Well, the only way I can imagine this kind of crossover is if it were a fighting game.  I can't imagine it in any other way.  Just think about it!  Pokemon's best and greatest fight against Digimon's strongest, and this kind of spectacular thing could be possible in fighting game form.  But who knows, we may see it in a variety of forms. ^^

Not sure how would it work as Digimon would win. I mean sure Pokemon has legends/mega, but Digimon has some that can destroy planets.

Wouldn't really like it to be honest... If it was some non-canon crossover fighting game, then it would be fun. Otherwise no.
