I need to know what will happen to terra

Terra is by far one I my favorite characters in the series. Unfortunately he had to succumb to the darkness and turned into terranort. My question would be, if the lingering will is Terra's mind and soul, and xehanort has completely taken him for a vessel, then how the hell is he supposed to come back to be one of the 7 lights? That is, IF he will be a light

My guess is that he'll be saved and become a light, and in the final battle against Xehanort, he'll make a selfless sacrifice to protect Sora and friends and fulfill his promise, and before he'd fade away into light, he'd say: "Aqua, Ven, I told you that I would set things right." and then he would fade away dramatically and heart-wrenchingly.  I think he'll probably die.  He'll die a redeemed hero.  That's what I think at least.

i personally think that hes going to sacrifice himself to get rid of xehanort for good. right now, terra is in some deep shit and i don't think that he will come back at all.

right now no one has any idea about the current state of Terra. We don't know where he is, or what  he is. He could be a wandering heartless, maybe all of the parts of his body are just wandering around. It's most likely that his heart and body and mind are all just separated, wandering around. There is no info as to what or where terra is currently. We have to wait for KH3 for info on that.
