Zuri played with his large bunny ears as he sat in the interrogation room. He was getting hungry,and the water provided to him wasn't exactly the most filling thing in the world. He could hear footsteps of someone running off from outside the hallway,his ears were sensitive enough to sense that. But he didn't know who. The room was sound proof so that he couldn't hear anything from the outside. "(Giotto,I hope our allebi will be enough for them to f*ck off.)"Zuri thought as he got his hands in his pocket and pulled out his pocketwatch. It's ticking was all that could be heard within the silence of the room. "...It's late."Zuri muttered. It was very late at night. Almost one in the morning. He sighed and got his pocket watch back inside his pocket. He stood up and walked over to the one side glass as he tapped on it. He didn't know who was behind the glass,as he couldn't see,but he hoped someone was there to hear him. "Um,excuse me,I'm hungry..."Zuri muttered as he then crossed his legs. "And I really need to pee."Zuri said truthfully.

Xion entered the room, carrying juice and a slice of carrot cake.

"Sit." She set them on the table in front of her. "Sit." Once Zuri was seated, she continued. "Answer my questions truthfully, you get the juice. Answer more, you get the cake. Answer them all, you get to go to the bathroom. And don't BS me, because I don't have to clean up that chair nor do I have to worry about getting you new pants." She set her PDA on the table.

"What does Giotto collect?"

 

 

Arthur shook his head to Blue the Mortician. "No on."

Lily was back, a bit better now. She still looked queasy, but at least Kayle was with her. The Director of Judgement looked around, frowing. "Skin gone. Gawain and Therese found the same thing in California." Kayle said. "Therese has gone back to Wolf Valley to find her family. I'm trying tor each Cinderella. We need the extra help."

 

Namine walked into Anna's house. She had become more adept at magic since entering Fabletown, but wasn't going to join the 13th Floor.

"Anna! I'm sorry I'm late!" She dropped her bag on the floor. "Where's the hurt kid?"

Raff jogged over the phone and picked up. "Whats going on Bigby?" He was looking out the window watching Sake and Mary's place. He glanced over at the sleeping Peter and locked the front door just in case. He shot a worried look at Coyote before glancing back out the window. 

 

Peter opened his eyes to see Rafael on the phone. "Whats going on?" He saw the colors of sirens bouncing off the walls from the window. He wrapped the old quilt around himself, his eyebrows were knitted together. He stood up on his toes to look over Rafael's shoulder.

Bigby sped up as he heard Raff answer finally, "Raff....Alice has been murdered....and someone tried to kidnap Sake tonight.....I'm heading over to Mary's right now....judging from the call I got....its a pretty nasty scene. I'm sending some officers over to your place as well as Anna and Sora's location....they will answer to a password of 'wolf'. Otherwise don't let anyone in. I suggest you and Coyote keep yourselves armed, because from the looks of things someone's targeting Fables."

Zuri thought about the question for a bit. "Let's see. Though he does have a thing for curious items,as far as I've seen the one thing he loves to collect is flowers and rare plants for his garden."Zuri said rather casually. "Through my connections by helping people get rare items,I've managed to gain him some nice flowers that you don't usually can buy on the internet or at the supermarket,or at a cheap price. Such as chocolate cosmos and natural blue roses among others."Zuri said,able to accurately remember each flower Giotto had ever asked for and collected from Zuri. "He lives in an apartment at the very top of the city's skyline,so gardens aren't something you can usually have. So in the little space he does have he wants to make sure he has some rare specimens to keep him company."Zuri said. He stared down at the table. "Oh yeah,"He said as he looked up. "He does have another type of collection,but he has another person for that. He likes to collect taxidermied animals that he has hunted over the years. But that's normal I guess,there's so many people who like to hunt I'm not surprised he's just another one who's into that kind of stuff."Zuri said with a shrug,only speaking truth. Humans in the human world did like the sense of the hunt,and many of them did ended up turning their hunts into prizes.

Blue grunted to himself and crossed his arms. "Fine fine. She's coming to my morgue anyways so I guess I'll take a look at her there."Blue muttered as there was obvious sadness in his eyes. "Mary...she would never hurt a fly,not in this world. She was scared of children and moreover evil things...I'm scared to see what I will find on that body. I'm scared to find out the cause of death..."Blue muttered as he shivered. If there wasn't any postmordem injuries,it would be highly likely that she would've been skinned while alive. He glanced up,looking around the street. "Raff and Coyote live right across the crime scene don't they? Maybe they saw or heard something? But then they would've reported it. Unless the killers made sure that any screams wouldn't be heard,Mary would've been caught by surprise."Blue gasped to himself as he shivered at the thought. It wasn't enough to make him puke,we are talking about the guy who kept his wife's corpses up in the highest tower for years until the place burnt to the ground. But it did saddened him. He glanced over at Sake. "Hey Sake...you shouldn't be staying alone here from now on,not until the murders are resolved. You can come and stay with me for a while if you want?"Blue asked as he looked around. "Unless someone else has space,but I have plenty of space in my place,as long as you don't mind that it's right ontop of a funeral home."Blue muttered that last part. Sake simply shrugged.

Coyote looked over to Raff. He could already tell things were going to hell. "Perfect. What happened now?" He asked. He quickly closed the window. He could tell by Raff's face the gravity of the situation. He looked over to Peter. "Relax kid, everything's going to be alright." He sniffed the area, trying to see if he could pick up some hostile enemies or the scents of people that he knew.

 

Anna slowly shook her head and kneeled down to give Little Red a hug. "Just go to sleep okay? Naminè is going to be here soon. Everything is going to be fine." She pulled away and began locking up windows and doors. She knew she had a small revolver in her drawer if things got bad. She had gotten it from Kristoff for safety. "Just stay here, and don't go outside okay." She was happy Benjamin has his eyes closed. Even if he wasn't asleep, he couldn't hear anything.

"Hey. I walked in earlier. Thanks for ignoring me." She said, somewhat offended. Not like her striking blonde hair and currently glittered eyes were very unnoticable, right?'

"Giotta...taxidermy...tell me, Zuri." Xion pushed the juice to him. "Does he have any pictures of his new trophies online?" She asked sweetly, her hand swiping across the PDA. Using Swipe was safer - Zuri could possibly hear the taps and if he was smart might get what she was typing.

Kayle. Link me pictures of the other skinned fables Therese and Gawain found.

 

She never broke eye contact with Zuri.

Once the skin was given to the man, struggling was heard in the corner. Her shirt torn from the struggling, her shoulders and arms bare to the man, was Kairi. She had been abducted leaving her house, and as the man played with the skin, she tried to get away. Gagged and tied , she had tears streaming.

He was going to kill her next, she was sure of it.

Zuri tried to grab the juice,but was nervous to do so of how the detective was staring at him. "He usually does,on his instagram and twitter and facebook,considering he does have a lot of fans following him on social media. It's his way of having fun I think. The poor guy just gets too lonely."Zuri said as he lifted his bunny ears lightly and then lowered them a bit. "He usually works at night,so he'd be awake by now. He did complain about the working hours changing a bit after that last episode."Zuri muttered,smiling lightly but then frowning,as it did seem that the two were not just customers,but friends as well.

Jester kept spinning happily as he worked,the hunters on the other hand,seemed rather annoyed at Kairi's attitude. Jester quickly stopped and scolded them. "Bad. You guys know she can't be killed yet until given further instructions. If we end up killing her now the skin will rot by the time we receive the order. Besides,she isn't for our collector friend. She's been ordered specifically for the boss,you know,the mean one."Jester said with a chuckle. "Now go on,you'll know when the next target is located. We need to wait till the heat dies down first."Jester said,and with that they were left alone. "I don't know why he kept insisting on this one though. Princess of heart this princess of heart that. Such a bore if you ask me."Jester said as he swiped blood off his hands with a towel and threw away the disposable bloody gloves into a trashcan. "It's supper time."Jester said as he hummed and walked over to a darkened area,then came back with what seemed to be food. He sat in front of Kairi,who kept moving around. "Have to keep you alive,or the boss will kill me."Jester said as he seemed to have served up some curry and bread. He wrapped a cloth around Kairi's neck as if it was a giant napkin and started to pick at the curry. This had to be very scary for poor Kairi. "Now let me remove that."Jester said as he pulled off Kairi's gag with ease. Not like if her screams would be heard. They were too deep underground,within a closed off cave system,where air was already provided with an air conditioner.

Anna jumped out of her skin. "Naminè! She said with a startled smile. Perfect. Now Benjamin can get her some help. "I'm so sorry I didn't hear you enter the house. I was on the phone with Bigby." She gave Naminè a hug and quickly went to lock the door from which she entered. "The boy is over here. He's a mundy and he's deaf." She led Naminè to the two kids on the floor. She gave Little Red a cheery smile. "Look Red! It's Naminè!"

 

Benjamin woke up with a yawn and stretched. Anna had shook him awake. He looked up to the interesting woman next to her who was supposed to help him. He wondered what fable she was. "...?" He signed to her, hoping she understood. "Hello."

Namine knelt beside him. She slipped her sketchpad from her purse (hiding the contents as well) and opens to a blank page. She writes quickly.

 

Hi, I'm Namine. Now I'm going to see if I can't heal you.

 

Putting it down, Namine held her hands out to the boy. She closed her eyes and concentrated. "Cureja." She said, A bright green glow enveloped the area, Namine using the most powerful of healing spells. She kept it up for as long as she could, but her hands dropped, the glow fading. She panted a bit, leaning back. "I've done what I can. If it works, it works.

Xion smirked. So much...She quickly ran it through...and paused.

Baby Bear...Boo...

The girl slid her phone out and shot a text to Arthur. She only had to wait a minute for a return. Therese had found them on her way to meet Gawain. That explains a lot.

"What does his collection consist of, taxidermy wise?" She asked. "Any specifics?"

Kairi recoiled as he touched her, but she was starving. She didn't scream, it hadn't worked the last time. So she merely opened her mouth to accept the food fearfully. Screaming, begging, he cared not for it. All she could do was wait calmly for the food, and hope it was real food, not...something else.

Kairi took a few bites... "Please...M...may I go to the bathroom?"

Little Red thought it was better not to ask what was going on. Little Red smiled at Namine. "Hello." 

She stood still as Namine was trying to heal Ben. After she was done, Little Red slowly went over to Ben. She used the 

piece of paper she used before and wrote: "So? How are you feeling?"

Benjamin looked down at his arms and smiled. He wrote into the little pad. 'I feel a lot better. It still hurts a little bit, but it just stings.' The flames disappeared, however they left green scars in it's wake. He wrote in the pad. 'I think they look cool.' He looked up to Namine. The second he read her name, he had a huge smile. He looked like he just met God. 'Namine?' he asked, writing in the pad. 'From Kingdom Hearts? That's so cool! You're my favorite.' He didn't understand how Namine was a fairytale, however he didn't care. Anna chuckled at the scene happening. Namine just met her number one fan. She was happy Benjamin felt better. She looked over to Namine, and then to the window fearfully. "Hey. can you stay for the night? It's dangerous outside right now..." she said with a frown. "I'm going to guess you know what happened already... oh, and I think Benjamin is your biggest fan." Anna always wondered what it would be like for a little mundy girl to meet her. Maybe something of how she imagined it'd be to work at Disneyland.

Akela the wolf had been doing his average patrol of the area, and was sniffing the buildings.

"Looks like most of everyone is safe in their homes....but wait...I can smell something...smells like someone was wounded and needed healing...but in my old age it could be a mouse with cheese for all I know...."

 

Merlin was also walking in the streets, inspecting his wand when no one was looking.

Namine blushed. She made sure her bag was well hidden and patted Benjamin's head.

She smiled softly, then looked at Anna. "I can. I have midshift at work so don't worry about me disap...damn. my car is at the bar. I was driven here by a friend."

Zuri hummed to himself as he closed his eyes and started to think. "I think he has a family of bears,and a tortoise,all legally owned with papers...I don't remember very well,I don't like to stare at his collection for too long,makes me uncomfortable,if you catch my drift."Zuri said as he lightly pulled on his bunny ears. Of course they were friends. But it still kind of bothered Zuri a bit because he himself was a rabbit,and Giotto had commented before,asking that if Zuri died if he could have his body for his collection. Zuri had yet to give him an answer to that one question. Zuri yawned. It was late. Long day all day. He could feel dark circles forming under his eyes. "You know if you want to know more about him,he's not that hard to find in the city."Zuri muttered as he glanced over at the small magazine rack that they had in there for Zuri to be entretained while they worked other stuff out. He casually picked up one of the magazines and settled it on the table,showing the front of it as it was a photo promoting the show Giotto was in,Once Upon a Fairy Tale. "Now,"Zuri said seriously as he looked up at the detective. "Unless any of this crap has to do with the fact that my beloved wife is gone from this world,I don't want to answer more questions...I want to give my Alice the proper burial she deserves,not turn her death into a freak show."Zuri hissed,obvious sincere emotion in his words.

Jester tilted his head slightly to the left as he blinked a few times before responding. "Oh you have to pee? Sure thing."Jester said as he settled the plate to the side and easily backflipped from where he was sitting onto his feet,walking over to his music box as he took out a key. Jester was a very care-free person,but his insanity and loyalty to whoever was his boss made him a rather dangerous yet curious individual to be around with. Jester walked back to Kairi,getting the giant cloth off from her neck and using the key to unlock the chains and unchain her. "Here we go."Jester said as he stood up and pointed down the hall of the sanctuary. "Down the hall to the left. It has a toilet,sink,and a shower. You can wonder around if you want. Just don't go near the exit tunnel. The Hunters aren't very patient creatures."Jester said simply as he sat down in his rolling chair and started to work once more on Mary's skin. Within the big sanctuary the Hunters slept right around the tunnel that led to the exit,so no one would be getting in or out that easily. With a mannequin on the corner with different markings on it that pinpointed different parts of the human body,Jester examined the mannequin and pushed himself from the table to the big,multiple shelves thing. He hummed as he pulled out the little shelves a bit and pushed them back in,looking for something in specific. "Here we go."Jester muttered as he picked up to big fake eyes and pushed himself back to the desk to work.

Bigby then arrived at Mary's, hanging up the phone after telling the parties to "Be Safe." He tucked his phone into his pocket and stepped outside, approaching the officers at the scene and the Pendragons.

Anna gave a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. I have my car we could use." She walked over to the kitchen nearby. "Can I get you anything?"

 

Benjamin was extremely excited. He wrote down into the notebook to talk to Naminè. 'Can you tell me about the worlds?' It read. 'Where's Sora? Did you ever get to wield a keyblade? Are you and Kairi really close? It must be so cool knowing spells.' He figured Naminè was great with remembering things. He wondered if she still had her magic from Chain of Memories. 'I used to get picked on because the card system is my favorite.'

Kairi let loose in the bathroom, then washed her hands. She slwoly walked back out, the. To Jester.

"S-sir? C-can I h-have a n-new shirt?" She asked. Her current one ruined, she covered her bra up, the Hunters had no sense of care.

Namine blushed. 

 

Kinda...Kairi and I are are really, really close...and Sora runs a restraunt with Riku.  Yeah, Club Heartseeker had marketted them as the Twincest for a special weekend. That, and what they did before Sora showed up...close. Not to mention Xion...

Keeping the not for children details aside, she stood and summoned Lunar Eclipse, her Keyblade. She let Benjamin see it...then offered it to him.

Benjamin's eyes widened. He reached out his hand to hold the keyblade. Once he grabbed it, he almost dropped it for how heavy it was. 'So pretty...' He thought. He frowned once it disappears out of his hands. He picked up the notebook and wrote in it. "I guess it disappears for everyone, right?'

 

Anna came out of the kitchen with some glasses of iced tea for her and Naminè as well as glasses of chocolate milk for Benjamin and Little Red. "Have you been drawing Naminè? I always loved the beautiful pictures you used to draw." She set down the glasses on the coffee table and offered Naminè her drink. "I haven't seen you in so long... Stay here whenever you'd like. Don't be a stranger."

The moment Bigby arrived at the scene he was greeted by Blue,who had multiple questions to ask him. "Where have you been?! Holy **** I thought I was sick and disturbed when I did what I did to my wives and their bodies but this is going a bit too far if you ask me you know because yeah you should totally go see because they won't let me inspect the body first hand but from what I've heard seems like it was done by a professional-"Blue said before being kicked out of the way by Sake,who obviously wasn't in the most cheerful of moods as she looked up at Bigby with desperate and sad eyes. "Bigby,Mary's gone."Sake muttered as she glanced down. "Please find out who did this to her,and why they did it. I think this is my fault. If I stayed with her instead of going out for drinks I could've saved her or died with her,so she wouldn't of died alone."Sake muttered as she gripped on her lucky pair of scissors,which still contained the blood of the Hunter that she had stabbed the hand with. Blue stood back up. "It's a big mess,Bigby."Blue hissed as he glanced up at Bigby and rubbed the back of his head. "They're waiting for you. I'll watch over Sake."Blue said as he wrapped his arm around Sake's shoulder. "Come on Sake,I'll go down the street and get you a cup of hot chocolate,with extra cocoa."Blue said as he walked with Sake to the nearest police car,wanting to calm her down.

Jester stopped working on the eyes as he looked up at Kairi,who asked for a shirt. "...give me a minute."Jester said as he pushed himself from the desk,the chair rolling away to the corner with the many small cabinets. With swift movements he pulled out flower fabric,buttons,and thread from their respected places as he then pushed himself over to where the mannequin was at. Picking up one of the many pair of scissors,one that wasn't bloody,the sound of cutting fabric could be heard echoing across the sanctuary with quick 'CLIP CLIP CLIP' sounds. With a needle twirling between his fingers Jester sewed on the fabric skillfully,and within two minutes,had created a blouse out of flower pattern fabric. Cutting the last piece of thread he pushed himself down the hall and in front of Kairi,handing her the newly made blouse. "Here you go."Jester said before once again pushing himself back to the table to continue to work on Mary's skin as he hummed a tune,which he was equally as skillful at working on. Salting the skin and using sandpaper to dry it out,he had already prepared the model where the skin would be resting in flair. He didn't had any extra clothes,so it was easier for him to just make one on the spot than to go around and see if he had any to spare.

Namine sipped some Tea. Retrieving her note book after nodding sadly to Benjamin, she showed some of her newer drawings. Some were just landscapes. Some showed others, Lika Sora, Xion, Kayle. Some even were of Anna herself.

The final sketches were...well, one showed Namine and Xion face to face on a bed, in a completely adorable but obviously intimate position. The last was sorta the same, except Kairi was in the middle and Namine and Xion were on either side.

Namine only blushed, and did not comment on the reality of the pictures.

 

Lily came up beside Bigby. "I'm sending Xion tostay with Namine." She adjusted her sword. "So if you have to see Xion, knock. She also said that Zuri was not to be trusted and his alibi had to be investigated." Lily looked extremely troubled. "She said the taxidermi animals Giotto kept matched the Fables who have died in the same exact way as Mary. Gawain and Therese Wolf has informed us as such. Also, Cinderella is coming to town. She has more information.:

Merlin and Akela meet in the street, unaware of what all was going around them as they converse.

"Say, what brings you out here, uh...Akela, isn't it?"

 

Akela nods.

"Yes...I am not sure who you are, wise one, but I am on my routine patrols to make sure everyone is safe here..."

Rafael sighed and hung up. "Guess we will be stuck here for a while." He continued to look out the window for a minute before leaving the room and coming back with a rifle. "Something strange is going on, something targeting fables, Bigby everyone should be stayin inside for the time being." He sat in a chair and loaded his gun looking at the front door to his apartment.

 

Peter's eyes widened, "Is everyone ok?" He asked sitting back down on the couch watching Raf load his gun. He was glad he found a place to stay before everything started going haywire or else he would be stuck defenseless on the street.

 

Raf glanced over at Peter and sighed, "No everyone is not alright, but that is not what we need to be thinking about right now. We need to stay here and keep safe until we get a call that this craziness has been taken care of."

Merlin and Akela are soon surrounded with unknown attackers, and are forced to work together.

 

Akela growls, baring his teeth as he prepares to leap

"Can't you leave two old men alone?!"

 

Merlin pulls out his wand, ready to cast spells.

"Now now, think wisely you boys; wouldn't want to cause an unnecessary scuffle..."

Bigby looked at Sake and Blue, taking in what they said...especially Sake. Bigby looked over at Lily, "I'll have my officers detain him until..and IF his alibi makes it through. But I doubt it will. We'll see how long it takes our little rabbit to break like the fragile little bunny he is, once he's shown what he's facing if he doesn't cooperate. He's got more to be afraid of than this Giotto person..." 

 

Bigby marched past Lily and ducked under the Fabletown PD tape. The smell of blood...lots of it..was already invading his senses since before he'd gotten out of the car.

Blue had gotten Sake some hot chocolate with marshmallows. Sake didn't think much of it but did appreciate the hot chocolaty goodness. "Geez,I need to get back and prepare where Mary's body's going to be at. I want to make sure that no one gets any ideas in breaking in."Blue said as he jumped up and down a bit,feeling uneasy. He glanced around. "And you need a place to stay~"Blue muttered as he looked around,then it hit him. Rafael lived just across the street. "Sake,this way."Blue muttered as he dragged Sake all the way over in front of Rafael's door,knocking on it. "Hey Rafael,it's me,Blue! Think you can let Sake stay with you for a while until we can fix this mess up?!"Blue asked as he knocked on the door. Sake couldn't be left alone in the scene of the crime,it was like settling a young lamb inside an inclosure of starving wolves. Too risky. "I would have her stay in my place but I have a feeling I'm going to be working overtime,so can she stay with you please?!"Blue asked. Sake simply drank the hot chocolate. She really didn't care where she ended up staying at,as long as she didn't had to go back to the shop. The image of Mary sitting there...mutilated,was burnt into her mind,much to her dismay. Sake's body shivered.

"And cut! Take five everyone!"

 

Giotto stretched as he yawned and walked over to the make up trailer with heating system on the inside. "I'm going to go ahead and get some heat,I'm freezing out here."Giotto said as he hopped onto the trailer and sat down in the sofa,smiling to himself as he served himself a cup of coffee. Suddenly his cellphone started to ring. "Nyanyanyanyanyanyanyan~" Giotto picked up his cellphone and looked down at the contact. He smiled to see a familiar face as he answered. "Piper,what's up?"Giotto asked.

 

"Hey there little swan. I heard from Jester he just received the newest shipment. I do hope that he's already working on it. You know our boss isn't the most patient person."

 

"You know Jester he should be working on it by now. Besides he also has that cute little girl with him,so it should be easy for inspiration."Giotto chuckled.

 

"I guess. But if he gained the shipment,does it mean it worked?"

 

Giotto thought. "The distraction went perfectly. We lost the guys,but they can easily be replaced."Giotto muttered as he played with his hair.

Meanwhile in a luxury private airplane a young man by the name of Piper finished the call as well. "Piper!~" A young boy ran across the airplane as he jumped onto Piper's lap. "Are we going to see Zuri soon? Mama and Papa promised we'd see Zuri!"The young man complained. "You're so annoying. We're on our way to meet with him.
