The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted August 13, 2014 Please support all people who suffer from depression. Reach out your hand towards your loved ones, your friends, your family, reach out to them and help them get out of their depression. Don't let them suffer in silence. Robin Williams suffered inside for a long time, and he lost his battle against his depression. May he rest in peace. You will never be forgotten Robin. Oh captain, my captain! 9 Killua0707, Oishii, Ruby Rose and 6 others reacted to this

Cucco 1,907 Posted August 13, 2014 No amount of medicine will fix it. Positive communication with people does. Just don't ignore them. 2 Alicia Maddox and The Transcendent Key reacted to this
ReikuSSR 1,071 Posted August 13, 2014 Pressure and anxiety can cause depression and suicidal thoughts, happens to mostly people in direct production and high end media production of goods and services for people, such as Artists, designers, producers, musicians, actors, et cetera. Note: keep that in mind people impatient about things. Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV just to name a few. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Forever 3,550 Posted August 13, 2014 Hm......Depression. That mysterious ailment that hits you out of nowhere, and tears slowly through your soul. I was a very happy child , but when I became a teenager I met a girl who suffered from this. We eventually parted ways, but the deep sorrow that she suffered from followed me, and has yet to leave. People demise Depression as a phase of sadness, but I tell you it is far beyond that......Depression is a feeling of disconnect, a feeling that your very existence is some cruel joke that someone has laid out for you. You could be in the most joyous of places, and still feel as if there's chains tied around your spirit. It is an utter emptiness.....you want to smile but your heart is too heavy. You want to think of the future, but your mind is tangled in never-ending web of your past failures. You look at yourself and see a being without purpose, without fulfillment. Love seems like an illusion, and happiness seems like a foreign concept. All you want to do is hide from the world, because you feel as if you don't deserve to live in it. You stop caring about things that are important, and you dread the news because your brain filters out anything good and emphasizes the bad. It is......a hard shell to break from. And there are so many levels of it. Sometimes, a smile can hide the struggles of the heart.
Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted August 13, 2014 Here's something interesting I learned about depression today. We know it is usually associated with the colour blue, but why is that? Depression usually results in lack of sleep at night and a survey was done that blue light is responsible for keeping people awake. Not saying this applies to everyone, but it is rather intriguing. So the Facebook conspiracy is solved? O.o But yes, indeed depression is not a joke. RIP Robin Williams. Peace!
