AuraAce 1,126 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) This is a countdown by yours truly. This list was going to be put on my channel however with the announcement of Persona 5 back in November 2013 to be a Winter release for this year, hope that I'd get this list out on time waded thin. So I've decided to just share my Top 10 on KH13. This list is basically a no rules list for there isn't any need to add the generic rules for a countdown like One Per Franchise, etc. This is my opinion however you can add your own opinion if you want to do so. ENOUGH RAMBLING! NOW THE LIST! NUMBER 10! Cameos! A lot of people will just sigh and wave knives at me for this. I'd like to see a Persona 4 cameo in Persona 5. Atlus are pretty prolific with Easter Eggs pertaining their past successes. In Persona 3 Portable, they had a cameo of Vincent from Catherine and a younger Yukiko Amagi. In Persona 4, they had a cameo of Chihiro Fushimi from Persona 3. In Persona 4 Arena, there is a Catherine calender in Yu Narukami's room. You get the picture of how many cameos there is. I'd personally like to see possibly a teenager Nanako NANAKO'S THE KILLER! or maybe a cameo from Labrys (I can dream.) NUMBER 9! Refined Battle System! Don't get me wrong. The battle system in the Persona series is near flawless, even when going through the agonizing hours of grinding, which is still fun despite it being grinding. By refined battle system, I mean to make it more fluid, possibly having the characters move as you are deciding what to use for that character, characters could possibly have new stats, possibly agility and speed for if movement is in the game while turn based combat is concerned, you will need good agility and speed to block or dodge an enemies attack. NUMBER 8! A whole new cast! This is a no brainer. We all want a fresh new colorful cast of characters, we've had a colorful cast of characters in the past two games (Not saying all the games because personally I haven't played Persona 1 or either of the two Persona 2 games.) We should still have the types of people that we've seen in the past two games, the Main Protagonist (Obviously: Minato and Yu), the Funny guy (Junpei and Yosuke), the brute or strong guy (Akihiko and Kanji), the Popular girl (Yukiko and Mitsuru), the character who is not human (Teddie and Aigis), etc, etc. I'm sure Atlus will pull this off as magnificently as they did in Persona 3 and 4. NUMBER 7! As dark a tone as they are getting at! Atlus, for a while, have been saying that Persona 5 will have a very dark tone to the game. By this they mean the theme, just by the small teaser trailer shown in November, the main color is red. In the Persona games, there is always a color associated with it, in Persona 3 it was blue, Persona 4 it was yellow, Persona 5 is going to be red. I love my colorful, happy cast as much as the next person but I'm all for it when they get down to the serious stuff. Even with the teaser, the school chairs with shackles on them says a lot and to add the "You are Slave. Want Emancipation?" motto Persona 5 seems to have, are they constrained to society or are they very limited on what they are allowed to do? Do they need to break free of the metaphorical shackles that hold them down? NUMBER 6! A Quick Save Feature! This is a small gripe but god damn this would make a mighty fine feature to have in the game. If you didn't know. In Persona titles, you have to save at the start of the dungeon, you get through 20 floors, say, you have to go for dinner, you can't save at the point you're at, you have to trek all the way back down those 20 floors to the start of the dungeon just to save. So being able to save while you're on that 20th floor would be very handy. I'm surprised something so simple like this hasn't been implemented yet. NUMBER 5! Same sex relationship! Now, this is not something that I am personally going to partake in, however, having same sex relationships wouldn't be a bad idea. It means that this game could maybe branch off and attract people who might be into RPGs who are homosexual, meaning they have this choice to have a homosexual relationship, male or female in the game. Speaking of male or female, this leads me into. NUMBER 4! Male and Female Protagonist! This is one that a lot of people are hoping for. A chance that people can play as either sex. I'm sure a lot of girls are possibly frustrated at the fact in eight main games (Including Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 Golden) there is only two female protagonists. Maya Amano from Persona 2: Eternal Punishment and Minako Arisato from Persona 3 Portable. NUMBER 3! NO SILENT PROTAGONIST!!!!!! There is a number of obvious reasons why this should come to be. One of the genres of Persona is Life-Simulator, you can't exactly go through life without talking. Even if the choices you make to speak were spoken with an actual voice actor/actress, I would be completely fine with it, rather than them just waving their hand as if they were talking. Another reason is that the silent characters don't have any character development at all for the sole reason that they are silent. NUMBER 2! An even bigger area to discover! In past Persona titles, you were given a set area you could explore, in Persona 3, it took place in Iwatodai and Persona 4 takes place in Inaba. I'd like to see an even bigger area, you usually get a few small places you can visit like the school, the shopping district, the park, etc, etc. I'd like to see them opened up a little more and expanded to be broader and to give me more reason to explore the overworld of Persona. AND FINALLY! NUMBER 1! Better Relationships and Social Links! This is what I personally hope will come to fruition in Persona 5. Social Links are the base of the Life-Simulator, you talk to people, mainly your party members and grow better friendships and for every party member who's a female in both Persona 3 and 4, you can get into a romantic relationship with them. However. Once you achieve this romantic relationship, it's just sorta there. It doesn't impact the story in any way, shape or form, there is no mention of it at all from that moment on wards. I mean sure they'll take hits for you in battle but that's it. They need to up their game in this part, make the relationships and friendships more meaningful and developed. I hope you guys enjoyed the list. SwanDive 25 Posted August 2, 2014 Also, include a new way to acquire personas! Fusion is fine and all, but I also want to be able to fight a persona in order to get it on my team.
