Why I think the Wii U and Xbox One are better than the PS4 right now

Recommended Posts

OK, before I get attacked, just hear me out.

The Wii U for starters has a pretty strong library of games. It has Super Mario 3d land,Hyrule Warriors,WW HD, Pikmin 3, Game and Wario, and so on and so forth. It's lineup of games is even better in my opinion with games like Bayonetta 2,Smash Bros. Wii U,Splatoon,Mario Maker, and Yoshis wooly world.

As for the Xbox One, it shares every next gen exclusive game(besides the ones from sony owned developers) with the PS4, and then some. It has project spark,Halo Master Chief collection,Sunset Overdrive, and a plethora of other exclusives.

The PS4 mostly just has games that are also on PC,Xbox One, and last gen with the exception of knack, infamous, and killzone which are games that don't interest me very much.

But thats just my opinion

I can understand your opinion, but I do not agree with it. Xbox is having to scrape by to really get people to give a shit about them. Rise of the Tomb Raider, Xbox exclusive? Yeah, I'm sure Crystal Dynamics just had a lot of faith in the Microsoft brand.[/sarcasm] No, they got paid a lot of money to make it an exclusive to put the Xbone a step above the PS4, at least temporarily.

All of the other exclusives, while not interesting to you, clearly interest everyone else if you look at the fact that it's been outselling THE ONE for seven straight months.

WiiU deserves better, though, and I think Smash Bros is really going to give them a much-needed boost.

I'm a very big PlayStation fan, I grew up with the 2 and 3, but you're absolutely right

The PlayStation 4's exclusive library is very lacking right now, the only thing that comes to my mind is The Last of Us Remastered, but that was already on the PS3 so it doesn't even really count

Even the games I'm gonna get for it (KHIII, FFXV, MGS:TPP) are on Xbox One, but personally I'm just gonna stick with Sony as I always have

Maybe in the next few years it'll get a better arsenal of games, but for now the Wii U probably has the best array of exclusives

I believe Project Spark is also on 360 and PC aswell. Same with Dead Rising 3 and Ryse. Quantum Break is the only game which really interests me on XB1, Sunset Overdrive I need to wait till its out really. I'm enjoying my PS4 for Infamous right now, Wild looks cool, Bloodborne aswell etc.

But really this is always gonna be a subjective thing. No one can never objectively say which console is better than another cause it's certain tastes which appeal to certain people.

It's not really fair to compare the WiiU to the XBO or PS4. It had a head start, it was around for almost a year before the other two so of course it's going to have a bigger library.

As for XBOX, all I can say is that personally I think Microsoft should have stuck to computers.

Why not compare the PS4 and the XB1 to the Wii U when where are talking about exclusives when people do it all the time when the Wii U isn't getting a third  party game/games that the other two and PC is getting.

Right now the other two do  have more exclusives and honestly even the XB1 line up looks more interesting then the PS4 right now and in the near future. And this is from somebody who is trying to get the sexy PS4 Destiny bundle later this year.

Sony really got lucky with the PS4, if Nintendo and Microsoft didn't screw up there 8th gen consoles , the PS4 would be in last place this gen, with its current offerings.

HOW DARE YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN ME!!!  *Ahem* sorry about that, just because this is the internet doesn't mean we can't be civilized... anyway I've always had a Sony system and never once have I ever felt like I'm missing out on what the X-Box had... Halo?! FPS?! HA Yeah right! that is all I ever hear come out of X-box... and when did Xbox exclusive ever win a game of the year award?  and this generation is going to be no different! Sony always started out slow, the PS3 took ages to build up a library of playable games, but IMO won the console war for that generation. XBoxone has no games I'd ever be even remotely interested in, it has that creepy kenteckt  that they anted to be always on....why? and it scared the hell out of everyone with always online and no sharing games, before they realized they've alienated nearly a third of there consumers. and Nintendo, I love them, when I was younger I always wanted to play zelda and pokemon and such (I can do that now a days) but no Nintendo hasn't been able to compete since the N64. and the WiiU is not helping, so far it is still a casual market, and that is fine there needs to be a casural market...

The Wii U definitely has the best library of the three, but Xbox One doesn't have anything that I find interesting. I grew up on PlayStation and Nintendo systems, so I'm going with a PS4 over an Xbox One. Not to mention I love a lot of PS exclusives.

The Wii U isn't just a casual market. It has a lot of games that are fun for people regardless of age and gaming experience. I've been gaming for as long as I can remember, and I've enjoyed my Wii U more than I've enjoyed most other consoles I've gotten.

Especially on the Wii U situation. Would've been top by now, but 1st party is really the only thing helping it at this rate.

The Wii U does have the upper hand with an awesome library. But the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are basically in the same boat right now. Titanfall for the One? Multiplatform. Dead Rising? Multiplatform.

I think the best exclusive at  this point is inFAMOUS: Second Son for the PS4. And that game is way too short. And the Wii U's Smash Bros. may be multiplatform, but it's on Nintendo consoles, and the best beat-em-up game in the world is probably the top of the list on 8th Gen games.Which I agree with. But, the Wii U has a year over its predecessors, and the PS4 and Xbox One haven't even got a chance to get shown what they're capable of, except Second Son yet.

Let's give them 2 more years to pit them against each other.

I have a gaming PC, so I can play Titanfall, Project Spark on my PC and eventually Dead Rising 3, Ryse. Tomb Raider 2 will also likely release on PC too.

The only exclusive Xbox One has that is interesting this year is Sunset Overdrive, but the PS4 has Infamous Second Son. Next years exclusives for Xbox One (Scalebound, Quantum Break, Halo 5) interest me about the same as PS4's exclusives (Bloodborne, The Order 1886, Uncharted 4 and the Ratchet and Clank 1 remake).

Both Xbox One and PS4 are pretty much even in terms of exclusives.

I agree with you because I'm barely interested in any ps4 games except for kingdom hearts 3 and that's it. The wii u already has a lot of games that I'm really interested in including Zelda U(not out yet) , Mario Kart 8, and the wind waker hd.

I think overall the PS4 is a better system than Xbone.  Cheaper system, cheaper online services, better hardware, plus sony wasn't trying to firetruck people initially.  Microsoft never even appologized for their antics.

This is all moot though since PC is the best gaming platform anyway.

I do love my Wii U and the upcoming games it has have me really excited for what's in store. However, the Xbox One and the PS4 are pretty much in the same boat as each other right now. It's very early days for both those systems and I think we have to give them at least 2 years to get a decent library together. The Wii U struggled in its first year and it's only now that it's picking up some pace.

Plus, most of the exclusive Xbox One games are also on PC or are eventually going to it. Can't wait to play some Ori and the Blind Forest on PC that's for sure.
