performed by a Keyblade Master, and if they have suitable power, the Keyblade will choose that person as a Keyblade user, and appear before them. Terra, Ventus, all have passed this rite. Sora is the only exception. -- The Keyblade succession can only be performed by a Keyblade Master, but we see Terra performing this rite with Riku - does this mean we can consider Terra a Keyblade Master? Nomura: No. Terra was not awarded that title by his Master Eraqus, so no matter how Master Xehanort flatters him he is not a Keyblade Master. But that's just a matter of whether or not he's achieved the official title. Even Eraqus recognised that Terra possessed suitable power to be a Master, which is why he was able to perform the rite for Riku. 3 Demyx., Blooming Marluxia and Robbie the Wise reacted to this
