Reyn 1,755 Posted August 7, 2014 Given that Square seems to be taking some fan feedback(like with more battle scenes in Re:Coded), i was hoping that they would do this at least for the trophies. It's one thing in 1.5 with 3 playthroughs for FM(not to mention, a few certain trophies require 2 at least), but then 6 playthroughs to plat. Re:COM is a bit annoying just for the plat. The real reason i'm worried about this in 2.5 more than here is because, everyone knows how long II is, and if people are just going for the plat. i doubt they want to do more playthroughs to get it. Then there's the real problem, BBS. 3 characters + 4 difficulty modes = 12 playthroughs, not counting the 4 Final Episode/Secret Episodes that come with it(both are only one world/one final boss, so they won't take long to finish). That would be going too far honestly. Not to mention, if i remember correctly, for both IIFM and BBSFM, Critical mode is available to play from the start of the game. I think it would be better if Square made the difficulty trophies stack for the lower difficulties if you do a difficulty higher than that, it'd save alot of time. 4 Yuya Sakaki, Nero Kunivas, Cucco and 1 other reacted to this

Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) I agree with everything you just said Spider. If Critical Mode is available from the beginning, then why not have stacking difficulty trophies? Kingdom Hearts II is way longer than Kingdom Hearts, and I haven't played Birth by Sleep but I don't want to have to play the game 12 times... It's just too much. Edit: If this was the case, I'd play Proud Mode first and then Critical Mode. Peace! Edited August 7, 2014 by CaelumMare
NO_HEART_XIII 312 Posted August 7, 2014 I doubt it. SE probably would have thought of that & just decided not to do it. If they do it, it's because fans are complaining. Sure 9 playthroughs is a bit much, but I'm not going to complain about playing a Kingdom Hearts game, no matter how many playthroughs it takes. I will platinum this game, no matter what. Setrex 1,031 Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) In this day and age there is no reason to not have difficulty trophies stacking. Re:CoM's was the perfect example of this, like you pointed out 6 playthroughs is a lot especially in a repetitive game like Re:CoM. I don't know if the team has listened to fans asking for stacking trophies but I really hope they have. Birth by Sleep will be the most tedious game in both collections to platinum otherwise. Jake 1,488 Posted August 7, 2014 Just wait for the "complete the game on critical mode level 1" trophy, then you will receive nightmares for days...

KH4Real 749 Posted August 7, 2014 I think they will go the same way as 1.5. They did also double triple for Re:CoM. But Re:CoM is not that long the same as BBS.
qwertywarrior16 47 Posted August 7, 2014 SQUARE LISTENS TO OUR FEEDBACK LOL. If you want them to listen to our feedback you better start learning Japanese.

There's 4 difficulties, and 3 characters, 4 playthroughs a character, so 12 playthroughs. : I will plat. the game either way, but it's honestly a bit too tedious. I probably wont plat. it for months if this happens, due to probably getting burnt out from trying to do 12 playthroughs ASAP. Just wait for the "complete the game on critical mode level 1" trophy, then you will receive nightmares for days... At least KHIIFM is balanced with that, seriously. If its BBS, then i'll never plat. it, but IIFM actually did a good job with that, you only have to watch your HP, you still do a good amount of damage normally. AngeI 11 Posted August 8, 2014 (edited) Well I'm one of the few that doesn't really care for trophies since I have seen some pretty hard ones to unlock, I just don't bother. I try and get the ones that I know I can get Edited August 8, 2014 by AngeI
Reyn 1,755 Posted August 8, 2014 Ya know they might probably leave critical out of BBS and mayby KH2 to. I would hope not. I would like if they didnt make it that you have to play one of the lesser difficulties first to get Critical like in 3D, i'd rather try out Critical from the start on my first run. Shulk 8,623 Posted August 9, 2014 I doubt they will, but that'd be really nice. I intend on starting both games on Critical anyway, so it'd make things much easier on me. Ya know they might probably leave critical out of BBS and mayby KH2 to. Why would they? If they did, I would honestly be really mad at Square. KHII and BBS are already easy enough, and I want at least a SLIGHT challenge. 1 Reyn reacted to this

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted August 10, 2014 Well, I'm sure that this time the difficulty trophies will stack up if you play the game in Critical Mode. Honestly, I've played the games in Critical Mode, so if I get to play Critical on KHII and BBS and get stacked trophies, I'll be more than happy! If they don't stack, I don't mind working on getting all the difficulty trophies! But yeah, stacking would help so much! O.O I promised myself I would Platinum 1.5 and 2.5, and I will fulfill that promise, so no matter what happens, I will get all the trophies!
King_Graham 135 Posted August 13, 2014 No, and the only reason they're doing coded the way they are is because they wanted to for both Days and Coded.
Drones 58 Posted August 19, 2014 Beating the game on all difficulties in Re:CoM wasn't that bad... definitely not for Riku. As for Sora I really don't even remember. BBS is completely different... I don't see why so many people are worried considering how many got the platinum trophy for RE: CoM, a trophy I believe would be half as dreadful as BBS' platinum. I'll have the platinum before 2015 here.
AaySquare 445 Posted August 20, 2014 Holy sh*t! 12 playthroughs for BBS?! I don't think I'll be able to do it no matter how much I love the game. I hope they realize this and stack the difficulty trophies!!!
